Twitter blocks Babylon Bee for naming Rachel Levine its ‘Man of the Year’

“Truth is not hate speech,” says the Babylon Bee’s Seth Dillon. Gee, where have I heard that before? We used to say it all the time in defense of our work against jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women. The social media giants’ war against the freedom of speech today is based on actions against “Islamophobes” in years past.

Twitter locked the account of a right-leaning parody site, The Babylon Bee, after it awarded Rachel Levine, the transgender Biden administration official, the title of “man of the year.”

The Babylon Bee story was a reaction to USA Today’s naming of Levine, who is US assistant secretary for health for the US Department of Health and Human Services, as one of its “women of the year” last week.

Twitter says it will restore the account, which has more than 1.3 million followers, if the Bee deletes the tweet, but Dillon says he has no intention of doing so.

“We’re not deleting anything,” Dillon tweeted from his personal account. “Truth is not hate speech. If the cost of telling the truth is the loss of our Twitter account, then so be it.”…

Twitter cited its policy on “hateful conduct,” which states: “You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.”…

      • The Y chromosome isn’t as absolute as thought, there are a small population of females with Y chromosomes so there are other influencing factors (genes) in determining embryonic sex in some cases.
        What could be more conclusive in determining sex is that almost exclusively only females pass on mitochondrial DNA in humans, and obviously only females can give birth so faux females aren’t ever going to produce an egg or pass on mitochondrial DNA at any stage in their life.

        • Interesting points. There is also the facts that a transgendered ‘woman’ cannot menstruate and a transgendered ‘man’ cannot produce sperm. Reproductive capacity is surely the deciding factor which is how nature designed it.
          There are some lower species especially in the fish species that can actually change sex but it is not possible in higher mammals.

  2. If one cannot describe a person’s cognitive deficiencies, i.e. Joe Biden, then the public is left in darkness. This is just like refusing or denying the existence of little Hunter’s laptop which the Malstream News did in 2020. The Babylon Bee makes clear that their website is one that makes fun of people and stupid ideas through the use of satire.

    It seems that the old adage about a lot of truth in jest cannot be tolerated by the left.

  3. as far as their *rules* about what can’t be done , “promote violence, harass, etc.”…the Bee did not violate these.

    the twit makes money off of those who have accounts there; therefore, all honest truth-tellers should have at it and all can be banned.

    Hooray for Mr. Dillon. For telling the truth…this slime, what’s his ugliness, levine, is no more woman than the mailbox at the end of the street…and for refusing to cave in to the twit’s demands to delete.

    levine doesn’t even qualify for being called a “man.” If he was really, he’d own-up to the lies that got him to where he is. and then admit this is a falsehood for attention and position.

    Idiots everywhere and being nominated to make decisions about the life of everyone in America…including the unborn and newly born and all the way to death’s door, those incarcerated, about to be and never have been, and **she** can’t define the word “woman.” Perhaps **she** is not the Black ‘woman’ biden thought her to be.

    If a human embryo has no place to grow and develop and find nourishment, because there is no organ in the person’s body to accommodate this process, the person is not a woman. Yes, some women may be born without this organ, or may have it removed, and they may no longer feel “whole” or complete as a woman. However, this still does not alter the fact that this ugly creep could not carry a child, even with modern medicine and the implanting of babies who have begun life in a dish in a lab.

    “he” needs to be replaced with a real man or real woman due to his position of responsibility and his lack of proper intelligence for that responsibility.

  12. Has anyone ever asked this Rachel Levine to provide a definition of “woman” and to explain the difference between a man and a woman? This Levine must know or else Levine would not be telling everyone that Levine’s sexual identity is female. In other words how does Levine know that Levine is a woman? (I’m trying not to use pronouns.)

    • Since men do not really know how women feel and women don’t really know how men feel, I have wondered ever since this garbage began, how could a person born male even begin to believe that how he felt was *female* or born female, how would she know *male* feelings?

      Much of what is responsible for the way a person feels is determined by hormones that affect the workings of the brain.
      A newborn knows hunger, but has no word for it; the same for needing diaper change, etc.
      But until someone actually feels a certain thing, they don’t really understand the feeling.
      So, an unborn baby is constantly wet and doesn’t feel any discomfort by being submerged; but once it begins to wear diapers, the feelings about being wet change drastically.

