Yes–that Amazon removed “The Critical Qur’an” from the list of bestselling Qur’ans is just ludicrous. This is obviously just political–clearly this *is* a Qur’an–Amazon just doesn’t like the critical commentary.
Still the bestseller, though! I just got my copy today.
Would Amazon have the same problem with a Bible with critical commentary? Of course not; nor should they.
(Please note I wrote the above *before* Robert Spencer and David Wood addressed this very topic).
And yes–saying that the Qur’an is violent is fine–just so long as you *support* such violence. Just appalling. But this is *very* common. The same is true with other aspects of Islam. like Aisha being underaged with Muhammed married her.
Of course, Infidels are not supposed to know this–until it is too late.
Of course, still plenty of “old school” Jihad, with Muslims slaughtering other Muslims, including blowing up Mosques, because this one type of prayer is deemed “heretical”.
This is rife in Islam–the idea that “real” Muslims don’t kill other Muslims is utterly false. This is codified in the texts of Islam, including the Qur’an itself. The only question is which sects of Islam are to be considered “heretical” or “apostate” and which are not.
But a lot of hopeful Infidels are desperate to believe this “peaceful” twaddle.
Then, in New Jersey another well off, successful Muslim plotting violent Jihad–so much for the idea that Jihadists are all “disenfranchised”, poor, and ignorant. Never mind that this is rarely the case.
And of course, the idea that so much of this is due to “mental illness” is so absurd, since this is what Islam itself teaches.
And it’s not just in the US–here’s a Muslim in Italy who quarrels with a Muslim coworker–and *beheads him*. He likely no longer considered his victim to be a pious Muslim.
Then there’s the Muslim cleric in Manchester England that received so many death threats for speaking against Jihad that he had to flee the city and go into hiding. Hardly just a “small minority of extremists”…
And yes–with greater Muslim immigration into the West, this is just going to get worse.

There should be more open debate between The Islamists and non believers in the teachings of a mediaeval Arab pedophile warlord who took slaves.
Then people can see for themselves the violence and intolerance of Islam.

I pre-ordered my Critical Quran from Amazon USA and it arrived yesterday. I read early reviews – 78% five stars, 8% four stars and 14% 1 star(2 comments). I will be adding my comments when I finish.

It was the same in Nazi Germany, many Germans disliked Hitler and the Nazis but the consequences of saying so to one’s neighbours were dire, even children were instructed to report their parents’ disloyalty.
The same applies to communist Russia and indeed in it is coming in USA today for people who say things that are not accepted by the woke culture

Then there’s the Muslim in Germany who murdered his wife because she was too “westernized–this hideous “Honor Killing” is all too common. Over 90% of the world’s “Honor Killings” are committed by Muslims. With Muslim immigration, they are becoming all too common here. Sometimes the victims are Western Infidels.
And out of Belgium, a similar case where a Muslim murders his sister, for just the same reason.
As David Wood notes, these victims are considered “hypocrites” or “apostates” for following a completely Islamic life style, and so can lawfully be murdered in Islam.
And in Uganda, a woman leaves Islam and her husband attacks her and tries to murder her.
No wonder so few Muslims leave Islam with the death penalty. It is amazing how many are brave enough to leave under these terrible threats.
And no indeed! My Critical Qur’an is not signed either! Who do I have to kill around here to get a signed copy of the Qur’an? (Actually, this is not as funny as I thought it would be under the circumstances. Please just ignore this…).
Back to the violent Jihad: Muslims enter a Church on Palm Sunday in Sudan and attack Christians there, but it is the Pastor who is arrested. So much for Sudan becoming “moderate” as we have heard…
In fact, arresting the Infidel victims of Muslim violence is *very* common in Dar-al-Islam. I’m sure a lot of Infidels don’t even report many Jihad cases to police, for this very reason.
Then, worse, murderous Jihad against Christians in Nigeria. The government does nothing. And yet, this is rarely reported at all in the West, and when it is, almost never as a Jihad against Christians. And yes–things are so bad in Nigeria that this is spreading to surrounding nations like Benin.
And more Jihad against a Hindu leader in Bangladesh, as he is tied to a tree and beaten.
And even in India itself, there are attacks on Hindu processions.
Then threats against prisoners in the West–many of them are bowing to Islamic norms like not eating pork out of fear. That authorities are allowing this is just appalling. There are also forced conversions.

Then here in the US Biden is claiming that Muslims face targeted attacks here in the US–without, of course, citing a *single case*. This kowtowing and dishonest pandering is just sickening.
Then, that the “fact check” against David Wood is *himself* a Jihadist. Can’t make this stuff up. Yasir Qadhi has spouted apologia justifying Jihad terror, including 9/11, saying that the West causes Jihad terror.
And the claim that Robert Spencer “altered” a video of him quoting the Qur’an is ludicrous. Now I know that along with his–what was it? “Zionist dark arts”, I think–Spencer is also one mean Photoshop user. Awesome…
And then there is the Islamic scholar who says that Muslim wives have to allow their husband to have sex with her *while she is in labor*.
Interestingly, a Muslim commenter at Jihad Watch–“Tony”, really Abdul–says that if anyone has a problem with this abuse and marital rape that they are “disgusting”:

Of course, Sunni/Shia violence in the West is not nearly as funny…but is becoming more and more common in the West with increased Muslim immigration.
