Increasing number of public schools feature secret gender transition closets

The San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus boasted “We’ll convert your children….We’re coming for your children.” They said they were going to convert them to tolerance and knowledge, they said. Yeah, sure, that was it. That was it all along.

“More Secret Gender Transition Closets Discovered in Public Schools,” by Alice Giordano, Epoch Times, April 22, 2022:

They started in colleges, but trans closets—rooms stocked with transgender clothes and accessories for students to change into after arriving to school and back out of before going home—are being discovered in public schools with some indication they are being kept a secret from parents.

In a recent TikTok video, a California teacher implies that the trans closet he started at the high school where he works is meant to be kept from parents.

“The goal of the transition closet is for our students to wear the clothes that their parents approve of, come to school and then swap out into the clothes that fit who they truly are,” the teacher said.

The California Family Council and others eventually confirmed the identity of the teacher as Oakland Unified School District Spanish teacher Thomas Martin-Edwards, who is also the founder of “Queer Teacher Fellowship.”

Martin-Edwards, the teacher who runs the trans closet, is also transgender. He has posted videos of himself in the classroom showing off the stilettos he wears to school….

Amare Roush, founder of The Transition Closet, told The Epoch Times that her organization does support keeping the existence of trans closets at schools secret from parents, because of the abuse she says children often face at home if they disclose to their parents they are transgender.

“We do provide a safe space for kids whose parents are not accepting, because it’s known to help lower the suicide rate,” said Roush who is also a certified advocate for domestic violence victims.

“These kids are going to do it anyway, we just want a way to provide them with a way to do it safely to where they’re not wearing clothes that are too small for them, or doing so in a way that’s going to get them hurt by their parents.”…

“This is grooming,” tweeted one Colorado man, “Police should come to the classroom and arrest whoever the teacher is in this classroom.”…

Marshall University, the University of Arkansas, Penn State, and the University of California are among colleges that have been operating trans closets for years.

  1. What is the meaning of being “truly” who you are? If your body is the body of a male human being then you are a male. A male trying to be a female is NOT trying to be who he truly is. He is trying to change himself into something else.

      • I can’t even prove that I am me but I think that I am me and I think you probably are who you think you are – but please also understand that if I allow you to think you are who you think you are you should also allow me to think you are who I think you are and I can think what I want to think and you can think what you want to think and I’m okay with that as long as you don’t force me to think what you think. What do you think of that?

          Be prepared for a clamp down on writing what you think…the ‘ministry of truth’ has been launched….called board of disinformation, or something like that; through the dhs and the head is a woman who works at the ‘wilson’ institute.

    • The simplicity of nature is *truly* amazing & remarkable. XX chromosomes = female. XY = male. Feel free to do whatever you choose to your body, but chromosomes remain constant & immutable. Hormone replacements, surgery, lifestyle changes can be done/made, but those pesky chromosomes ?????? be changed.

      And, if you stop the hormones, your body chemistry reverts to its original/birth form. You must continue hormone replacement to a̠r̠t̠i̠f̠i̠c̠i̠a̠l̠l̠y maintain your preferred exterior physical appearance.

      Yep, Mother Nature is amazing & amazingly consistant.

  2. The teachers at this high school are dangerous and unfit to teach. That this teacher is allowed to wear stilettos to school is an abomination. What happened to dress codes for teachers? He’s unprofessional.

    • I wonder what subject this teacher is supposed to teach and how any of his helping to turn kids into transsexuals fits in with what he was hired to teach. Is that part of his job description? If it is not he should be told to stop and fired if he does not. His job is to do what he was hired to do, no more and no less. He can keep his sexual preferences and practices to himself, the same way most people do when they are around children, and stick to teaching his pupils (NOT his kids) the subjects he was hired to teach.

        • Okay, I never learned Spanish but I did take a few years of Latin. Don’t Spanish words have a gender the way Latin words do? I always wondered why a rock was masculine and a forest was feminine. I wonder how this transsexual Spanish teacher wraps his head around that. Ha.

  3. Playing around with the sexual identities of children is very dangerous and highly irresponsible. That someone feels that they have the right, let alone the knowledge, to play around with the sexual identities of the young is unforgivable. It borders on sexual abuse. What is even more appalling is that the authorities allow and endorse such behavior.
    Any man who voluntarily goes around wearing high-heeled shoes, when virtually all the women I know are doing their best to avoid wearing them, has a problem — a major problem. He is certainly not in a position to impose his beliefs on identity on anyone else let alone the most impressionable.
    We all have sexual “problems”. We’d hardly be human if we didn’t. What we don’t have is the right to impose our sexual “problems” on others.

Demonstrative of how the entire public educational system in America, pre-K through 12th grade, has become an enemy not only of America but of common sense and moral intelligence in general (ditto for a lot of private schools). And so many colleges and universities in America are also guilty here of rank stupidity and perversion. All of which conveys to all those who still retain common sense and moral intelligence that the entire American educational system, with fewer and fewer exceptions by the year, has become a pedagogical sewer masquerading as some kind of enlightenment.

    Sick stuff. Few things sicker. And, of course, led by the Left, which Left itself is a gigantic mental disorder.

    Western Civilization has been turned upside-down. Time way overdue to right it. That is assuming it is not too late, which I don’t think it is but time is running out. A good start would be an enormous castigation of the culprits or culprits here.

    I am first and foremost referring to the Democratic Party of the USA which is beyond redemption and needs to be placed on the trash heap of history. Please, everyone, realize that the Democratic Party of the USA has now become an enemy of America. Hugely so. No redeeming it. No chance at all. Holy Hell, give up the ghost.

    One thing these imposters miss: There is no universal *feeling* that women have. Many women don’t want to wear dresses or high heels and this is a *personal* thing…it doesn’t indicate how they may feel, as a “woman,” it’s just preferences in clothing. But the males who say they are female, always dress as the way women have dressed for a long time…in dresses; and they wear heels because it is accepted as a female thing…many businesses once insisted that women wear skirts and high heels and some still do.

    But, wearing heels and skirts doesn’t make one a woman. The woman is still the one who can become pregnant, carry the child and give birth. The male has his part in the process, but males do not get pregnant, carry the child inside and give birth. and…there is no such creature as non-binary.
    And it is not going to change because some idiots out there insist on telling lies to little kids.

  9. Why are we working so hard on destroying our children’s lives with this gender crap being pushed by the minority LGBTQXYZ promoters and activist? Our schools already have enough distractions and problems in the class rooms due to lack of discipline and disruptions from student who are three and four years mentally behind the average student in the class. It seems the minority viewpoint is running our schools and our country, rather than the majority.
    If you want to really help our children let the teachers teach those who can learn instead of spending their time BABY SITTING those who can’t.

    While I’am at it Get tough on drug dealers who sell their poison to minors. 1st offense min. 10yrs. in jail, 2nd. offense life, after all they are KILLING a CHILDS life. We should take that serious, not just a slap on the hands.
