What could possibly go wrong? Well, let’s see:
“Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of Allah and your enemies…” (8:60)
“When your Lord was revealing to the angels, ‘I am with you; so confirm the believers. I shall cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers; so strike the necks, and strike every finger of them!” (Qur’an 8:12)
“We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve for what they have associated with Allah of which He had not sent down authority. And their refuge will be the Fire, and wretched is the residence of the wrongdoers.” (Qur’an 3:151)
“And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from where they drove you out; persecution is worse than slaughter. But fight them not by the Holy Mosque until they should fight you there; then, if they fight you, kill them — such is the recompense of unbelievers, but if they give over, surely Allah is all-forgiving, all-compassionate. Fight them until there is no persecution and the religion is Allah’s; then if they give over, there shall be no enmity save for evildoers.” (Qur’an 2:191-193)
“They wish that you should disbelieve as they disbelieve, and then you would be equal; therefore do not take friends from among them, until they emigrate in the way of Allah; then, if they turn their backs, seize them and kill them wherever you find them; do not take for yourselves any one of them as friend or helper.” (Qur’an 4:89)
“This is the recompense of those who fight against Allah and His Messenger, and hasten about the earth to do corruption there: they shall be killed, or crucified, or their hands and feet shall be struck off on opposite sides; or they shall be exiled from the land. That is a degradation for them in this world; and in the world to come awaits them a mighty chastisement.” (Qur’an 5:33)
“Fight them, till there is no persecution and religion is all for Allah; then if they give over, surely Allah sees the things they do.” (Qur’an 8:39)
“Then, when the sacred months are over, kill the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them, and confine them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent, and perform the prayer, and pay the alms, then let them go their way; Allah is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.” (Qur’an 9:5)
“Fight those who believe not in Allah and the Last Day and do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, and do not practice the religion of truth, even if they are of the People of the Book — until they pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued.” (Qur’an 9:29)
“Allah has bought from the believers their selves and their possessions against the gift of Paradise; they fight in the way of Allah; they kill, and are killed; that is a promise binding upon Allah in the Torah, and the Gospel, and the Koran; and who fulfils his covenant truer than Allah? So rejoice in the bargain you have made with Him; that is the mighty triumph.” (Qur’an 9:111)
“O believers, fight the unbelievers who are near to you; and let them find in you a harshness; and know that Allah is with the godfearing.” (Qur’an 9:123)
“When you meet the unbelievers, strike their necks, then, when you have made wide slaughter among them, tie fast the bonds; then set them free, either by grace or ransom, till the war lays down its loads. So it shall be; and if Allah had willed, He would have avenged Himself upon them; but that He may try some of you by means of others. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will not send their works astray.” (Qur’an 47:4)
“Quran will be part of moral education: BC Nagesh,” by Shilpa P, Express News Service, April 20, 2022:
BENGALURU: Moral science will be part of the curriculum in schools from this academic year, and it will not be restricted to one particular religion. The essence of all religions, including from Panchatantra, Ramayana, Mahabharatha, Bhagavad Gita, Quran and others, will be part of moral studies. A committee will decide the curriculum and there will be no exams for the subject, said Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh said here on Tuesday.
“Though there is no demand from madrasas or the minority community, parents have asked us to provide regular education to madrasa students, like in other schools, so that they can compete with other children, take professional courses and competitive exams,” he said….

I’m afraid there is *nothing* in the above article that implies that the Qur’an will be taught to Muslims as any sort of cautionary tale.

This from the state that had the hijabs-in-school controversy a month ago, saw the strike by muslims near temples, a campaign against halal and most recently attacks on Ram Navami processions. This education minister needs to be read the riot act for equating the qur’an w/ sacred books like Ramayana, Mahabharata and so on
Take a page out of the northern states and have on hand a fleet of bulldozers. Increasingly, they seem to be the answer to jihad in India: whenever there is a jihadist event these days (since March), authorities use bulldozers to level the properties of those thugs, and confiscate them to retrieve the costs of whatever damage they inflicted by their activities
Black Sabbath says
I have to agree 100% with this and I will recommend The Critical Quran by Robert Spencer as a mandatary reading. In addition to this, The History of Jihad by the same author and The Satanic Versus by Salman Rushdie will make great supplemental readings.
mortimer says
A large part of the problem of ethics in Islam is the translation of the Koran into other languages. They are mostly dishonest. The mullahs know this, but promote the most ‘benign’-sounding renderings of problematic phrases in the Koran, such as wife-beating.
Robert Spencer’s precise translation (NOT a paraphrase) is what is needed to reveal the ‘damage’ to Islam’s credibility that is in the LITERAL MEANING of the Arabic Koran text.

India: Karnakata education minister says Qur’an will be part of moral education in schools
………………
Karnakata–in southwestern India–is 83% Hindu, and just 12% Muslim and a smattering of other faiths. As noted, not even Muslims are demanding this. BC Nagesh is a dhimmi fool.
As for the idea of there being anything moral in the Qur’an, he is an even bigger fool.
mortimer says
The morality of the Koran is dualistic. There is one ordinary rule and then another rule for times when it is more convenient to get around it.
Islam’s opportunistic, convenient ethics turn all Muslims into habitual liars.
Islam is the only religion that boasts that its god is ‘THE BEST of deceivers’.
K. 3:54 “they deceived and Allah deceived and Allah is the best deceiver.”- (khairu l-makirina)
The first caliph Abu Bakr expanded Allah’s mendacity further: ‘By Allah! I would not rest assured and feel safe from the deception of Allah (la amanu limakr Allah), even if I had one foot in paradise.’” – Caliph Abu Bakr (“Successors of the Messenger” by Khalid Muhammad Khalid, translated by Muhammad Mahdi al-Sharif [Dar al-Kotob al-Ilmiyah, Beirut Lebanon, 2005], Book One: Abu Bakr Has Come, p. 99

Walter Sieruk says
For a more full understanding of the actual nature of the Qu ‘ran person need to look back in time before the coming of Muhammad and then the Koran. Back to the First Century AD which was the time of early Christian church. For the Early Christian Church had and now in modern times the Christian church still has the Gospel of Christ, First Corinthians 15:1-4.
Much later, in time, came Muhammad and he gave much information, that many believe to be divine, some of which is said to have been obtained from an angle from heaven. This information was written down on different objects and things Those written words in different objects was then compiled together and then eventually went into the composition of what is now called the Qu’ ran .
The Qu .ran is actually, that is in reality, another gospel, apart and greatly different from the Gospel of the Christian Church. Such a thing was predicted in the Bible. For the Bible does warn about those who will come and offer to people another gospel other than the one shown above, First Corinthians 15:1-4. For it is warned about any other “gospel” in the Bible. For it is written in the Bible “Though we or an angle from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so I say now again, if any man preaches any other gospel unto you than ye have received, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:8, 9. [K.J.V.]
Therefore, the Qu ‘ran is the result of the deception of a false prophet, Mathew 7:15., who may have come in contact with a fallen angle, a demon, So the imams and mullahs who preach it a truth to other are accused of and by God.
