Palestinian Authority incited riots, violence that led to death of Al-Jazeera journalist

The Palestinian Authority incited riots, violence and jihad terror against Jews over the Temple Mount, and then blamed Israel, as usual. It has always been a deeply religious war for the Palestinians, despite the propaganda and habitual accusations against Israel. The latest round resulted in the death of an Al Jazeera journalist. Now Al Jazeera accuses Israeli forces of deliberately killing Shireen Abu Aqleh.

The world absorbs continuous Palestinian lies without question, while ignoring history and the indoctrination of the Palestinian population which drives the jihad, presented as a Palestinian “resistance.” Take, for instance, an Israeli journalist who uncovered what Palestinian youths believe: one youth stated outright that “every Jew must die, the Koran says so.” He was certainly right about what Islam teaches about Jews, and the Palestinian Authority, along with its sheikhs and other religious leaders, does the rest.

“The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews.” (related by al-Bukhari and Muslim). Sahih Muslim, 41:6985

The Palestinian Authority has been in an ongoing religous war against Israel. The original Hamas Charter identified Hamas as the “Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine” and states that its Muslim members must “fear God and raise the banner of Jihad in the face of the oppressors.” The Fatah Charter and PA original Charter also state the goal: to obliterate Israel.

Mecca and Medina are holy to Muslims; Jerusalem is holy to Jews, and has monumental historic and religious significance for them. Jerusalem is mentioned nowhere in the Qur’an. Al Aqsa Mosque (a big sticking point) was built as a declaration of supremacy and conquest on the Temple Mount in 705, decades after the traditional date given for Muhammad’s death. It is time the world wakes up to this fact.

The Palestinian Authority’s calls for violence were taken seriously by a population among which martyrdom is glorified. Then Israel is blamed for Abu Aqleh’s death, whatever the facts of the case really are. And the incessant propaganda has encouraged the spread of virulent antisemitism, going far beyond Israel.

Palestinian Media Watch has documented the incessant Palestinian Authority promotion of terror in recent months. Among the many examples, Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor on Islam and Head of the PA Islamic Courts, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, called on Palestinians not to be lazy during Ramadan but to follow the example of Islam’s Prophet Mohammed who started wars during Ramadan. These calls for violence were heeded by Palestinian terrorists mostly from the Jenin region who attacked and murdered Israelis, rioted violently, and shot at Israeli security forces, leaving 19 Israelis and foreigners murdered by Palestinian terror.

Today, Israeli forces entered Jenin to make more arrests and Palestinian terrorists attacked them and opened fire. During the exchange of fire, Al-Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh was shot and killed. While it still has not been determined who shot the bullet that killed the journalist, it is clear that the Jenin terrorists who started the gunfight, as well as the Palestinian Authority leaders who have been calling for violence and terror, are the ones who are directly responsible for the death of Abu Aqleh and all the other deaths and injuries resulting from their terror and terror promotion.

A video of the terrorists in Jenin firing indiscriminately presumably in the direction of Israeli soldiers has been released. An unidentified terrorist says that an Israeli soldier was hit and fell to the ground. However, in fact no soldiers were hit or injured. Did one of the Palestinians shoot the journalist, see her fall, and think he shot an Israeli soldier?

The PA took the journalists’ body and has refused an Israel offer to do a joint inquiry to determine the circumstances of her death, so the truth may never be known.

However as written above, ultimately when fighting Palestinian terror in the streets of Jenin or Hamas terror missiles fired from Gaza, the terrorist who are responsible for 100% of the violence bear 100% responsibility for all deaths and injuries…..
