This may be, but it’s certainly true that there are many longtime migrants in Britain who still can’t speak the language. And it’s also true that British officialdom is terrified beyond measure of offending the nation’s Muslim community. Consequently, the ruling against Dr. Wolverson is seriously doubtful.

A GP has been found guilty of misconduct for asking a Muslim woman to remove her veil and could be struck off the medical register.
Dr Keith Wolverson, 55, was found guilty of misconduct over the incident and for criticising patients’ English skills in medical records by a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) hearing on Monday.
The panel is yet to have made a determination on what sanction Dr Wolverson should receive but he faces being suspended from or struck off the medical register.
The Tribunal ruled the Derby-based doctor was “wrong” to ask a patient, known as Mrs Q, to remove her veil in order to “aid communication” during a consultation.
It also found Dr Wolverson was “impaired by reason of misconduct” after referring to patients’ ability to speak English as “abysmal”, “extremely wanting” and “terrible” in an email to colleagues.
The Tribunal heard Mrs Q made it clear to Dr Wolverson she did not want to remove her veil because she did not feel it was necessary for the consultation and that she spoke “good English”.
Dr Wolverson was found guilty on 17 allegations of misconduct including 13 related to the consultation with Mrs Q. He faced 28 allegations, including 16 from the veil incident….

this is way beyond ridiculous. when my son was little, I had to take him to a neurologist for an exam that was the result of a referral as he was having trouble walking. The “doctor” was from somewhere on the planet, I think, but his English was terrible. He kept yelling at my little boy in his terrible pronunciations of simple words, and my son didn’t understand the commands to do this or that, so the doctor just yelled louder.
I finally told him that my son …and I….couldn’t understand him and he said, “you are the ones who can’t speak English.” I understood that much. Later on, when I learned more about islam, putting the name of this creep together with his accent and appearance, I concluded that he was mozlum and was just being his disrespectful and arrogant self.
I can only imagine if he had been female and wearing a mouth covering.
this poor doctor who faced the trial and has been found guilty…like others…doesn’t stand a chance of being treated fairly.

I speak some German–I am able to generally, but not always, make myself understood. I was once speaking to an older German lady. She could only understand about half of what I was saying. I certainly didn’t get angry at her, or absurdly claim that she was the one who couldn’t properly speak German.

If this woman wanted her privacy respected then what was she doing seeing a doctor? Depending on her needs, she almost certainly would have had to let him see more than her face and hands.
Given the UK’s eagerness to placate its Muslim population, were there no translators to whom this woman could communicate her problem?

Yeah, he should come out here to New Zealand where there is a shortage of doctors (and for that matter nurses too). Mind you, NZ is also well down this PC track. Trouble is, he’s the wrong side of 50, so may not have enough points. Worth a try though.

Sounds like an incredibly stupid decision. Maybe this doctor did have a nasty kind of attitude and tone of voice, (who knows) but I would have thought that this Muslim woman should maybe have gone to a woman doctor. I’m not sure about the totally fucked up, primitive rules of Muslims (I know these pathetic slave like women are supposed to be covered up for all people except their husbands), but surely the Muslim woman could have uncovered her face for a woman doctor in the interests of being able to have her words understood. All this pathetic caving in to the endlessly whining Muslim crowd is sickening. It would be far better if Muslims stayed in their own Muslim countries and lived there by their idiotically primitive standards, such as this bullshit where the women are covered up head to toe. It’s 2022 and yet there are people still living in this primitive style. It’s an embarrassment to the human race.

A few years ago I had a doctor who had her nurse tell every patient to strip down to their underwear and don a paper hospital gown while in the examination room waiting for her. I sometimes considered this unnecessary, but it was well within acceptable requests and she was a great doctor, so I didn’t question it. She once said that it saved time if she had to do a serious examination, and I’m sure this was true.
How would this fake victim-mongering Muslimah have handled that? I’m sure she would have been screaming to high heaven.
I can think of myriad reasons why the patient would have to remove her headscarf to be properly examined.

I was a second year student nurse back in the 80’s. Had to do 6 weeks in the operating theatres. I was very upset because I could not understand one particular Irish theatre nurse who had a very strong accent and of course, in theatres, was wearing a mask.
I even went to the nurse educator for advice as I didn’t want the Irish nurse to think I was stupid for repeatedly not understanding.
I can understand where this doctor was coming from in asking a mask to be removed for better communication. Imagine the outcry if he’d missed something and there was an adverse event.

My first thought was why was this muslim ”female” visiting a non muslim Male Doctor and not a female Doctor and even a muslim one…That smells fishy to me as we have seen in the past how bogus set ups by muslim women against white non muslim men, and so where was her chaperone as she is certainly not allowed by her husband to go into a room with a man, let alone a man that does not follow the Fascist Religious Cult of Satan that they do…
