The Executive branch of our government in the U.S. is supposed to enforce the laws passed by the Legislative branch. What law requires the President to establish a Disinformation Board and gives him the authority to make the rules and regulations for it? For that matter where are the rules and regulations for the Board? I would like to read them.

The US constitution’s First Amendment is SPECIFICALLY against the creation of such an office of information control.

I think the law they are using is HR 3359 which created the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). This agency is supposed to make certain that all information distributed throughout the various divisions of our government is reliable and correct with regard to combating acts of terrorism and we do not get fooled by disinformation by a foreign power. I do not think the law gives them the authority to monitor information distributed by non-governmental entities – unless (and this is a stretch) it can somehow be tied to combating terrorism. This is why they so need to label the Jan 6 protesters “terrorists” or other people who dissent from their views as “White Supremacist terrorists.” Some people in Congress are realizing this and so has Biden’s White House so they have placed the “Disinformation Board” on pause until either Congress clarifies the law or the White House can figure out how to twist the law even more to its advantage. Congress needs to do something and I hope it will.

And he is quite correct in his being “fact checked”–even though what he said was completely factual.
And they went to someone who considers David Wood “depraved” for opposing Jihad terror for their “fact check”. Just appalling.
And while it is good that this Orwellian board has been ‘paused’, we need to remain vigilant, though–they will likely try again, and will be a lot more subtle next time.

I recently watched a documentary regarding the plot to kill Hitler, The Valkyrie Legacy. After the failed attempt and for years after the men responsible were considered traitors by the German people. Today they are considered patriots. If they had succeeded they would have saved millions of German lives. The takeaway from that is just because they call you a traitor at the time doesn’t mean that you will be called a traitor forever. As information comes to light and people understand the reality, things change.
I still believe that what we have in USA leadership is a complete fraud and that comes from talking with everyday Americans in many locations al over the country.
It is finally becoming clear to us what has been going on for a long time. We are just getting started so now is the time for all good Americans to ratchet up the heat on these anti-Americans. When you think you have pushed enough, push even more.
