George Soros spent $40 million to elect 75 ‘social justice’ prosecutors in crime-ridden cities

Under Democrat influence, America is weakening daily, increasingly resembling the lawless and poverty-stricken countries that drove immigrants to its borders in the first place. With open borders, America creeps toward a Marxist globalist vision of an imaginary utopia, as its progressive socialist Biden government cronies appoint and hire those committed to do its bidding. The forces working toward America’s demise are deep.

George Soros has exercised enormous influence under the radar, in every sector of American society. Two years ago, the Washington Times reported that “George Soros is 89 years old, but by gosh, before he dies, he’s going to see to the internal destruction of America.”

Soros has been pouring money into campaigns to help elect lenient social justice district attorneys for quite some time. It isn’t that Soros or the progressive movement genuinely cares about the welfare of minorities, particularly blacks in the inner cities and those who have escorted in under open-door immigration policies. His funding has to do with usurping America’s democracy and capitalist system and replacing it with socialism, a system of government that has never worked for the people throughout history. Instead, it led to the creation of abusive regimes that eventually saw multitudes murdered for daring to oppose its tenets.

Even Politico did a piece in 2016 about Soros quietly overhauling the American justice system from within by “zeroing in” on America prosecutors and working toward criminal justice reform. It led to its desired effect: a crime surge, but was sold to the American public as noble social justice to help minorities.

Although progressives have succeeded in transforming the landscape, the adverse consequences are becoming ever more obvious. The globalist project is a stark failure, and people are waking up to the truth about the dark Democratic money machine. For instance:

San Francisco residents voted to recall Chesa Boudin, a progressive district attorney who sought to reform the criminal-justice system but met fierce opposition from critics who painted him as too lenient on crime.

But the political structure is heirarchial, so the battle for the soul of America continues. San Francisco Mayor London Breed is a Democrat, so it’s expected that she will appoint another progressive district attorney. It all depends on how far Left, and on the influences behind the scene. According to John Hamasaki, a former San Francisco police commissioner, “shifting who’s in that office will likely have little impact on the way cases are prosecuted.” But it’s a start. Breed raised eyebrows among her more radical cohorts when she vowed in December to “take steps to be more aggressive with law enforcement” against criminals “and less tolerant of all the bull— that has destroyed our city.”

In the meantime, the Soros puppetmaster continues to shower the Democrat machine with unlimited funds.

Sky-high campaign donations from liberal anti-police billionaire George Soros and his groups have helped to elect 75 “social justice” prosecutors in whose cities jailings have plummeted and crime has surged, according to a new report provided to Secrets.

In a 17-page report compiled by the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund, a decade of spending has put Soros prosecutors in enough big cities that they represent 1 in 5 people, or about 72 million. That includes about half of America’s 50 most populous cities and counties where 40% of U.S. homicides occur.

Soros is a well-known proponent of social justice prosecution, which calls for lighter sentences, especially of minorities. The movement, however, has led to higher crime in some cities and has been decried by pro-law-and-order conservatives.

Police have led the charge against liberal prosecutors who have been refusing to file charges that lead to long prison sentences.

In a statement to Secrets, LELDF President Jason Johnson hit the Soros funding.

“Soros is using that campaign money and the hundreds of millions more for supporting organizations to quietly transform the criminal justice system for the worse, promoting dangerous policies and anti-police narratives to advance his radical agenda,” said Johnson.

He added, “Over the past decade, George Soros has spent $40 million to elect 75 of his chosen prosecutors. In campaigns from Houston and Los Angeles to Philadelphia and Orlando, Soros was the campaign’s biggest spender by far — as much as 90% of the dollars spent in some races. Soros isn’t done yet — he’s already spent another million so far this year on his hand-picked district attorneys.”

Soros is well known in liberal donor circles as a supporter of the most liberal causes, including for groups advocating gun bans and defunding the police. That has made him a prime target of law enforcement groups.

The report found that many new district attorneys had little experience but the support of liberal donors such as Soros. What’s more, it said that as the social justice movement has grown, so has funding of district attorney political campaigns.

“Traditionally, elections for district attorney have been quiet affairs. Candidates spent very little on their campaigns, instead jockeying for local endorsements and burnishing their legal qualifications for the top job. That changed recently as millions of campaign dollars have flowed into these down ballot contests. The bulk of that lavish spending on advertising and consultants has been done by (or on behalf of) ‘social justice’ candidates,” said the report.

“In most of these free spending contests, progressive forces proved victorious by either defeating incumbent Democrats or crushing a field of primary contenders. Strikingly, most of these prosecutors were political neophytes and had zero prosecutorial experience — previously an assumed prerequisite for office. Many have no previous criminal case experience,” it added.

The report listed many of the groups that have used Soros’s funding to elect prosecutors. And it lists the biggest winners of that money, including Chicago’s Kim Foxx, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and Loudoun County, Virginia, Commonwealth Attorney Buta Biberaj………

  1. America was once a country that people came to in order to build a better life for themselves. Now people are coming to America come because they think a better life will be given to them. Once the immigrants had only themselves to rely upon. Now the immigrants rely upon everyone but themselves. How long before America becomes exactly like the countries the immigrants of the past were fleeing? I think we are already there. It was nice while it lasted but people always find a way to ruin everything .. and George Soros is laughing about it all the way to the bank. How did this guy get so rich anyway?

