New in PJ Media:
If Roe v. Wade can be said to be religious at all, the god it serves is Moloch, the Canaanite deity who demands human sacrifice. But Old Joe Biden, devout and knowledgeable Catholic that he is, would beg to differ. As it turns out, at least in Joe’s addled mind, Roe v. Wade is a profoundly religious document, encapsulating the wisdom of all the world’s great religious traditions. Oh, you didn’t know that? Neither did anyone else.
Biden tried to strike the tone of the careful, cautious moderate, saying: “The idea that we’re gonna make a judgment that is going to say that no one can make the judgment to choose to abort a child based on a decision by the Supreme Court I think goes way overboard.” Abort what, Joe? Abortion advocates have been insisting for fifty years now that an unborn child is just a clump of cells, not a human life at all, and now at this late date, with Roe apparently under threat (although the justices haven’t heard from Antifa yet), Dementia Joe tells us that what is aborted is a “child.” Well, yeah. That’s the very reason why what went “way overboard” was Roe itself, not a decision to overturn this exercise in baseless judicial fiat and restore the right of each state to make its own laws about abortion.
Joe being Joe, he didn’t stop there, but added one of those most whopping lies this career serial liar has ever told: “Look, think what Roe says. Roe says what all basic mainstream religions have historically concluded — that the right — that the existence of a human life and being is a question. Is it at the moment of conception? Is it six months? Is it six weeks?”
Biden says he is a Catholic. He even claims to be a devout, committed, observant believer. He became a U.S. senator before Roe v. Wade was decided. During the entire life of the abortion controversy post-Roe, Biden was in the Senate, and then vice president, and then ostensible president. It is inconceivable that during all those decades, he never learned that the Catholic Church teaches that “human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person – among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life.”
There is simply no equivocation in his own Church’s position on this. The Catechism of the Catholic Church adds: “Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law: You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish.”

Well said. Child sacrifice is definitely forbidden by God. Lessons from Ancient Israel and what happens when practicing it would be a wise thing to consider, especially today when we see war and hear rumors of major war in the horizon. A country at war needs to have the moral upper-hand in order to succeed. Beware, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob doesn’t change. He is furious at any nation that practices child sacrifice.

“This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Listen! I am going to bring a disaster on this place that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle. 4 For they have forsaken me and made this a place of foreign gods; they have burned incense in it to gods that neither they nor their ancestors nor the kings of Judah ever knew, and they have filled this place with the blood of the innocent. 5 They have built the high places of Baal to burn their children in the fire as offerings to Baal—something I did not command or mention, nor did it enter my mind. 6 So beware, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when people will no longer call this place Topheth or the Valley of Ben Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter.” Jeremiah 19:3-6
“Then they made their sons and their daughters pass through the fire, and practiced divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him.” 2 Kings 17:17

If no one knows the exact instant that a human being becomes human we should assume that human life begins at the instant of conception. If we believe that all human beings have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and that a person is innocent until proven guilty we should conclude that a human being is entitled to these rights from the moment of conception all the way to the moment of death. Whether we use the word child, toddler, teenager, adult, senior citizen or EMBRYO we are still talking about a human being. Abortion is the murder of an innocent human being who has been proven guilty of doing nothing.
The only way I will change my mind about this is if you can prove to me the exact moment a human being becomes a human being. Leave religion out of it. Prove it to me scientifically.

I am with you CES, and I am sure you are aware of the following, but I post it to counter the eminent Christian scholars and historians, J. Biden and N. Pelosi (circa 20th-21st century AD).
The Didache (Koine Greek meaning “teaching”) is the earliest known written Christian document directly referring to abortion. The first line of the Didache is “The teaching of the Lord to the Gentiles (or Nations) by the twelve apostles.”
This, and other written early Christian direct teachings on abortion are chronologically listed here:

Great post, Mr. Keyes.
As an Eastern Rite Catholic, I am appalled at the “eminent Christian scholars” Biden and Pelosi. They are “cafeteria Catholics”.

