As usual, the US Consulate hasn’t the first foggiest idea of what it is talking about. The Qur’an promises paradise to those who “kill and are killed” for Allah (9:111). Ramadan is the month in which Muslims redouble their efforts to please Allah. If Allah promises paradise to those who kill and are killed, he must want people to kill and be killed. So Ramadan would be the ideal time to do this, as it is the month in which observant Muslims try to do more of what Allah wants them to do. So Shari Baloch’s jihad suicide attack is not contrary to the spirit of Ramadan at all. It’s completely in keeping with the spirit of Ramadan.
“Suicide bombing at Karachi university kills 3 Chinese nationals, Pakistani driver,” by Snejana Farberov, New York Post, April 26, 2022:
A blast that was set off by a burqa-clad female suicide bomber ripped through a van on the University of Karachi campus in Pakistan Tuesday, killing three Chinese nationals and their driver, local officials said.
Separatist militant group Balochistan Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the bombing, which also injured a fourth Chinese national and a Pakistani guard.
Karachi police chief Ghulam Nabi Memon said an initial investigation uncovered that a suicide bomber was behind the attack. He said that CCTV footage from the site showed a person dressed in the burqa head-to-toe covering walking up to the white van, followed by an explosion.
Balochistan Liberation Army’s spokesperson identified the alleged bomber as Shari Baloch, also known as “Bramsh,” and shared a photo of the young woman smirking and flashing the “V” for victory sign, Republicworld.com reported.
A statement from the extremist group boasted that Baloch was BLA’s first female bomber, and that the attack marks “a new chapter in the history of Baloch resistance.”…
Hours after the bombing, the US Consulate in the port city of Karachi on Twitter condemned the attack, saying: “This cowardly act stands in direct contrast to the peaceful spirit of Ramadan, and we offer our deepest condolences to the victims and their families and those who lost their loved ones.”…
Baluchistan has long been the scene of a low-level insurgency by armed Baluch groups demanding more autonomy and a greater share in the region’s natural resources if not outright independence from Islamabad.

However, the Pakistani Taliban have also targeted Chinese internationals in the past. Last July, the group — also known as the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan — claimed responsibility for an attack on a bus that killed nine Chinese nationals in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Four Pakistanis also died in that attack.
The Pakistani Taliban are a separate group from the Afghan Taliban, their allies who have seized power in neighboring Afghanistan….

I want them to explain how abrogation works in the Koran with regard to understanding earlier verses in relation to later verses when placed in chronological order of their “revelation” to Muhammad. I think the Koran makes much more sense when a person realizes some verses no longer apply because they were replaced with a newer and “better” verse. Peace towards Infidels verses were replaced by fight them and kill them wherever you find them verses. It’s hard to figure this out because the Surahs are not in chronological order in most editions of the Koran. Anyone who does not know this is either ignorant or lying about not knowing it. Either way the U.S. Consulate looks bad – except to ignorant people.

Seconded, CES.
Yes, the Mecca verses of the Koran v. the Medina verses is a critical issue to comprehend. I’m certain the fool who is now America’s Chief Executive (simply can’t call this highly deficient, mean, creepy, stupid, ignorant, incompetent and mentally impaired life-long hack politician “President”—never have and never will) doesn’t know this but there may be some in the federal government who do know about the abrogation nonsense per the Koran. If they do and still put out rot about Ramadan being a time of peace in the Islamic world, e.g., the retrogrades in the US consulate in Karachi, they are rank liars.
“Peaceful spirit of Ramadan” could be a candidate for the ultimate oxymoron. Another would be “an enlightened Leftist.”

