ISLAMABAD (AP) — A series of explosions shook Afghanistan on Wednesday, the Taliban said, including a blast inside a mosque in the capital of Kabul that killed at least five worshippers and three bombings of minivans in the country’s north that killed nine passengers.
The Islamic State group’s local affiliate claimed responsibility for the minivan bombings.
The Kabul Emergency Hospital said it received 22 victims of the mosque bombing, including five dead. There were no further details on the blast that struck the Hazrat Zakaria Mosque in the city’s central Police District 4, according to Khalid Zadran, a Taliban police spokesman in Kabul.
“The blast took place while people were inside the mosque for the evening prayers,” Zadran said, adding that they were waiting for an update.
The minivans were targeted in the northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif after explosive devices were placed inside the vehicles, according to Mohammad Asif Waziri, a Taliban-appointed spokesman in Balkh province. He said the explosions killed nine and wounded 15.
All the victims in Mazar-e-Sharif were from the country’s minority Shiite Muslims, according to a police official who spoke on condition of anonymity as he was not authorized to give details to the media….
There was no claim of responsibility for the Kabul mosque explosion but it also bore the hallmarks of the regional affiliate of the Islamic State group, known as Islamic State in Khorasan Province, or IS-K….

This and others like it….so many others like it….should be a warning to those who believe if they just apologize, and bow and scrape, and acquiesce, and apologize some more, and make sure no Laws apply to mozlums, and make sure no arrests are made of mozlums and no searches at airports and no questioning, and allowing all kinds of mozlum organizations that are free to preach their threats of death and hatred, and apologize for being ‘phobic’….and never, ever, tell the Truth about it all.

Mosque bombings! Reminds me of the mosque massacres in NZ not so long ago. Dozens of innocent folk gathering to pray, slaughtered by a non-Muslim with more weapons than sense. Driven by racist insanity.
But all this pales into insignificance beside the ongoing slaughter in the so-called Land of the Free, where nobody seems to be free of the menace of fellow Americans with guns. Twenty one dead in Texas, including nineteen children, murdered in their classroom. There’s quite likely been another mass shooting in the few days since – they occur on such a regular basis.
The puzzle is, how could any American condemn others for violent behaviour, without firstly feeling ashamed of their hypocrisy, and secondly, realising how idiotic they appear to the rest of humanity? Racist insanity is no excuse.

This story is about Muslims in Afghanistan murdering other Muslims in Afghanistan.
With the sole exception of Pashtuns vs Shia Hazara, who have slight ethnic differences, these Afghans are likely virtually the same racially. So how is this about racism? (Note that even in the case of the Hazara, the main issue is not racial, but that most Hazara are Shia rather than Sunni).
