Since Robert Spencer has published his new book on the Qu ‘ran it’s fitting to restate this old information
A claim by Islamic scholars as well as jihadists and non-jihadists Muslims is that no one can produce something as beautiful as the Qu ‘ran in the way the words are arranged and thus it can only be of God. This claim should be answered.
First, all someone has to do is examine some of the great works of literature to fine much written beauty. Such as the Greek epic poet Homer with his Iliad and Odyssey and then Virgil who produced the Aeneid has beauty. Even one of the non-Bible books in the Apocrypha called The Song of Three Children is also very beautiful. Thus just because someone sees a work that is written in great beauty doesn’t mean it’s inspired by God.
Second, the scholar Edward Gibbon wrote after an examination of the Qu ‘ran that it is an “incoherent jumble of fable and precept and declamation which seldom excites a sentiment or an idea, sometimes craws in the dust and is sometimes lost in the clouds…” The writer Thomas Carlyle wrote the Qu ‘ran is “A wearisome jumble, crude, incondite [with] endless iterations [and] long-windedness…”
Likewise, the philosopher David Hume was NOT favorably impressed after reading the Qu ‘ran.

Furthermore, the following should be taken into consideration.
Of course, the Muslim who reads the Qu ‘ran will see great beauty in the way the words are arranged.
This is, in part, because of the power of suggestion after being told so many times that the Qu ‘ran is so beautifully written. That’s an old brainwashing method, repeating and being told that same thing again and again. Since he or she is always being told, the same lie will end up believing that lie.
In addition to that, the Imams try to discourage their people from reading other works, such as the Bible, so then they don’t have much or anything to compare or contrast the Qu ‘ran with. Of course, there are some Muslim’s that do read other works, but they are exceptions and they read other things only after they were already brainwashed by the Imams. In short, the Muslims can’t read the Qu ‘ran objectively because their Imams have programmed them to have a strong bias towards it.

I personally find this one of the most absurd defenses of the Qur’an. The Qur’an is hideous, ugly, and tedious.
As you note, the Iliad and Odyssey are more beautiful. The Aeneid is more beautiful. Fragments of ancient Greek poetry is more beautiful. The Bible, especially the King James Version, is more beautiful. Romantic poetry is more beautiful. Christian hymns are more beautiful.
Most pop songs are more beautiful. The average “open mic” poetry reading at the local cafe is more beautiful. Most Hallmark cards are more beautiful.
Actually, just about everything is more beautiful than the vicious Qur’an. Few things that aren’t are Jihad terror Nasheeds and the nastiest gangsta rap songs…

Claims for the Koran’s much-touted ‘literary excellence’ usually come from non-Arabs who learn some Arabic as adults. However, this supposed literary wonder is denied by native Arabic speakers who say ‘Why could Allah not write a better book?’
The Koran is filled with stylistic and grammatical faux-pas that would make junior grades blush for their sheer, obvious gaucherie.
– The Quran is full with major scientific errors. The myth of
scientific miracles is designed to cover up those errors.
– The Quran is full with grammatical and other language errors that
would never be accepted in any other book or from any other writer.
– The Quran has been deliberately wrapped by confusing sound and
visual effects so that it doesn’t look like a normal book when heard
or read.
– The Quran is full with repetitions of stories that have no relevance
to our time, or even to Mohammed’s time. Such repetitions account for
nearly one thirds of the book.
– Some verses are incomplete, while others contain irrelevant
insertions or seem to be completely out of place. It is likely that
the scribes or the people who collected the Quran committed such
errors.
– There is almost no resemblance at all between the Meccan verses and the Medina verses, a fact well known to Muslims. However, the Muslims’ explanations are not convincing. We do not expect Allah to change his style or dialect when Mohammed moves from one place to another. A more logical explanation is that the authors or Mohammed’s sources have changed.
– Humans’ errors of the scribes and the people responsible of the
early collections of the Quran may account for many of its errors.
Some verses could have been included more than once (hence the
excessive repetitions) and some may have been misplaced or gone
completely missing.
The new book by Robert Spencer make it an appropriate time to reiterate that it’s a very important question: “Is the Qu ‘ran the Word of God or is it a fabrication of a man. Thus, is the Qu ‘ran the truth or a fiction and a hoax ?”
The answer is clearly given on pages 145 through 157 in THE ISLAMIC INVASION by Robert Morey in which he wrote a section on the Qu‘ran with its self-contradictions. Just two of the many he cited are the following “The Qu’ran differs on whether a day is a thousand years or fifty thousand years in God’s sight’ and “Who was first to believe? Abraham or Moses [Sura 6:14 versus 7:143]? The above is inconsistent and illogical.
Further, Morey wrote about “The fact that Judaism and Christianity broke up into different sects was used in the Qu ‘ran to prove that they are not of God [Suras 30:20-32. 42:13, 14]. Yet Islam has broken up into many warring sects and therefore cannot be true if the Qu ‘ran is right.”
Moreover, Morey in his book shows many more contradictions and absurdities in the Qu ‘ran, there are and how Muhammad incorporated extra Biblical and Jewish folklore along with pre-Islamic Arabian myth and parts of Zoroastrian and Hindu stories into the Qu ‘ran.
Furthermore, the Muslims claim that “the Qu ‘ran is the direct, literal word of God unmodified in any way by the Prophet who uttered them at the bidding of God.” In addition , in the book UNVEILING ISLAM by Ergun Mehmet Caner and Eethi Caner has shown that the Qu ‘ran was modified in the following account on pages 45. “Muhammad felt the need to improve on the words of Allah, since he changed Allah’s wisdom for his own on several occasions. A hadith tells of the nonchalant emendations of Muhammad:’
On a number of occasions he [a scribe] had, with the Prophet’s consent changed the closing words of verses. For example, when the prophet had said ‘God is mighty and wise ‘ Adbollah b. Abi Sarh suggested writing down ‘Knowing and wise’ and the Prophet answered that there was no objection. Having observed a succession of changes of this type, Adbollah renounced Islam on the grounds that revelations, if from God could not be changed at the prompting of a scribe such as himself. After his apostasy he went to Mecca and joined the Qorayshites.’ Other writers reveal that later Muhammad and his people did go war with the Qorayshites and he personally killed Abdollah. Obviously Abdollah knew too much and Muhammad wanted Abdollah’s knowledge to die with him.”
In conclusion, the Qu ‘ran is not only a fiction, it’s also a hoax.
Even though the above essay was posted before, it should now be added that the last statement of the above that “the Qu ‘ran is not only a fiction, it’s also a hoax.” To put this in a Biblical way. As in from the Bible, it may be truly explained that the Qu ‘ran is a deceptive work of “the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.” Ephesians 14:12.. [N.I.V.]