Ramadan has been called the month of JIHAD, CONQUEST and VICTORIES.
The statement by the US consulate is in direct opposition to what leading Islamic authorities say about violent jihad during Ramadan.
Islam’s TOP AUTHORITIES below explain the DEADLY MEANING of Ramadan … out of fasting there flows the deadly violence of jihad … This is pleasing to Allah.
-“The month of Ramadan is a month of HOLY WAR and DEATH for Allah. It is a month for FIGHTING the enemies of Allah and God’s messenger, the Jews and their American facilitators.” – Qaedat Al-Jihad terror organization
– Ramadan “is and has been throughout Muslim history, the month in which Allah helps the Muslims to prevail over their enemies and grants them mighty victories.” (-former Mufti of Egypt ‘Ali Gum’a )
-“The commandment of jihad, which is of SUPREME importance at all times, assumes even GREATER importance during this holy month and gains precedence over all other commandments.” (-former Mufti of Egypt ‘Ali Gum’a)
-“There is a close CONNECTION between fasting and JIHAD, for the former (fasting) is jihad of the soul, aimed at restraining it from sinning, while the second is JIHAD AGAINST THE ENEMIES, aimed at preventing them from spreading “corruption” in the world. Moreover, fasting is a powerful means to PREPARE the soul FOR JIHAD, i.e., to school oneself in obedience, devotion, resilience and endurance, which are the virtues of the jihad fighter that allow him to vanquish his enemies. On Ramadan Allah grants fighters special strength, despite – or rather by virtue of – their fasting. (-former Mufti of Egypt ‘Ali Gum’a)
-“Those who gain MARTYRDOM during the month of Ramadan are DOUBLY REWARDED in Paradise.” (former Mufti of Egypt ‘Ali Gum’a)
-“During Ramadan, the Muslims are especially beholden to protect the sanctity of the Muslim holy places and keep the infidels from “desecrating” or threatening them.” (- former Mufti of Egypt ‘Ali Gum’a)
-“Jihad fighters everywhere! This month of jihad has come with all its blessings and with the double reward [granted to jihad fighters] in its course. Come closer to Allah through the BLOOD OF INFIDELS, do not relent in spilling [their blood], and through [this blood] wipe out humiliation and disgrace from among your Muslim nation! Make this month like the month of the Battle of Badr, the conquest of Mecca, [the conquest] of Shaqhab, and other Islamic victories.” (-Sa’ud Bin Hamoud Al-Utaybi of Al Qaeda)
-““Ramadan is the pious month of ‘Jihad-o-Qital’ (Jihad and killing). Those who attain martyrdom while waging Jihad, doors of heaven remain open.” — Maulana Bashir Ahmad Khaki
–“Men of jihad, this is your festive season, since jihad in a state of fasting has a particularly delectable taste for the believers, especially [when together] with the dignity of the month of Ramadan. How wonderful it is to delight in the breaking of the fast and to TASTE THE KILLING of infidels, to DELIGHT in the sound of the WAILING of tyrants and lowly degenerates, and [in the sound of] the voices of the condemnations on the part of EVIL PEOPLE and their collaborators broadcast on the TV stations… condemning the DEATH of their INFIDEL masters and their servants. [Ramadan] is a MONTH of FIGHTING, of self-sacrifice, of military VICTORIES, of the victory of religion and the HUMILIATION of the kafirs (infidels). The most courageous and finest forays took place in Ramadan: in the battle of salvation – the Battle of Badr – the HEADS of the bravest infidels from the tribe of Quraysh were SENT FLYING, and Allah gave His Prophet and the believers VICTORY [aiding them with] an army of His Hosts…” (Sheikh Aamer Bin Abdallah Al-Aamer)
-Ramadan “… is a month in which the marketplace of JIHAD opens. So seize this blessed month, oh servants of Allah, to perform acts of obedience to Allah, for your REWARD (for killing and martyrdom) is doubled in this month…” (- Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi of ISIS)
-“Ramadan is the month of victory for those who wage jihad for Allah. Transform the month of fasting into a training camp that will aid you in jihad when the time comes. Be prepared, since the Muslims’ victories over their enemies occurred during the month of Ramadan, when the jihad fighters were fasting…” – from website of Muslim Brotherhood
-Fasting accustoms the soul to bearing hunger and thirst with patience, and to holding back desires – so much so that the soul becomes immune to weakness, and stronger under pressure… Similarly, we find that the jihad fighter is able to go for long hours without food or drink while fighting the enemy. Apparently, fasting trains a Muslim in endurance and in tolerating [hardship]…(Hussein Shehata, a lecturer at Al-Azhar University)
-“We call upon those who fast… to remember their brothers, those who wage jihad for the sake of Allah: in Palestine, against the Jews, the descendants of apes and pigs; in Iraq, against the Americans; in Bosnia-Herzegovina, against the crusader Serbians; in Chechnya, against the Russians; in Kashmir, against the idolatrous Indians; in Eritrea, against the Zoroastrian Habeshas; in Somalia, against the arrogant Americans; and everywhere in [the lands of] the Islamic ummah, against those who fight the Muslims.(Hussein Shehata, a lecturer at Al-Azhar University)
-“Allah the Almighty wanted the [Ramadan] fast to coincide with fighting, so that the Muslims would win and deal their enemies a crushing blow that the world would speak of… Allah did not mandate [the fast] of Ramadan so that [we] sit idly and avoid jihad, action, and da’wa for the sake of Allah. The fast is not intended to be an excuse to avoid one’s obligations at work or one’s social commitments. Rather, it is a month of action and movement, of conquests and victories – the month in which most of the defeats of the nation’s enemies occurred.” (General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood Muhammad Badi’)
-“This is the month of might and victory, in which the fasting believers defeat their own [urges], as well as their enemies. Allah decreed that the Islamic nation, throughout its long history, should [experience] momentous events during this holy month…This month is a month of war within one’s soul and struggle against one’s desires. The spirit is the greatest battlefield on which a fighter is trained [to fight] his enemies. If one vanquishes one’s urges, one can certainly vanquish others…(General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood Muhammad Badi’)

Why is there a US consulate in Karachi? If we have to maintain diplomatic relations at all w/ the country that sheltered Osama to the end, as well as most of his top aides (who were captured in various major cities in Pakistan, not in their so-called ‘Wild West’), just have the embassy at Islamabad, and that should be it! One of the main roles of consulates is to issue visas to Pakistanis who wanna come here. Which is the last thing that we should be doing, unless we wanna destroy this country!
Oh, I forgot!

