January 6 wasn’t an insurrection. There was no advance planning. There was no leader: Trump called for a peaceful protest outside the Capitol, not a storming of the Capitol. The protestors were let in to the Capitol by guards. They were unarmed. And on and on. The “insurrection” narrative is political opportunism and an attempt to criminalize lawful opposition.

ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger accepted a judge’s findings Friday and said U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is qualified to run for reelection despite claims by a group of voters that she had engaged in insurrection.
Georgia Administrative Law Judge Charles Beaudrot issued a decision hours earlier that Green was eligible to run, finding the voters hadn’t produced sufficient evidence to back their claims. After Raffensperger adopted the judge’s decision, the group that filed the complaint on behalf of the voters vowed to appeal.
Before reaching his decision, Beaudrot had held a daylong hearing in April that included arguments from lawyers for the voters and for Greene, as well as extensive questioning of Greene herself. He also received additional filings from both sides….
Raffensperger wrote in his “final decision” that typical challenges to a candidate’s eligibility have to do with questions about residency or whether they have paid their taxes. Such challenges are allowed under a procedure outlined in Georgia law.
“In this case, Challengers assert that Representative Greene’s political statements and actions disqualify her from office,” Raffensperger’s decision said. “That is rightfully a question for the voters of Georgia’s 14th Congressional District.”
The challenge was filed for five voters in her district by Free Speech for People, a national election and campaign finance reform group. They allege the GOP congresswoman played a significant role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot that disrupted Congress’ certification of Biden’s presidential victory. They had argued that put her in violation of a seldom-invoked part of the 14th Amendment having to do with insurrection and makes her ineligible to run for reelection….

That was a despicable low move of on the part of those leftists in their scheme to attempt get Taylor Green banned from the ballot for supporting the January 6th 2021 so called “insurrection.”
First , those American patriots in was planned event by the pro -Trump rally at the US Capital was mean to be a peaceful protest about the very important issue of a rigged national election fraud/ hoax and not an “insurrection” in any genuine ,valid sense of the definition of that word.
For those American patriot protectors were unarmed and had no intention and made no attempt to ‘overthrow the US government.
Second,that those leftist s tried ” despicable low move” to get a Conservative rejected from the ballot is really no surprise that keeping within the unconscionable character of those who make up the left wing.

MTG should be picked by President Trump or Ron DeSantis as his running mate in 2024. It’ll be fun to see Liberal’s collective heads explode (again), and on top of that, if a situation like 2020 repeats in 2028, then MTG can act differently from Mike Pence and follow the constitution, instead of following orders from the Senate ‘parliamentarian’ (a bizarre job title for a legislative body that is not a parliament)

What ‘insurrection’?? No one’s life was threatened. No brought a hand grenade, a rock-launcher or even a pea shooter!
No one declared that what they were doing was an attempt to topple the government! And, by the way, the government in question at the time was still Trump’s administration. They were certainly not trying to topple that, but to retain it by not certifying a stolen election..
The GOP politicians gave in because they did not yet have the proof of electoral meddling which is now available … namely, that ‘mules’ and ‘managers’ procured and bought many thousands of illegal ballots and stuffed ballot boxes.
All of this is now confirmed by GPS tracking of ballot-box ‘MULES’.