Nice work Walter, indeed the Koran is a fabrication for sure, Al Fadi showed some photos of original sheepskin Arabic texts, sometimes with words erased and written over i.e. they had alterations and corrections but worse than that there were no diacritical marks which is a huge problem. Without diacritical marks there is no way to be sure that when somebody read the written words at a later time they will reproduce what was originally spoken, Arabic without diacritical marks could have many different meanings. Written Arabic of the time was a work in progress. However I think one verse is translated accurately.
Koran 3:54 Allah is the best of deceivers.

During this interview the Islamic word “Kay-bar” was talked about, however that word is actually spelled.
What word the said means about “a future coming Muslim massacre of the Jews is coming.”
This is a very firm reminder that the scholar of Islam , Brigitte Gabriel ,as well as the founder and head ofthe anti-jihad lobby organization , actforamerica.org , had revealed the in the Middle East , among devout Muslims, there is a saying which is “First comes Saturday, then comes Sunday.”
The meaning of that saying really means “In the future there will coming Muslims elimination of the Jews and after all the Jews are killed off , then will come the elimination of the Christians.”
Sadly Kindle readers couldn’t read it – Amazon likes censorship!
Any author who only sells on the Kindle is very short sighted.

What exactly is the point of this? Simply to try and make money?? The Qu’ran is only of relevance to believers in the Muslim faith which applies to the 5 books of Moses in the Bible to (mainly) Jews. Both publications are a jumbled mixture of stories/lies and exaggerations developed over centuries only applicable to the faithful and believers. The same also goes for ALL religious writing including the ‘New Testament’ All claptrap except to those who seriously WANT to believe is something. ‘BELIEF’ is the operative word throughout.

Unfortunately the Koran is not just relevant to Muslims, it is relevant to everyone because the aim of Islam is to install Sharia over the entire planet by one means or another and it doesn’t matter how many lives are lost in the process, Muslim or Kaffir or Mutard it simply is of no consideration in order to obtain Islamic domination.
Islam invaded right across North Africa and on into Spain before eventually being evicted after 700 years of bloodshed meanwhile the Mediterranean became infested with Muslim pirates who brought commercial traffic to a standstill and raided European shores for white sex slaves to abduct and abduct they surely did, they took an estimated 1.2 million young females back for auction and a horrible fate in pest holes like Tripoli, they murdered everyone they didn’t want.
And this is typical conduct of Muslims down through the ages.

maybe be ready with some pamphlets on ‘What moslems ‘pray”! Their ‘prayers’ are disgusting regarding non-moslems – oh, they adore their ‘god’ that is more easily comparable to Satan, but then they always include the nasties regarding non-moslems.
