If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and the alarmists in the city do not stop, we will indeed urge you on against them, then they will be your neighbors in it only for a little while. Cursed, they will be seized wherever they are found and killed with a slaughter.” (Qur’an 33:57-61)
Abu ‘Afak was a poet who was over one hundred years old, and had mocked Muhammad in his verses. Muhammad asked his companions: “Who will avenge me on this scoundrel?” One of them murdered Abu ‘Afak in his sleep. Likewise with another poet who mocked him: the poetess ‘Asma bint Marwan. Muhammad on another occasion cried out, “Will no one rid me of this daughter of Marwan?” One of Muhammad’s companions, ‘Umayr ibn ‘Adi, went to her house that night, where he found her sleeping next to her children. The youngest, a nursing babe, was in her arms. But that didn’t stop ‘Umayr from murdering her and the baby as well. Muhammad commended him: “You have done a great service to Allah and His Messenger, ‘Umayr!” (Ibn Ishaq, 674-676)
Then there was Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf, another poet whose crime was mocking Muhammad. Muhammad again asked his companions: “Who is willing to kill Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?” One of the companions, Muhammad bin Maslama, answered, “O Allah’s Apostle! Would you like that I kill him?” When Muhammad said that he would, Muhammad bin Maslama said, “Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab).” Muhammad responded: “You may say it.” Muhammad bin Maslama duly lied to Ka’b, luring him into his trap, and murdered him. A video of a Nigerian policeman supporting the lynching of Deborah Samuel, a female student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto State, by her colleagues over alleged blasphemy has been obtained by SaharaReporters.
According to the yet-to-be-named officer, those who are not in support of the action of the mobs are Kafiri (unbelievers).
“Anyone insulting the prophet should be killed and anyone questioning about that is a Kuffar (unbeliever),” he said in Hausa language.
SaharaReporters had reported how Deborah was killed and burnt by her colleagues for allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad (SAW)….

Yes, this man understands Islam PERFECTLY and has concluded that he has a duty to put Sharia blasphemy law into effect. He is thus a ‘good’, practicing Muslim.
The proof of that is the following.

That declaration is consistent with Mohammad’s own divinely-ordained conduct in ordering the assassinations of many critics and poets, such as an elderly man (Abu Afak), and a mother of five children (Asma bint Marwan) (see above, answering-islam links).
Therefore, it cannot be claimed that the killing of those who speak against Islam represents a misunderstanding of the Koran and other Islamic texts.
This Nigerian policeman understands Islam’s blasphemy law PERFECTLY … it permits him in uniform or out of uniform to murder critics of Islam as a vigilante.

Seems like the sort of sane, balanced, fair minded and moderate type of man to give the authority that is given to police officers. Usual hideous, barbaric attitude that Muslims have towards all non-Muslims. Nigeria sounds like a sewer of a country like all Muslim dominated countries are. Appalling, but I imagine this is very common with Muslim police. And why wouldn’t it be? This is orthodox Islam.
And note that the Christian student murdered didn’t “insult the prophet”–she gave thanks to Jesus for doing well on her exams. But this was enough to get her murdered by Muslim students–and for thugs like this policeman to cheer their murdering her.

it “means” exactly something else… depending…
Whenever a bible passage can be used to support someone’s belief and bigotry, that passage is clear, stands on its own, and does not depend on any other
context or special interpretation.
Whenever someone points out any of the hundreds of bible passages showing god literally ordering or approving killing of children, raping of young girls, proper
treatment of slaves, death penalty for minor infractions, and genocide, the proper response is
(pick one or more of the following):
1. It is taken out of context
2. Can only be understood by special understanding of context
3. The OT is not relevant
4. God can’t be understood by humans
5. This is selective quoting
6. The quoter doesn’t understand the bible
7. God didn’t say that, he was “misquoted”
8. God meant some special application, such as to Israelites or
ancient clergy, etc.
I hate Islam with the best of you, but if you try to tell me that Christianity doesn’t have a history of atrocities, then you’ll be lying.
