Jen Psaki says it’s so they can keep track of their whereabouts. But how likely is it that Biden’s handlers are keeping track of where the migrants are? They just want them in the country, collecting welfare payments to ensure their dependence on the state and their votes for Democrats. Their concern ends there.

With a touch of snark, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed Wednesday that the Biden administration is doling out cellphones to illegal immigrants.
With reports coming from the border that illegal immigrants were being handed devices that taxpayers are forced to purchase, Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked about the initiative at a press briefing Wednesday.
“Our team in Texas is saying that you guys are starting to give smartphones to border crossers, hoping that they’ll use the phones to check in or to be tracked. I — which part of that is supposed to deter people from crossing illegally into the states?” Doocy asked, according to a White House transcript of the briefing.
First came the snarky part of Psaki’s reply.
“Well, I think you of all people — since you’ve asked me a range of questions on this topic over time — would recognize that we need to take steps to ensure that we know where individuals are and we can track — and we can check in with them,” Psaki said.
Psaki then insisted that the cellphones were part of a grand plan by the Biden administration to know the whereabouts of the thousands of illegal immigrants who have been allowed into the country on the administration’s watch and tucked away in communities across the country….

If the price of one was an even 100 dollars, and there are millions of people getting them, how much money is that? Many of the illegals already have cell phones…they’ve been seen using them.
and the terrorists among them get an extra phone so they can use their old one to blow something up.
the gov snoops have been found to be tracking people to whom they did not give phones or computers.
It’s all scam….and psaki expects Mr. Doocy and others to just believe her constant lies and her circling the drain responses.
It’s for an evil purpose. Tracking, indeed. What about the ones they already let loose?
And Gov. Abbott of Texas has the right idea…bussing them to D.C….Whether psaki likes it or not.

Wishing psaki and her evil cohorts could just be switched off and by that, kept from any more shenanigans.

I’d love to know which song you’re referring to! Gov Abbott’s suggestion of bussing them all to Washington is BRILLIANT! Actually since most of these bad actors own multi-million$ mansions in some of our most beautiful cities and towns across the country (San Diego, Martha’s Vineyard, etc.), maybe we could spread them out a bit!

Good grief–I don’t have a smart phone, and I don’t expect the government to give me one.
Remember the “Obama phone”? Even there, one must assume that most of the recipients were at least actual Americans–not so here.
And the idea that this will mean that illegal aliens can be tracked–not that Psaki checked herself when she used this phrase and switched it to “we can check in with them”. Note that now the government has to check in with illegal aliens, not the other way ’round.
And *of course* a lot of these illegal aliens will be swapping these phones, and selling them on the street. and in some cases no doubt using them to plot crimes (including Jihad).
This is just one more giveaway to those invading the US.

the so-called “bo” phone was just a renewal of phone charges being paid for those who were required to have a phone…such as those getting aid for little kids, welfare of other kinds, foodstamps, etc. so the government could call the recipient at regular times to make sure they still needed the assistance, that they hadn’t moved, etc. and so the recipient could call in when they needed to.
Landlines had previously been one way of doing that, but when phone booths were eliminated, and more people had cell phones, it was easier for the gov to provide cell phones…cheaper too, actually in some cases. But they just have basic service, nothing fancy.
but, the person getting the phone had to have an address, social security number, etc. It was not for illegals.

This is absurd , wrong , terrible and outrageous.
Even genuine US citizens don’t revive smart phones or any other type of phone by the government

Why not give them smart phones we give them free air travel, housing, food, medical care and education there phone is the cheapest thing they get from us tax payers. Our political leaders are good at giving away out tax dollars by the billions to foreigns. And what do we get for that NOTHING! But the people in the right places make a nice profit.

My Smart Phone is rather old though its good enough for what I need it to do and have no need to spend 1000 Bucks on a new one, however Old Joe and his merry gang of morons think that people who are in FACT breaking the Laws of America by walking into the country without as such as a Library Card to identity themselves should be handed a $1000 Smart Phone in compensation for their hardship of crossing the Rio Grande and so they can be ”tracked” even though I would need a US Address in order to get a Sim Card whereas, people that dont seem to need a US Address cant easily change the Sim Card for another one, perhaps a Mexican one, keep the old Smart Phone they already have and sell this brand new Smart Phone, issued by the US taxpayer, and sell it in Mexico… Sound like a classic Old Joe Plan…
This current Administration really have to be THE worse since at least the end of WW2… and we have a long ways to go before 2024…
