What with the now-paused “Disinformation Governance Board” and recent calls for restrictions on speech from Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, it’s clear that the West is heading in an authoritarian direction, and before too long, if the elites get their way, dissenters will be forcibly silenced.

Leftards want no dissent from their narratives.
They want an ‘Information CONTROL Board’ to ‘plan’, ‘develop’ and disseminate information that is ‘approved’ by the Ruling Party. Only accredited Leftards with a special license from the Ruling Party will have a right to use the internet to post comments. All articles, news and comments on the internet will then be ‘approved’ by the Ruling Party. There will be no dissent.

Leftists want no ‘hate speech’ … that is, except for their own. Daily and hourly leftists rock the internet and the media airwaves with demonizataion, calumniation, vituperation, slander and innuendos against conservatives. But they do not consider hating conservatives to be ‘hate speech’.
It isn’t ‘hate speech’ when Leftists do it … against conservatives.

Not to mention that w/ a new Labour Government in Australia, their equivalents of the Merrick Garlands and the AOCs will now have a field day for the next 5 years
Is Australia as hopelessly lost as New Zealand? I recall not too long ago a great prime minister named John Howard. Not too bright about islam, but at least the policies he followed on restricting immigration served Australia well, while it lasted

Agree about Australia, Infidel. And while it seems you are probably right about PM Howard’s lack of understanding of Islam. But he was staunch against Jihad terror, which was a very good thing.

Australia’s ‘eSafety commissioner’ tells WEF we need ‘recalibration’ of the freedom of speech
………………….
Julie Inman Grant wants to “recalibrate” human rights–which can only mean crushing them. Will Australians push back against this, as Americans have done against the “Disinformation Board”? I sure hope so.
Australia’s “eSafety Commission” is the first of its kind in the world–it surely will not be the last if good people don’t stand up for freedom of speech. Its motto on Twitter is “Empowering all Australians to have safer, more positive experiences online”–without saying that this is only true if you care nothing for freedom of speech.

Why of course Hillary and Barack know what’s best for us infidels and simple minded people. They are smarter than anyone else in the country and should be in charge of our lives. They were born for this and its their destiny to lead the world. Yea RIGHT.
