Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson doled out a lenient sentence to a child rapist for violating probation — and he allegedly struck again during the time when prosecutors wanted him locked up, The Post has learned.
The Biden nominee’s handling of sex offender Leo Weekes’ case emerged in a tranche of court filings and transcripts sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee Friday — just days before the panel is set to vote on whether to report her nomination to the full Senate….
In 2010, Weekes was convicted in DC Superior Court of raping his 13-year-old niece four years earlier. He was sentenced to 16 months in jail and four years of supervised probation and was required to register as a sex offender for the next decade, according to records obtained by The Post.
But instead, Weekes failed to register — lying about his whereabouts by claiming he lived in DC in February 2013 when prosecutors said he was really living with his wife in Temple Hills, Maryland since 2012.
He was hauled before Jackson, then a federal judge in DC, on Feb. 19, 2014 for sentencing after pleading guilty to a charge of failing to register.
Prosecutors asked that Weekes receive a two-year sentence — the low end of the federal guidelines, which ranged up to 30 months — with another five years of supervised release. Weekes’ attorney asked for a maximum sentence of 10 months, plus three years of supervised release….
“I do believe that criminal history is having a disproportionate impact on the sentence that the guidelines prescribe in this particular case in light of what you actually did here,” said Jackson before sentencing Weekes to 12 months, with credit for time served, according to the transcript….

She is sleaze. As bad as the scum she **sentenced** to easy time, short time and apologized to for what he did resulting in him being punished. Lightly so. He should have gotten more and been required to be on that predator list for life.
Too bad the attack wasn’t on her instead of a little kid. She should have to pay for her part in the attack on another child after she let the scum go without real punishment and not holding his criminal “history” against him.
Her nomination and coming confirmation by a cable of fools and evil slime, is a sign that more and more people no longer value the lives of little kids. Of course, they have been showing that since the ’70’s, but now, even those children they can actually see without the aid of medical equipment are in the bullseye. satan is being served with his every evil desire being fulfilled.

There is no way she should have even been nominated. Biden is himself an extremist sympathizer with the ultra left wing ideology and should never be president of the USA.

Recidivism rates are sky-high throughout the system. Most, if not all, sentences are proven to have been too short if there is a reoffence committed especially if soon after release.
It should be noted that he was “charged” with assault and not “convicted” of assault. The ‘charge” was around 2015 and presumably has been dealt with. I assume charges were dropped or he was acquitted.

From Democrats to Disney, from biden to schumer…none of them are doing anything to stop indoctrinating children with the idea that two moms and no dad, or two dads and no mom are normal; that a kid is born a boy but can become a girl, or the other way around; that males who dress up like females in outlandish outfits can come into elementary and pre-schools and show all their parts while reading to the little kids, and holding them on their laps while they continue to show all to the classroom; to allow mozlums to bring in their tiny rape victims and call it “marriage”;

jackson let those who assault and rape kids go easy and free and she will be confirmed because of those who do not value the lives of children or the well-being of the little kids and their emotional and physical development, giving them as prey to the pervs. And the fake pres and his filthy son are pervs who have victimized kids.

I don’t like what I’ve heard about sex education in the schools either. I don’t believe that young kids should even be thinking about all the various sex combinations let alone being taught that every conceivable combination is OK and an option, however far out it may be. BUT I doubt that anyone is exposing themselves to the kids. Where do you get that info?
Also, I am very much against bigamy or child marriages.
That being said, where is your evidence that (1) those who will vote to confirm Jackson are any less concerned about the lives and welfare of children than you are and (2) that President Biden and his son are “pervs who have victimized kids”.
Finally, it may well be that some judges (many of them liberal or, as you say, left) tend to give out lighter sentences than others for the same crime but that doesn’t mean they approve of the offence in any way. There have always been “hanging” judges and judges who are not.
In the case shown above the original sentence was only 16 months and 4 years probation. Personally I would have been inclined to throw away the key so I must conclude that there was more to that rape than what is reported above. He failed to register as a sex offender and that was the charge before Jackson. The maximum penalty was pretty mild too. If Jackson went light it wasn’t by very much and was probably justified when one looks at the original sentence.

Rarely, Judge Jackson does has a record of going easy on rapists, including child rapists. Much of that has been covered here.

I don’t know where you have been the past few years not to know of the so-called transvestites who have been invited to “story time” at various libraries and schools across the country. they are males who wear dresses and spread their legs while sitting in front of little kids, exposing themselves.
Many parents have objected and tried to get it stopped, but the people in charge deny that there is anything wrong with it.
and biden has been videoed putting his hands on the chest of a child, putting his hands elsewhere and sniffing hair. the most recent one I observed showed him with his hand on the child’s chest and leaning down in her face. she clearly didn’t like his “fondling.”
If they confirm his woman who makes apologies to the pervs who rape little kids and doesn’t give them enough time to protect other children, and don’t punish them as much as possible for breaking the laws they are then subject to, then they don’t care about the kids as much as I do. I wouldn’t confirm her and the world would know why.
In some jurisdictions, pervs have to not just register, but report at reg times and any time they change their address. and in some of those, a judge can sentence the one who fails to report changes or breaks the rules otherwise, up to 99 years.
she is way too soft on those who rape children and torture babies. If they senators cared as much as I do, they would not have voted to proceed and they certainly would not confirm her. and if biden cared, he would not have nominated her…but he’s a perv and she’s easy on pervs. Perhaps he believes hunter will someday have a case before the court and she can help him out.

I recall when Trumps pick for SCOTUS was accused of indecent acts as a high school student, the media were having a field day screaming like hysterical bitches that he shouldn’t be sworn in and some even going as far as to say he should be charged with rape.
Now, of course, we have a darling of the left who is obviously, by her own record on the bench, complicit in crimes against children, who gives a mere slap on the wrist to child rapists and on a couple of occasions actually apologized to them for being forced to give them punishment.
So given her horrific record for this we would expect what from the media? At least a piece about her poor record?

And there was commenter on one of the big cable news stations–sorry, didn’t catch which one–saying that Jackson’s record should have no bearing on whether she is confirmed. Not just nuts, but clearly dishonest–would they say this about a conservative justice? OF course not.

Well of course she granted Leo Weekes a light sentence he was a Black criminal. I wonder if a white rapist would have got the same treatment from her. I think NOT. Now reverse this and make her a white nominee and Leo a white rapist who got off easy and the Demo’s would go nuts.
