Brooklyn: Number of those shot now 10, gas cans found, ‘whole car smelled of gasoline’

At least 10 Brooklyn subway riders were shot Tuesday by a man wearing a gas mask and a green construction vest who tossed a smoke canister in the train car to distract the rush hour crowd before opening fire, officials and law enforcement sources said.

Five of the gunshot victims were said to be critically injured. Details on the nature of their wounds weren’t immediately clear. No fatalities have been reported. It’s not clear what kind of gun was used, nor was it immediately known how many shots were fired.

The smoke canister, and harrowing video from the train, prompted early concerns about possible explosive devices connected to the case, but NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell assured New Yorkers in an early afternoon news conference that there are no known explosive devices on any subway trains in the city at this time.

MTA sources say more unexploded smoke canisters were found on the train where the gunfire erupted, as were gasoline cans, further evidence supporting law enforcement officials’ preliminary view that the shooting was a premeditated attack.

The shooter remained on the loose more than three hours after he opened fire on the train at the 36th Street and Fourth Avenue station in Sunset Park around 8:30 a.m.

Some of the 10 wounded were in the same train car as the suspect. Others were on the platform, authorities said. The train was still moving when Sewell says he donned a gas mask, threw a smoke canister on the subway car floor and started shooting….

    The woman on the train in a previous account, said the guy was wearing “an orange” vest. Could there be two guys wearing gas masks and carrying cylinders and shooting? Or, as in the case of many “eyewitness” accounts during crimes, one of the persons saying the color is wrong?

    mozlums have attacked trains in the years before this…in other countries. I recall biden…when he was a senator and of a clearer brain, sitting on a train and talking about needing more security on trains as mozlum terrorists might attack them as they had…and it was recently, then…the planes in NY
    And sure enough, they began attacks on trains.

    No surprise if it’s mozlums out to force the back to bend to islam’s evil.

  3. Who knows what this attack is all about. But, now that we have foolishly let so many Muslims into all our countries, I know that I, and I bet almost everyone else (since there are so many Muslim terrorist attacks), certainly immediately thought, I wonder if this is yet another Muslim terrorist attack. Especially since it is Ramadan.

    • I have quit wondering. If I’m wrong, it is not as often as it once was. Just about anytime, it’s mozlum related and if the name is not revealed right away, it confirms it. If a White guy, indiswl, does something like this…which isn’t as often as the “left” wants it to be, the name is given as soon as it’s known, and his family is found to be also named and described, etc. but, mozlums get a few days of their id being concealed.

      Perhaps the two who infiltrated and got Secret Service help, were working with this guy and helped him get some MTA apparel so he could fool the train passengers and others.

Most likely a recent convert to Islam who, yet one more time, has gotten matters completely wrong about the benign religion, Islam by name, which is a faith of peace and tolerance (N.B., pay no attention to Islam’s reputed founder stating, per Bukhari Hadith 4.52.220, that “I was made victorious with terror” or that there are 109 verses requiring Muslims to wage war across the Earth “until all religion is with Allah”—Sura 8:39).

    Yes, “little technicalities” such as the two quotes from Islamic scripture I noted above should be as nothing as compared to embracing Islam as an enlightened and tolerant religion. Only a rank Islamophobe would assert otherwise.

    Well, it’s possible this little monster is not a Muzzie, hey, maybe an “enthusiastic” BLM or Antifa supporter. If so, this would be in so many ways a distinction without a difference because hate organizations and belief systems are all a bane to mankind. No exceptions.

    • Surprisingly quickly, as it turns out. The perp is a Black Muslim who ranted about Allah on social media.

If that is another murderous jihad attack, it probably is, that that violence evil and mayhem that this jihadist inflects on the American people is , somewhat, explained by a former Muslim, Ibn Warraq in his book which has the title THE ISLAM IN ISLAMIC TERRORISM . For on page 253 he reveals “Sharia was destined to dominate the world and crush all undesirable elements… Jihad was center, to Islam, which could not have been successful without it.”

    The author further expounds of the writing of a militant Muslim writer, Mawdudi . on page 266 For that jihad-minded Muslim scholar wrote “In reality, Islam is a revolutionary ideology and program which seek to alter the social order of the whole world and rebuilt it in conformity with its tenets and ideas. … ‘jihad’ refers to that revolutionary struggle and utmost exertion which the Islamic party beings into play to achieved this objective.”

    It may be truthfully said what is called the” Lesser Jihad” which is the violent brutal and murdering jihad is very much alive at practiced by many jihadist/ Muslims in this modern world . This lesser jihad is also termed as “The Jihad of the Sword.”

    Still may be a Muslim convert, of course. Often they do not legally change their names.

  10. Prediction: Because this petty monster is black and someone who invoked the fictional Allah, this story will be buried as soon as possible by the MSM. Even RINOs aplenty, e.g., Mitt Romney {OMG, what a disgusting human being}, won’t touch this story anymore than they have to.

    In the meantime, the FBI, the CIA, Merrick Garland, et al. will continue their pursuit for the real threats to America, i.e., white nationalists. Count on it. Nasty parents too aplenty objecting to their 6-year olds being taught about gender differences.

    We now live in a time out of joint. Not only in America but in the West at large. And meanwhile thugs like Putin and Xi will “proffer their wares” with little back-push from most in the West.     And I need no effing crap about how NATO expansion is really at fault. If you are this stupid and uninformed, not knowing that NATO, the greatest military alliance in history for the protection and promotion of freedom, did not kill a single Russian or destroy a single Russian city, town or village, all the while providing protection for sundry Eastern European nations whom Russia has looked upon, a la George Kennan, as vassals or enemies, so control-freakish is Russia whether under Czars, First Secretaries or the wretched Putin, then there is nothing I can do to correct your ignorance.

    Russia never learns, whether under Czars, First Secretaries, a drunk and buffoon like Yeltsin or now an ex-KGB agent who is a killer, a tyrant and a monster. Yes, Russia never learns. So tired of Russia. Almost as tired of this failed state as I am of the Islamic world.

    Man never learns. Islam hasn’t nor will it ever. Will Russia? Probably not.
