In India, Muslims some months ago began protesting over school uniforms that did not include the hijab. This demand for special accommodation has now become a pretext for a call to jihad against India from al-Qaeda chief Zawahiri, who, we were told, died in 2020. His death turns out to be yet another indication of the untrustworthiness of the establishment media.

Al Qaeda chief Ayman Al Zawahiri, in a video released on Tuesday, spoke on the hijab controversy in India and asked Muslims in the subcontinent to fight the perceived assault on Islam “intellectually, using the media and with weapons on the battlefield”….
In an almost nine-minute video released by Al Qaeda mouthpiece As-Sahab media on Tuesday, Zawahiri showered praise on Muskan Khan, the Karnataka student who raised slogans of Allah-hu-Akbar after being heckled by a right-wing Hindu mob shouting slogans of “Jai Shri Ram” this February. Zawahiri said that her “defiant slogan of takbeer” as she challenged “a mob of Hindu polytheists” had “emboldened the spirit of Jihad” and had reawakened the Muslim community.
The video, in fact, starts with a clip of Khan taking on the mob, followed by Zawahiri’s address which for the entire duration of the video talks about just this issue. “She has unveiled the reality and unmasked the nature of the conflict between the chaste and pure Muslim Ummah and the degenerate and depraved polytheist and atheist enemies it confronts… May Allah reward her greatly for imparting a practical lesson to Muslim sisters plagued by an inferiority complex vis a vis the decadent Western World. May Allah reward her for exposing the reality of Hindu India and the deception of its pagan democracy,” Zawahiri said….
In a message to the Muslims in the subcontinent, Zawahiri said, “We must stop being deceived by the mirage of Hindu democracy of India, which to begin with, was never more than a tool to oppress Islam. We must realise that in this real world there is no such thing as ‘human rights’ or ‘respect for the constitution’ or law or other such nonsensical conjectural ideas.”
According to Zawahiri, it was exactly the same scheme of deception that the West had employed against Muslims, “the true nature of which was exposed by France, Holland, and Switzerland when they banned the Hijab while allowing public nudity”. “The enemies of Islam are one and the same, those fighting the hijab of Muslims in Egypt and Maghreb are the same opportunist thugs… writers, journalists, even hired turbans who vilify the hijab and the Islamic shariah. It’s a war on Islam, its core doctrines, its laws, ethics and etiquettes,” he said.
“Our Muslim Ummah in the Indian subcontinent, our battle today is a battle of awareness, a battle of discerning illusion from reality. We must understand that the way out is by holding on to our Shariah, uniting as a single Ummah, from China to Islamic Maghreb, and from the Caucasus to Somalia, a united Ummah waging a concerted war across several fronts. We must gather around sincere scholars and fight our war ideologically. Intellectually… using the media… and with weapons on the battlefield against the enemies of Islam,” he added….
The hijab row has prominently figured in propaganda literature of some global terror groups. Last month, the propaganda outlets of both the Islamic State and Al Qaeda had the issue on their covers. IS-associated magazine Voice of Hind had carried a cover titled “The Daughters of the Companions” on the issue. Previously, AQIS had already talked about it in its latest issue of Nawa-e-Ghazwa-e-Hind, an Urdu magazine brought out by it….

Note also his claim that democracy “oppresses Islam”–because anything save oppressive Shari’ah law doesn’t allow the full horrors of Islam to be enforced.

Of course, islam’s “laws” are all against the real Laws and islam is totally without “ethics” and “etiquettes.” They don’t allow personal choice, in anything; they murder those who refuse to bow to their evil; they steal, they lie and bear false witness against others…as in pakistan where so many are slaughtered for made-up charges of ‘blasphemy”; they call filth “holy,” they shed innocent blood; etc.
It is not “ethical” to lie, steal, threaten, rape, and murder other people.
The so-called “etiquettes’…spitting in food, putting poisons in food and drink, putting fecal matter in food served to non-mozlums, preying with foul buns in the air in the streets and broadways, gorging on food after dusk while attempting to force others to do without even a drink of water during the day,…and so much more..
The “core doctrines,” are all on display by the group osama bin laden formed, al queda…which means “core.” We know what he did, what he preached, what he wanted, and his replacement is the same.

I’m not so sure, somehistory. The West remains mostly still asleep and even many in power who have some idea how awful Islam is (most in power of course still don’t) are not ready to take it on fully. I’m not certain what polities and elements it will be that will go after Islam in a full-out war. Rather, I think that more and more exposure to Islam by non-Muslims in Western nations will only make a greater percentage of Westerners wary of Islam, incrementally having it slide into more and skepticism and scorn—hopefully and eventually to the point that Islam will be looked upon much as the KKK is, or Nazism, or Marxism (the last of course outside of academic circles, the MSM and many left-leaning political parties in the West which are too stupid and too ignorant to realize how awful Marxist tenets are).
Hope you and yours are doing well, somehistory. We certainly agree on how malevolent Islam truly is but, right now, I don’t see an all-out war on Islam. Perhaps you are right and I wrong. Time will tell. It always does.

Thank you, Wellington. Yes, I do believe we agree on just about everything, and only the one thing where we don’t…at least, not completely…is what causes me to **know** that the war is coming. On what date, I cannot say. At what “hour” I don’t know.
But, I feel sure that it is. and, yes, time will indeed tell us all.
I am about as well as can be; have been doing some paintings in acrylics and having some fun with that. My eye doctor told me that the portrait I did of him (in oil) looks just like him and so I have some reasons for a little happiness in these distressing times.
I hope the same for you and your family. Hang in there. Things are gonna’ get worse, before they improve, I’m afraid.

The Jews were conquered by the Babylonians and many were taken captive to Babylon. The city of Jerusalem was attacked and the Temple destroyed; but, they were promised that the captivity would only last 70 years and they would be released to go back and rebuild Jerusalem. that all happened just as promised.

True, Somehistory. But right now this about Muslim schoolgirls wearing Hijab works for them. Once the most pious Muslims are in power, as with the Taliban and the Islamic State, that’s the end of school for girls.

Not just that, it’s not like the school in question here where the hijab was not the uniform was teaching islamic stuff. Either her jihadi dad should have sent her to a madrassa, or if she was genuinely islamic and her sole job was to grow up and become the tilth of some beardo, then just stay home 24/7 w/ her hijab
