The bishop had been debating Muslims for four days before he was attacked. The attack was one way for the Muslims to drive their point home that some of them evidently found more effective than tactic involving reason and rhetoric.

NAIROBI, Kenya (Morning Star News) – Two Christians died when Muslim extremists on Thursday (May 5) set fire to a church building in southern Uganda, sources said.
Most of the Christians holding an all-night prayer vigil had left when the structure of Holy Healing Ministry International Church in the city of Jinja’s Mpumudde ward was set ablaze at about 4 a.m., said church Pastor George Kato.
“The fire weakened the church structure and forced it to collapse,” Pastor Kato told Morning Star News. “I managed to escape with other remaining few members, but two elderly members were trapped inside, and the fire burned them beyond recognition.”
As he came out of the church building, Pastor Kato said, he found jerry cans of gas near the door.
“I made an alarm while running away,” he said. “I saw three Muslims dressed in long Islamic attire taking off. I couldn’t identify them.”
Hardline area Muslims accusing the Christians of being too loud in their worship services and prayer meetings had told them many times to remove the church building, he said.
As the building burned, Pastor Kato called police who arrived quickly, but the wooden structure was already engulfed in flames.
One of the two church members who died was identified as Jonathan Kalyecheru, 70. The identity of the second victim was unclear. The bodies were taken to Jinja Regional Referral Hospital mortuary as police investigated.
Jinja is in Jinja District on the north shore of Lake Victoria, about 80 kilometers (49 miles) from Kampala, the capital.
Bishop Attacked
Near eastern Uganda’s Mbale town, hardline Muslims on April 28 intercepted a church leader and cut him with knives after he left an open-air evangelistic event where he had debated Muslims, sources said.
Bishop Amon Sadiiki was receiving treatment for wounds on his head, stomach and legs. He was ambushed after four days of debates with Muslims in Mbale.
“On the fourth day of the debate, 11 Muslims converted to Christianity,” an area contact said, adding that as the bishop left Mbale at about 8 p.m., many Muslims were shouting at him.
Believing Sadiiki might not be safe traveling alone, organizers of the event arranged for two Christians on motorcycles, Peter Wabukoma and Moses Werikhe, to escort him. On the Mugiti-Kabwangasi road, they noticed two motorcycles with three riders following them, who then passed by brandishing knives and shouting the jihadist slogan, “Allahu Akbar [God is greater],” the source said.
The men jumped off their motorcycles, stopped them and immediately began hitting and cutting Sadiiki before he could be defended, one of the escorts said….

Here we have a lesson for every Muslim and Christian. Whenever a Muslim on his motorcycle passes a Christian on his motorcycle the Christian should be stopped, dragged from his motorcycle and then beaten, stabbed and left to die at the side of the road. It’s the real story Jesus told to his Muslim followers when asked who is my neighbor and it would now be known as the story of the Good Muslims instead of the Good Samaritan had Christians not corrupted the Bible to make themselves look good. (Of course I am being full on sarcastic.)
The problem with winning an argument against Muslims is that if they feel they have lost the argument you can’t be sure they won’t come back later and try to kill you – because they may know the story of how Muslims are supposed to treat their Christian neighbors. (Not being sarcastic.)

Muslims, on the side of a losing argument, feel that they have two options:
1. Leave islam
2. Kill the person who won the argument.
Both of the options resolve their cognitive dissonance.

Bishop Amon Sadiiki was apparently a well-informed debater who was able to effectively expose some of the numerous errors in the Islamic texts, history, theology and legal system. But Sharia law has a CANONICAL death sentence for anyone who says something ‘IMPERMISSIBLE’ (haram) about Islam.
What is ‘impermissible’ is decided by the mullahs, because Islam is also an HONOR/SHAME CULTURE. For instance, a statement about Islam’s death sentence for blasphemy, while perfectly true, brings SHAME upon the Muslim community, so the TRUE STATEMENT about killing blasphemers must be suppressed by killing the messenger!
Muslims now have no way to defend Islam except for KILLING DEBATERS, since debating them exposes the intellectual problems within Islamic beliefs.
As modern research into Islam continues apace, Muslims see their best arguments FOR Islam progressively destroyed by this modern research. Much of the research into foundational Islam has been done in the last 30 years.
Muslims admit they have no intellectual defense in favor of the STANDARD ISLAMIC NARRATIVE (SIN) which is seen by the Muslims themselves to be full of holes, gaps and blunders.
The only recourse remaining for Muslims to defend Islam is the brutal one of assassination. This leads to scandal in our modern community and leads to even more people learning of the canonical Sharia law death sentence for blasphemers. That is exactly what the mullahs want to keep secret … what they pretend doesn’t exist … the death sentence for blasphemy.

If I tell a muslim fellow that I think his religion appears very violent and he then turns around and attacks me very violently for saying this then I ask the question…. Is he being a good muslim by doing so ?.
This awful action against this Bishop in Uganda rather sums up the answer to my question.
I was in Kampala Uganda in 1976 when Idi Amin, a muslim, Big Daddy the people called him, was the President, a mad man for sure, but his muslims were not killing Christians in those days as they were all living in dire poverty.
