How long will it be before identity politics backfires on the Biden Administration? It may already be starting.
Right before the election, the Democrats embraced Black Lives Matter (BLM), because they were friends of mutual convenience. Biden ignored BLM’s hooliganism as the organization broke COVID lockdown rules, destroyed public property, caused personal injuries and deaths, and destroyed historic monuments and American businesses (a large number of visible minority businesses), all while screaming “racism.” Never mind black-on-black crime.
It’s an extremely telling request that BLM would call for an end to policing, as what it really represents is hatred and anarchy.
Black Lives Matter dismisses the fact that blacks are being held slaves in Muslim countries (Algeria, Mauritania, Sudan, Libya), as the group smears police as a “white supremacist institution’ rooted in ‘slave patrolling’” — also ignoring that a high number of blacks and other visible minorities are part of that institution. BLM still lives in the days of slavery, ignoring America’s evolution, while its members materially gain from that evolution. Recently, Candace Owens exposed what the BLM organization was really about. She showed up at the multi-million dollar mansion of self-described “trained Marxist” Patrisse Cullors, co-founder of BLM. Biden actually met with Black Lives Matter leaders at the White House to collaborate on police reform last year, knowing full well that BLM wants to end policing. It’s obvious that Biden did this for political gain, given the Democrats’ taste for identity politics. BLM has served its political purpose when the Dems most needed them, and Patrisse Cullors gained handsomely from the charade. But now George Floyd is no longer in the news. The Dems are occupied with other matters: like Ukraine, Iran, a depressed economy, and their new and ongoing obsession, gun control. Biden has now “claimed the reckoning on race inspired two years ago is beginning to fade.”
The BLM/Democrat love-in is indeed fading fast. No matter how much Democrats and BLM continue to be exposed in their respective crooked agendas, they will not hesitate to resume their postures as friends of convenience whenever needed. The two groups are adept at playing Americans for fools and manipulating the race card.
In the meantime, blacks will continue killing blacks and black slavery will continue, both unchallenged by BLM.

The radical activist group Black Lives Matter railed against the “white supremacist” institution of “policing,” decrying its roots in “racism” and “slave patrolling,” while attacking politicians who support “our killers,” in a series of tweets Thursday following President Joe Biden’s signing of an executive order on policing reforms.
In the wake of the president’s signing an order intended to improve accountability in policing, the official Black Lives Matter (BLM) Twitter account, which has over one million followers, expressed outrage over the fact that policing continues.
“Maintaining a white supremacist institution like policing costs Black lives,” the group wrote. “This continued commitment by politicians to support our killers makes them accessories to our demise.”
In follow-up tweets, the recent policing reforms were deemed ineffective as the very institution of policing is described as inherently rooted in racism.
“Politicians have been protecting systems of policing as if it could magically abandon its roots of slave patrolling and anti-Black violence,” the tweet reads. “Banning choke holds and requiring body cameras doesn’t keep us safe. More money for ‘training’ doesn’t keep us safe.”
According to the organization, Biden’s executive order “willfully ignores the inherently racist origins of policing & advances the same ideas over and over again as if somehow it will magically make old, outdated approaches work.”
“Halfway measures will not save our people from white supremacy and state violence,” it wrote….

BLM actively espouses the tenets of Critical Race Theory (CRT), a hot issue for voters going into the 2022 midterm elections….
Big cities are also continuing to see an upward trend of violent crime in places such as Los Angeles and New York City — both of which defunded their departments and employed soft-on-crime “bail reform” which allows career criminals back on the streets.
However, with a continuing crime wave across America’s big cities, poll after poll after poll has shown that a majority of voters do not support defunding police, with many expressing their belief the policy has hurt public safety and contributed to rising crime.
In response, Democrats have begun to distance themselves from the policies they pushed, at one point even attempting to blame Republicans for defunding police.
More recently, both Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) denounced the idea, with Pelosi proclaiming that defunding police is not a policy of the Democrat party.
In January, Brown University economics professor Glenn Loury lamented the current state of crime nationwide, as he accused BLM activists of having “buckets of blood on their hands” for their role in soaring crime and homicide rates……

I have no evidence, but I must believe that black leaders are being bribed to encourage black loyalty to the Dems.
Since the Dems have NO POLICY that people actually want, the Dem strategy has been and still is to CALUMNIATE all Republicans by calling them ‘racist’.
The Dems do little to help black Americans, the Dems destroy cities where most black people live, the Dems destroy the economy and cause inflation which destroys the lives of disadvantaged black Americans. Why do these people keep voting for FAILURE and suffering? It is as if they want to remain on the plantation!
The black preference of 65% for the Dems shows that they are brainwashed and who could be brainwashing them? Their leaders ?? This surely points to a suspicion of bribery of black leaders.
The exodus of ethnics from the Dems and their migration to the Republicans show that people of various ethnicities are not being duped by the Dem propaganda.

Mortimer, I know you’ve said before that anyone who supports this “political correctness” has to have been bribed. But the fact is that if there were no true believers, then these “leaders” would just be rejected. But the fact is that a large number of people are really calling for this insanity, and not because it has padded their bank account.
Besides, the idea that ideology have no currency at all and that everyone is simply driven by money makes no sense–this is a communist idea. In fact, we see examples contrary to this all the time. Besides money, people are driven by power and fame and other factors besides money.

Well removing policing certainly won’t keep them safe, as has been shown in places like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago, where violence is becoming a crisis and a direct threat to innocent people of all backgrounds, who fear even walking the streets or going to a grocery store.
According to stats, crime, such as burglary and other property crime, has decreased over the last couple of years, but violence
overall has increased.
This could be due to a number of factors, including covid where people spent more time at home, and violent demonstrations against police, which has resulted in the more violent in the community acting with impunity.
Amid calls for the abolition of policing, police have been defunded, depleted, and disenfranchised. Is it no wonder that violence has exploded in communities where police hesitate to do their job for fear of political reprisals.

The police in the U.S. did not come from anything to do with *slavery.* That is just another lie used by those who want to rid the world of White people and any other people who support law and order and common decency.
The police came about to protect the common person, the ordinary citizen against crime. The rich and powerful had their “police” and the common person who could not afford that, had no protection.
Also: the “million’ followers are likely a whole lot less, as the twits in control make up bogus accounts, fake accounts and this has been proven by the exposure of the ***followers*** biden was said to have had which are fake accounts.

Thanks for that link, David–this does not surprise.
Note that there are quite a few up-scale neighborhoods in the Los Angeles area that are predominantly African American–including Baldwin Hills, Ladera Heights, Windsor Hills, and View Park. But most of the people there are hard working doctors, lawyers, and business people–not thugs flogging Marxist revolution.
Whereas she’ll probably be a celebrity in Topanga Canyon.
