Somehow I don’t think the National Guard will be called out in response to this one. And if it were, the media and its leftist allies would respond with the same hysteria that they did to the efforts to stop the Black Lives Matter attacks on Washington D.C.
#ShutdownDC is planning to block streets adjoining the Court to prevent the justices and their staff from reaching their chambers. Organizers acknowledged their operations go beyond constitutionally protected activity, and they referenced the likelihood of arrests and clashes with law enforcement during a Tuesday night briefing the Free Beacon monitored.
“One of our goals would be to expand the current political crisis by shutting down the Supreme Court,” one of the organizers said. The group planned the blockade for Monday, June 13, a day when the Court will likely hand down opinions.
#ShutdownDC is concocting its ploy amid continued concerns over the Supreme Court’s security and that of the justices following the unprecedented leak. The Department of Homeland Security’s intelligence arm circulated a memo in May warning of a sharp rise in threats to the High Court. Law enforcement is investigating violent threats from pro-abortion extremists against members of the Court as well as the Court building itself, the memo said.
The Tuesday night briefing included more than 60 activists and was led by four or five organizers, some of whom concealed their identities. The presentation included a detailed “tactical” plan for blocking access to the Court’s underground parking garage, which is the primary entry and exit point for employees and justices.
#ShutdownDC is part of the whole shadowy nexus of anti-Trump and radical environmental groups that has operated alongside AOC’s DSA, unions and assorted lefty groups and establishment organizations. ShutdownDC was linked to the Jane Fonda environmental protests. It’s one of those groups that’s involved in pretty much any significant lefty D.C. protests. So this goes right back to the entire radical activist complex. Will they be held accountable? Not under Biden, obviously.
But this is an attempt to interfere with the functioning of not only a court, but the nation’s highest court, and the culmination of the work of the entire judicial branch, to intimidate and prevent them from issuing a ruling.
If that’s not an insurrection, what is?
So where’s the National Guard, the months of hearings to determine what people in the Biden administration know about this, and the yearly anniversaries?

I can think up a couple of things that could be done to squash their plans and leavethem foaming at their collective and evil mouths.
Probably no arrests, but schumer and pelosi should be held accountable as should any who show up to block streets and prevent people coming and going from the Court Building. schumer and pelosi stood together while schumer loudly made threats against Justices he named, and said they would “reap a whirlwind.” and nothing happened to him or her for the threat and egging on the crowd.
If there is any law left in DC, or any Justice, there will be arrests.
There are things that those who are charged with protecting the Justices can do that I would like to enumerate, but the bad guys are more likely to rad and alter the course of events. But, there are things that can be done, and they are very simple. Perhaps those guys are smart enough to think of them and od them.

Pretty sad. Of course any violent protests should be stopped. Anyone who encourages, plans or partakes in such an attack on the basic institutions of a country should be held to account. What institution is more basic than the Court of last resort? Personally I believe it’s treasonous and if the law of treason won’t cover it I think those laws should be amended to do so.
If such acts as are suggested here as being planned actually do occur they would certainly be in the same category as January 6th and perhaps a step beyond. Escalation. What will the next escalation be?

Protesting the government policy through peaceful assembly is protected by the First Amendment.
However, threatening or intimidating Supreme Court justices is forbidden by law.

Abortions will always be available in the US. This is really about convenience and Leftist anger at not getting their own way and not receiving blanket approval for elements of their lifestyle.