      Principally, though not solely, CES, by way of the currency markets, betting on one currency v. another, and making billions in the process. Oh, he’s brilliant in this respect all right but he’s a moral retrograde of the first dimension, and proving again that intelligence without morality is highly dangerous. Or, as Teddy Roosevelt put it, to educate a person in the mind but not in morals is to create a menace to society.

      • So Soros makes his money betting on the ups and downs of the value of money which in turn is related to the ups and downs of the social, political and economic conditions in various countries. It’s harder to make money trading a certain currency when that currency is stable. So investing in instability and maybe even causing some instability in various countries is a money making proposition for Soros. What a great way to get rich. No, not really. I think the man is truly evil.

        After being the murderer of many Jewish people in Budapest, he and his family got (like all the nazis) help, They let to tattoo their arms like the nazis did to the Jews and the same nazis including family Soros did the same when the Russians were near Hungary in the ned of the WWII.
        They were frightened that among the Russian soldiers there could be some Hungarian Jewish persons who knew what crimes this family did, so they asked the Hungarian authorities to help them out of Huingary. The Soros family got out and came to England, where they lived on the money of Jewish communities in London and Soros got a job at the English firm owned by the Jewish family.
        He stole the money there and was discovered and charged with fraud and theft and money laundering.
        However, he escaped to the US and kept first low profile.
        But in the 1990s he by fraud, theft and human trafficking he became billionaire.
        And now, nobody can get rid of this criminal family his sons and his daughter.

        • I am *no* fan of George Soros, but the claim that he was a Nazi does not hold water. He was just 14 at the end of WWII. He was working as a messenger for the Jewish community advisors–such jobs meant that these families got to survive for a bit longer. When he was given a large number of papers telling prominent Jews to report to authorities, he asked his father what he should do, as he worried that this was not good news. He said he should deliver the papers but warn the recipients to get out of Hungary if possible.

          As a young teenage boy, I don’t think there was much else he could do–and he may have saved a couple of lives.

          He has a lot to answer for as an adult–but as a kid with few options, not so much.

        • soros has bragged about his help to the nazis. He has said helping the nazis was the “best time of (his) life.’ I have watched video and heard him saying it.

          Even a teenager can know that squealing on his own people so they can be rounded up and killed, is wrong.

    • Fox News is just Leftism Light any longer, James.

      Yes, Tucker Carlson and Gutfeld, even Laura Ingraham at times, still speak the truth (forget Sean Hannity considering his enabling of Oz and the hit job he did on Barnett), but it’s getting worse and worse (look at how Lara Logan has been cancelled for accurately characterizing Fauci, and Jeanne Pirro was temporarily cancelled for speaking the truth about Islam). And anyone who thinks that Bret Baier and Martha McCollum still speak the truth, are total RINOs.

      I’m pretty much done with Fox. Not completely, but mostly so. And yet in Leftworld, Fox is still too far Right. Ah yes, what stupid, mendacious and duplicitous times we live in.

      FNC has been dead for me since November 5th 2020. Now it’s Newsmax that I watch, and some former FNC stars like Rob Schmitt and Eric Bolling are there, and do a great job. Their other anchors are good as well, but if one is underwhelmed by them, at least watch it for Rob Schmitt’s show at 10:00pm weeknights

    Very troubling.

    San Francisco actually recalled its soft on crime “progressive” District Attorney who did nothing to stop skyrocketing crime rates here–then he doubled down, saying that concern over rampant crime was just fueled by “right-wing billionaires”.

    But, as noted, Mayor London Breed is apt to appoint someone no better. But then there’s a new election upcoming.

    Then there is the push in California to strip the mandate that candidates for Sheriff have at least some law enforcement experience–that will politicize this further. Here in Alameda County (Oakland Berkeley, etc) there was a big leftist campaign against Sheriff Ahern. His “crimes”? Cooperating with ICE over violent criminals only, and referring in a speech to the “Thin Blue Line”–which was bizarrely called “racist”. even though Black, Hispanic, and Asian police have also used this term.

    Yesenia Sanchez, the top vote getter, had a platform of “racial justice”, more services in jails, “de-escalation” rather than jailing, and cutting all ties with ICE–which means that violent illegal aliens will be released back into public.

    She then vows to root out right-wing militia groups such as the Oath Keepers (never mind if this is an accurate estimate of this group to begin with) and white supremacists out of law enforcement. Never mind that this has never proven to be a problem here in the first place.

    But I’m sure if she wins the run-off this will be used against white officers, baseless or not.

Here is a guy who has made millions or a Billion off the hard working men and women of America and he wants to destroy our lives in favor of those who chose badly and want to live off of the rest of society. I’am sure he wants to live in and amongst the low lives he is supporting. What a JERK.
