Here’s how it works with receiving Holy Communion.
If you are not in a “State of Grace” taking Holy Communion is “Consuming your own damnation.”
Refusing a someone, like Pelosi, is NOT a punishment, but an action to prevent making a bad situation worse.
Perhaps a good analogy is like refusing to let a drunk take up a plane.
Flying is a great and glorious thing, but you KNOW that drunk is going to crash and burn.

You guys are right. Atheists make the claim…in a very arrogant way…that our God does not exist, even knowing they cannot prove their claim. Then, these people who don’t believe in our God, such as the whoopi fool, assert their fake *right* to tell us what we can and cannot do according to their own feelings.
In fact, they are setting themselves up as all-knowing ‘gods.’

And the Bible does say that if a person “partakes” and they are doing so when they should not, “unworthily,” they have committed a very grave sin.
Since faith in Christ is founded on the Bible…as He said, we who put faith in Him because of the “words” of the disciples writing about Him…the Bible should be the authority or whether a person can be denied some aspects of what goes on or is not allowed in a church.
If a person is not a reader of the Bible, does not believe in what it says, does not believe in God being the One to tell us how to live, and does not accept the Commandments of Jesus, they should just stay out of the conversation on what people like pelosi deserve or not.

The Catholic Church is not an ideological buffet. You can’t pick and choose which regulations you will follow and which ones you won’t. Pelosi should not present herself for Communion, and neither should Biden.

Many treat the Bible the same way. They don’t like or agree with a Commandment or Law, so they “choose” not to follow that verse(s) and “pick” ones they like in an attempt to justify their position.
They want to believe…and fool themselves…that God doesn’t really care if they are obedient or not as long as they pretend they are being “faithful” and “righteous.”
Several other priests in the U.S. have taken the stand with the one who told her she would not be allowed, and one said since she is a member of the one diocese, she should have to abide by its ruling wherever she goes. But, I saw that she did attend another one, anyway.
Not very obedient nor “faithful” if one asks me, and I’m not Catholic. I just know a bit more about the Bible and Jesus than whoopi.
