Hard to believe they ever had any. It was clear from the moment they were declared the victor that the Biden team would be the best friends the Iranian mullahs ever had. What is astounding is that even the Biden team of appeasers seems to be unwilling to give the mullahs absolutely everything they want, including the removal of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps from the terror list. The Iranian people have “lost all hope” in the Biden administration but will nonetheless overthrow the Islamist regime in control of their country with or without Western support, a member of the opposition operating inside Iran told Just the News in an exclusive interview.
“We’re not just discontent,” said a representative of the resistance who asked only to be identified as Khosrow for security reasons. “The Iranian resistance have lost all hope in the Biden administration. The price of President Biden’s policy on the people of Iran and the region is one being paid with our blood and the destruction of our lives.”
Khosrow, who’s carrying out a range of duties for the resistance from mobilizing anti-government protests to supporting families of political prisoners, said the Iranian people have always relied on themselves to build a free Iran and don’t expect anybody else to do it for them.
“But as a representative of the Resistance Units,” he said, “we want for the U.S. and international community to end their appeasement policy toward the regime and impose sanctions on this octopus, which has so many hands that cause so much death and destruction.”
The so-called “Resistance Units” — a network of Iranian activists associated with Iran’s largest and most prominent opposition group, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK) — have been at the forefront of shaping and guiding anti-government protests that are currently erupting across the country.
Khosrow’s criticism of the West “appeasing” Iran and call to impose additional sanctions comes as the Biden administration remains intent on reviving the 2015 nuclear deal, officially called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
“We continue to believe that a mutual return to compliance with the JCPOA is in our national security interest,” State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters on Thursday.
One week earlier, Biden’s top negotiator for Iran nuclear talks, Robert Malley, acknowledged the chances of success were “tenuous” but added the administration is “prepared to get back into the JCPOA for as long as our assessment is that its nonproliferation benefits are worth the sanctions relief.”…

First, he blames Biden for US policy, saying “the price of President Biden’s policy on the people of Iran and the region is one being paid with our blood and the destruction of our lives.”
Then he said the Iranian people have always relied on themselves to build a free Iran and don’t expect anybody else to do it for them.
So which is it? If you’re relying on yourselves then you don’t need to have any faith in Biden or in the US. If you’re so intent on freeing yourselves, just do it. Anti-government protests and supporting families of political prisoners won’t dislodge this regime. Are you prepared to fight for your own freedom? That’s what it will take.

The MEK may be opposed to this regime, but they are a Leftist organization nonetheless formerly supported by Saddam Hussein during the 80s war b/w Iran and Iraq. Whenever I read that they are involved in any campaign, it’s more of a ‘nothing to see here, move along’

Long ago, I ran into an MEK guy collecting signatures for an anti-mullah petition on the National Mall. “Oh, you’re the first revolutionary fighters into the Nest of Spies back in 1979?” He beams with pride. I say, “Well, you’ve got your bloody nerve soliciting support here, Were I president, the lot of you would be stripped of immigration benefits and deported by last Thursday! Let Iran stew in its own bollixed up juices. If the Mad Mullahs are over thrown and they want better relations with us, well and good. But, when the choice is the Mad Mullahs or the MEK (an unholy mix of Islam and Marxism), the USA doesn’t have a dog in the fight. Maybe let China take the heat and ill-will for propping up its strategic ally.

We’ve been hearing about the Iranian resistance for almost four decades, ever since the Reagan administration. Even if they end up getting rid of the mullahs, it’s hardly a given that they will suddenly give up their own desire for jihad and be a friend of the West.

It is usually the youth who carry out a revolution while a regime change might simply be a result of infighting for power among the elite which, for the society, changes nothing.
Iran requires another Revolution which will only come from its young. What is the manner of their indoctrination? Do the majority of youth support a national goal of destroying Israel or do they see the Islamic system as a modern failure?
While it would be a gift to the free world to see the Ayatollahs actually doing work in re-education camps, where is the common core movement among Iranian youth for a religion-free revolution? A religion-based revolution would only replace one dictatorship with another.
The Iranian Ayatollahs think nothing of murdering 10,000 youths who demonstrate against the regime. A revolution can only succeed if a majority of youth are willing to stake their lives on the outcome.
Islam makes a revolution more difficult since the doctrine equates the life of an apostate or takfir to zero. Parents may be willing to kill their own children to stop an overthrow of the Ayatollahs..

I think it’s safe to write off Iran. We saw the other article from Hugh noting how Iran too is hitting a low birthrate, and w/ that, an aging population. Based on that, there won’t be enough Iranians to overturn this system, even while their elderly population dies out. End result will be the rare case of a muslim country disappearing due to a population implosion

I do, however, enjoy calling the top Mullah by his official title, Supreme Leader. One of reasons that Joe Biden is so very completely useless and will continue to be useless to help aid. the Iranian people to overthrow that brutal cruel vicious oppressive tyrannical “mullah regime” of Iran and restore the natural basic rights and freedom that they should have is because that Islamic tyranny has information on Biden that he is afraid that Iran’s rulers would widely publicized if he aided the Iranian resistance ,in by method or in any way.
What those in power have that information on Biden is that their Islamic dictatorship had interfered ,as in it was meddling , during the year of 2020 in the American national election process to have that weak old feeble Joe Biden installed in the Office of the United States Presidency because President Trump was strong enough to “stand up to” the Muslim tyrants in power in Iran and Biden in contrast to President Trump would be easy to control and be manipulated by the ayatollahs and mullahs of Iran.