I watched RS w/ David Wood now, and one thing he mentioned about the Baloch separatists was that he supports them becoming independent of Pakistan
Well, RS is one thing, but I noticed that there are a lot of Indians who advocate for India to back separatist movements in Balochistan and Sind in order to weaken Pakistan. It’s appalling that they have learned nothing from the lessons of 1971. That year, Bangladesh, once it became independent, was a great ally of India, since at that time, linguistic pride far outweighed any religious pride. Fast forward to today, and Bangladesh is little more than Pakistan – East (as opposed to East Pakistan that it was from 1947-1971). Jihadist groups are rampant out there, and last I saw, they were even looking at introducing a Ministry of Virtue & Vice – similar to Afghanistan and pre-MbS Saudi Arabia (where that department now has far reduced powers)
There is nothing to suggest that an independent Balochistan or Sind would be any nicer to Hindus or Christians than they are now in Pakistan. It’s not like the Imran Khan government had been encouraging it: it’s just that this is what muslims are – be they in Sind, Balochistan, Panjab or anywhere else
On this bombing, the ground facts are that the Sindis and Balochis hate both the regime in Islamabad, as well as the Chicoms. While one may attribute that to islamic hatred of infidels, which may well be a part of things here, the main issue is the Chicoms, under their Belt/Road scam, were creating massive projects w/o employing locals, and siphoning off the mineral resources of Pakistan as a part of the deal. It’s for that reason that CPEC was unpopular, and so were the Chicoms. Also, on top of all this, Chinese workers, who were also PLA personnel, did have a reputation of being heavy handed while dealing w/ their Pak security escorts
As far as any Pak jihadist hatred of China goes, that’s there as well. While Imran Khan’s government did its best to gloss over Chicom human rights abuses in Xinjiang and the persecution of Uyghurs, the average Paki islamists have been furious about this, and have been whipping up hatred against China. Result being that when such friction happens, they take it out on the only Chinese they see in sight, which are the CPEC workers

Infidel,
Well said. These facts cannot be shoved under the rug.
That reminds me of my history teacher when in 9th grade.
She said: “what is the guarantee that Bangladesh won’t turn against India?” “we have done so much for that country”
Indian Express comes out with some great letters to editor. On occasions, some have lamented that Bangladesh is a lot more closer to Pakistan than India in about 20 years (despite India doing so much for Bangla). BTW, these letters were written much before 9/11.
So, the bottom line is: Islamist nations tend to have bonhomie with each other, islam being the “unifying” factor. Probably fascist nature of islam attracts each other due to common attributes of conquest et al. If green and red together can have an axis of evil why not fellow fascists?

Absolutely right. In my case, 3 of my grandparents were from pre-1947 ‘Bangladesh’, and only the 4th was from W Bengal, where I was from. Both my parents would introduce their ancestry from Bangladesh, even though they left that place before 1947. The problem w/ too many (Hindu) Bengalis is that they dream of a united Bengal, while being oblivious to the treatment that Hindus receive, not just in Bangladesh but Mumtaz’s W Bengal as well. I have complete contempt for that country, but can’t even get my family members to go along
I just wish Algore’s movie scenario of Bengal being washed out by global warming (as it was then called) actually played out, and the sea reclaimed it. They could then have a fun time swimming (or sleeping) w/ the fishes

Pakistan: Muslima murders three, US Consulate says jihad attack ‘in direct contrast to peaceful spirit of Ramadan’

More willful cluelessness.

The consul general may know the ugly truth, but expressing it in public could result in being arrested for offending Pakistan’s fragile “religious” sensibilities.

Pretty plausible.

I’am not a scholar and I can see the danger of allowing a large migration of islamic followers into a christian country, so why do are political leaders not see the danger? I’ve read the Qur’an and it is a little confusing but it didn’t take long to figure out that islam see’s all non-muslim/islamic followers as lower class humans. Infidels are simply tolerated for the good of the islamic follower or they are disposable. No such thing as Diversity and Freedom under islamic rule.
john smith says
Most non-muslims are still clueless to murderess context of the quran, this I don’t have a problem with. What I do have a problem with is, those that govern us are also clueless as to whats in the quran. When the US consulate says, “jihad attack in direct contrast to peaceful spirit of ramadam,” this really does infuriate me. I get so annoyed when I here such a statement. The very people that are supposed to have our best of interests in heart, have chosen to take the side of our enemies, whether it is inadvertently or not, they are traitors.
Everyone in power should make it their duty to know the truth about islam, and if they continue to bury their heads in the sand, islam will slowly but surely continue to engulf us all.
