The Plea Deal of a US ISIS Terrorist Has Benghazi Links

I wrote about the curious case of Allison Fluke-Ekren, a Kansas woman who married a Turkish Muslim, converted and became a key ISIS figure back in January. 

“Since her departure from the United States, Fluke-Ekren has allegedly been involved with a number of terrorism-related activities on behalf of ISIS from at least 2014. These activities allegedly include, but are not limited to, planning and recruiting operatives for a potential future attack on a college campus inside the United States and serving as the appointed leader and organizer of an ISIS military battalion, known as the Khatiba Nusaybah, in order to train women on the use of automatic firing AK-47 assault rifles, grenades and suicide belts. Additionally, Fluke-Ekren allegedly provided ISIS and ISIS members with services, which included providing lodging, translating speeches made by ISIS leaders, training children on the use of AK-47 assault rifles and suicide belts and teaching extremist ISIS doctrine.”

The DOJ materials mention that she went with her husband to Syria to live “in the land of Sharia”

There was a proposed attack on a college campus in which the terrorists would “dress like infidels” and leave a bomb backpack. 

Fluke-Ekren “explained that she could go to a shopping mall in the United States, park a vehicle full of explosives in the basement or parking garage level of the structure, and detonate the explosives in the vehicle with a cell phone triggering device.”

When Fluke-Ekren “would hear about external attacks taking place in countries outside the United States, Fluke-Ekren would comment that she wished the attack occurred on United States soil instead.”

Allison Fluke-Ekren has pleaded guilty.

According to court documents, Allison Fluke-Ekren, aka Allison Ekren, aka Umm Mohammed al-Amriki and aka Umm Mohammed, 42, a former resident of Kansas, traveled overseas and from in or about September 2011 through in or about May 2019, engaged in terrorism-related activities in multiple countries, including Syria, Libya and Iraq. Fluke-Ekren ultimately served as the leader and organizer of an ISIS military battalion, known as the Khatiba Nusaybah, where she trained women on the use of automatic firing AK-47 assault rifles, grenades and suicide belts. Over 100 women and young girls, including as young as 10 or 11-years-old, received military training from Fluke-Ekren in Syria on behalf of ISIS.

In or around 2008, Fluke-Ekren departed the United States and moved to Egypt with her second husband, a now-deceased former member of the terrorist organization Ansar al-Sharia. Fluke-Ekren resided in Egypt until in or around 2011, at which point she moved to Libya. Near the end of 2011, Fluke-Ekren resided with her second husband, among others, in Benghazi, Libya. In the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission and CIA Annex in Benghazi, Fluke-Ekren’s second husband claimed that he removed at least one box of documents and at least one electronic device from the U.S. compound in Benghazi. He brought the items to the residence where he resided with Fluke-Ekren and others at that time. Fluke-Ekren assisted her second husband with reviewing and summarizing the contents of the stolen U.S. government documents. The stolen documents and electronic device, along with the summaries that Fluke-Ekren helped prepare, were provided to the leadership of Ansar al-Sharia in Benghazi.

That is a hell of a detour. 

Now remember, that wave of 9/11 attacks had an Egyptian center. There are still basic questions about who organized them and how that can’t be discussed since the Obama administration insisted on pushing the lie that these were protests in response to a YouTube video. All of these materials should have been declassified during the Trump administration, sadly that never happened, and so we have to be content with bits and pieces. In this case, we have the presence of foreign fighters with Ansar Al-Sharia who then went on to join ISIS.

Or so we presume.

There’s a trajectory here from Turkey to Egypt to Libya to Syria and Iraq that’s revealing of the circuit of the Jihad. Ansar Al-Sharia, despite desperate denials by Obama and his media, had Al Qaeda ties. What we’re seeing here is the way that foreign fighters moved from one Jihadi organization to another around the world.

Along with a high degree of coordination.

It’s also confirmation that the attack on Benghazi was also about securing classified documents on behalf of Al Qaeda and other Islamic terrorist groups.
