Why is the U.S. trying to negotiate in good faith with an entity that refers to it as “the enemy.”

First, it should be made clear Those ,appeasement efforts of Joe Biden and his crew are so very foolish many many reasons. one of which is that any concessions given by Biden and his administration will be viewed and sign of weakness of the United States and therefore hostile Islamic regime shall become even more bellicose towards the US.
In other words that “mullah tyranny” will increase its arrogance and make even more demands from America because Biden and his handlers are so very ignorant or subversive way that they handled this subject of taking Iran’s threat’s of revenge for the elimination of their warlord general Qasem Soleimani.
A second reason is that making any concessions for the extermination of Soleimani is that doing so would be seen as a admission of “guilt” for the taking out ,by a drone strike, of that horrible man
For Soleimani was a very dangerous man, so it was right, appropriate , necessary , practical and just to eliminate that violent and deadly Iranian warlord general.

If you believe that giving Iran MONEY or ARMS will change Iran’s leaderships ideology or hate for America you’re clueless. The only thing we accomplish in these negotiations is the giving away of American tax payers money for nothing in return.

Regarding the death of Splemini, the ayatollah and mullahs of Iran as well as the imams of Sunni Islam. have nothing to blame America about for his death.
For according to the Qu ‘ran the Muslim clerics along with others in power in Iran should blame killing of their warlord Solimani of their god ,Allah, since they feel that his death was so very terrible and tragic
By the reading of the teachings of the Qu ‘ran it’s very obvious Allah is responsible the death of their warlord general Soleimani
So the death is actually the fault of the god of Islam , Allah, who only used that drone as his tool to kill his servant Soleimani.
For when getting down to basic Quran theology which is the Quran based worldview the one who is really to blame and is responsible for the death of their “wonderful” general and not the United States leadership under President Trump and the US military.

That violent and deadly man, Qasem Soleimani was a dangerous hostile vicious man who murdered many people using Iran’s military as his tool to do so.
So aggressive and deadly was Soleimani that all his violence and inflecting death did come around back upon him.
Well, let’s put it this way, Muslim clerics do recognize that Jesus was a prophet but not God as the Bible reveals and all genuine Christian pastors teach.
The entire point is if those Muslim clerics are actually sincere and not just giving Jesus and His teachings only lip service “respect.”
Then they should also recognize that their “much loved’ general had it coming to him.
For Jesus taught “All who take the sword will perish by the sword.” Matthew 26:52. [N.K.J.V.]
Therefore taking the teachings of Jesus into account viewed with modern military technology that warlord general of Islamic Iran infected death on other people by military might, so likewise he met his end on earth by the force of military might.