The Bible clearly says that God “sees the embryo.” the “embryo” stage is before the “fetus” stage and that second stage (actually a third named stage) is the one most often used by those who choose murder over life.
biden should not be listened to by anyone. He is a liar and this is one of his worst. Christians know that God holds all life as sacred. God told Noah he could eat the flesh of animals if he first poured out the blood, as the “life is in the blood,” and even animal life is sacred to God.
God decreed to the Jews that they must protect the lives of the unborn when He said what should happen to a man who caused a woman who was pregnant to lose her child. Jesus didn’t cite an age when He told people what would be better for them if they “stumbled” a “little one.”
God told the Jews to rid the Land of those who worshipped satan by throwing their children into the fires.
He also told the Jews that there would be “no abortions (miscarriages)” if they obeyed Him as He was giving them the Law through Moses.
Those who lust for murdering the unborn babies, who advocate it, who riot and threaten for it, and those who then buy and sell the tiny body parts for extra profits, will suffer the same punishment as those who served molech and ba’al.
I read some of the testimony of a doctor who once performed baby killing, but has since stopped doing so. I could not endure reading it all, as he was very graphic as to what is done to the baby, but he also said that the claim of danger to the mother’s life, given so many times as a “reason” to keep women from being prosecuted and to “keep it legal,” is false. He said that performing a c-section is faster and safer than killing the baby…and both mom and baby keep living.
Some woman…maybe a woman, I’m not a biologist…named alcindor or some such, said that if the Court does this, many pregnancies will “become children.” And she is against that.
Supposedly all of these ghouls are all for ‘women’s rights”…but not any of them are for the little girls who would become women if given the chance instead of having their lives taken…in more horrible and painful ways.
Prisoners can’t “suffer cruel and unusual punishment,” but an innocent baby, not guilty of any crime, can be killed in the cruelest of ways.

Yes, the reproduction of human beings follows the law of nature that when sperm penetrates the egg a new life begins. What has this new life done or what can it even do at all that would be deserving of the death penalty except to follow the laws of nature? Okay, I accept that every human being has the right to choose whether or not to have sex but if that act of sex results in the creation of a new human being, the rights of that new human being should also be protected. I don’t care if people have sex as much as they want, however they want or with whomever they want; it’s none of my business. But if by engaging in the act of human reproduction another human being is reproduced then that is in accordance with the laws of nature (even if one does not believe in a deity). I am not okay with condoning the murder of another human being simply for the “crime” of obeying the laws of nature.

I agree. And normal people, even some of those who are in favor of murdering the baby, would see the logic if presented with it as with other things.(not that they would acknowledge)
Such as, we don’t care who buys and drives a car, but when they do so under the influence, they are responsible for any damage they do. If they drive with reckless abandon, and cause damage, they re held responsible; if they speed and are caught, …
There are many areas of life where people can exercise their personal choices. But, killing an innocent baby should not be included in that “personal choice” argument.
The women yell, ‘hands off my body,’ but that is a phrase to use beforehand, if they don’t want to become pregnant; afterward, their body is not the one that should be considered…they should accept responsibility for their actions, even if they give the baby up for adoption.
The Founders recognized the “right to life” and would be appalled at what has been “legal” for fifty years. God is the Ultimate Judge and He said Life is Sacred.

Any ‘Right’ that condones the murdering of sixty four million babies is not a ‘right’; it is a licence to kill. With all Rights’ come responsibilities. The Right to drive, the Right to vote, the Right to carry arms. All granted by law with the expectancy of responsibility or they are taken away from the citizen. The same should apply to abortion.

This is all just playing with words to justify the taking of a human life. These same people will scream at that the top of their lungs to end the death penalty for a human who commits multiple murders but see ending the life of an innocent BABY as just ending an inconvenient side effect of having sex.
