The Sunni-Shi’ite jihad has come to the United States also.

Shia militants from the Houthi movement assaulted Sunni worshippers and dispersed them from a night prayer in central Yemen’s Ibb governorate on Thursday, local sources have said on the condition of anonymity.
A Houthi mob led by Mufeed Al-Zohri who is known by the teknonym (Abu Raad) stormed a mosque in al-Odayn countryside assaulted the mosque’s Imam Abdullah al-Hakami and riddled the mosque’s internal walls with bullets injuring some worshipers with fragments….

I don’t cheer for either side. I’m old enough to remember the Iranian assault on the US embassy in Tehran. I can remember when we were told the Shiites were the ‘radicals’ and the Sunnis the ‘moderates’. Right now, I don’t care about either side. Whatever side kills the other, I don’t care. They can kill each other. I don’t care.

Why would you cheer for Shiites, given that Iran would nuke all of us if it could? They killed our Marines in Lebanon. Why would you ever cheer for Shiites?

I wouldn’t cheer for shi’ites against anybody. Except sunnis, who outnumber them 19:1. Like I oppose Hizbullah, the Houthis, Kataeb Hizbullah, but I’m fine w/ the Hazara group Hizb e Wahdat which used to fight the Taliban

Infidel, the only reason most sectarian Muslim on Muslim violence is Sunni on Shia is because Shia only make up about 10% of the global Muslim population. But in places where Shia either have a greater population or are in power–Iran, Iraq, Yemen under the Houthis, and a few other localized areas–it often goes the other way. This is purely about numbers, not about moral superiority.

Very true! But if shi’ites were wiped out, then sunnis would turn outwards. Of course, there is a good possibility that other sectarian divisions – Arab vs Turk, Pashtu vs Tajik, Deobandi vs Barellvi, et al would play out in its place, but there would still be a danger that someone could unite all sunnis under the same umbrella

Gravenimag Bill is a muslim, this is something I’m 100% certain of. I wouldn’t make such an allegation if I wasn’t so sure. He’s attacked many on this site including myself, always coming down on the side of islam. He has also attacked you and Robert Spencer, the two most out spoken critics of islam, I rest my case.