      So how would this levine creature have any idea how it feels to be a woman? levine can put on a dress, women’s undergarments, and allow levin’s hair to grow, but that’s pretty much the extent of it. Kind of like someone who never even attended med school, pretending to be a doctor in a movie, or putting on a costume and pretending to be gozrilla…that person doesn’t really know the feelings of either…doctor or monster.

      • Yes, it’s puzzling to me how a man can look at himself in a mirror and see that he has the body of a man and still “feel” that he is a woman without concluding that his brain is messed up. Then again, I do see the problem that if your brain is messed up you may not be able to realize that your brain is messed up – so it would be up to other people to let you know that you have a problem. The question then becomes: should a person with a messed up brain be put in charge of things that are important? Well, I guess we will find out the answer to that once Joe Biden gets done being President.

        • I wonder how many people have messed up brains nowadays? Like why was that swimmer guy standing proudly with the medal he won in the female swim event not booed off the stage?
          Since when was a handful of whackos and misfits more powerful than the majority? Or did the majority happily go along with this entire social travesty being inflicted on everyone?

        • What makes a “woman” feel like a woman? How does it feel to be a woman? One must actually **be** a woman in order to **know** how it feels to be a woman.

          Some women like, and feel the need to sew. Some like and feel the need to cook. some women love caring for children and feel a strong need to do so.
          Others like the feeling that comes when they solve math problems. Which of these is really *feeling* like a woman?
          Some like to wear makeup, high heels and have their hair done in salons.
          Others never wear makeup, love tennis shoes and do their own hair in very simple styles…such as ponytails.
          Which of these really **feel** like a woman?

          levine has absolutely…and will thomas neither… no idea how women *feel.*

        • If being a woman were just to depend upon how a person feels then there really is no such thing as a woman – or a man. There are just people who can be whatever they say they feel like being. However, that would definitely put an end to women’s sports – anyone could compete in any sport and those who are the strongest would almost always come out the winners. As a result things would go back to the way they were before we had women’s leagues in sports. That seems like a step backward in civilization to me.

          Also, yes, this Rachel Levine has no idea of what it feels like to be a woman – just an idea of how it feels to have long hair with a perm, polished fingernails, how it feels to wear jewelry and a dress over women’s undergarments. In all truth he is really a man who likes to dress up and pretend to be a woman – a transvestite – and he should be called by that term and not by the word “woman.”

          And yes, the world has a whole lot of people with messed up brains these days – either from drugs or from a lack of discipline in the home or from some sort of mass psychosis.

        • Yes, a woman is defined by her biology, the body parts she has that are different from the male gender.

          If a male claims to be a woman, then that male must have the body parts that are biologically female…and he doesn’t, no matter what he says he “feels.”

          And these males who like to dress up as women do, say they “feel” like a woman. Which is totally stupid because they would have to be a woman, with the DNA that says they are female and the body parts that women have.

          A long time ago, not long after DNA became so important in criminal cases, it was found that the person running the tests…without being told from which gender the sample came…could, when the tests were complete, tell if the subject was male or female, the race, eye color, etc.

          so, no matter how this levine says he feels, his DNA says male and that is what he is. and an ugly one. levine would have made a hideous female had levine been born female with the DNA to prove it.

          Thinking of it this way:
          A guy who has climbed Everest might compare the “feelings’ on the climb to another situation, but someone who has never climbed higher than a molehill, would sound silly saying he felt like he had just climbed to the summit of Kilimanjaro because he couldn’t possibly have any reference point, no experience, with that feeling..

          Anyway, “feelings” is how all of these idiots claiming womanhood…for whatever advantage they may see…begin their faking it.

      • I have never been very good at making excuses for people who may have been dropped on their heads. I remember when I visited the museum at the Belleek Factory in Ireland, some of the dishes were actually stamped “made for the loony bin”. Some people are just plain nuts and should not be humoured to the point where others make absolute fools of themselves for going along with their charades.
