1. Putin is over 60, one day he will die, maybe next year,maybe in 20 years.
2. Then WAIT it out till he dies, don’t risk atomic bombs from Russia.
3. Use your best diplomats to put pressure on everybody to get a peace agreement as quickly as possible. Because an analysis of a war with Russia that went nuclear

Republican and Conservative leaders don’t have the imagination, the ability,the desire to organize mass rallies demanding an END to the WAR ESCLATION and in favor of peace. Their followers don’t have the fervor, the passion.

Produce from farms goes through several transports, to and from processors, and finally arrives at a distribution center where it then ships to some retail outlet like a supermarket. Each layer adds an additional transportation cost, now aggravated by soaring fuel cost.
Politicians typically are so far removed from the physical foundations upon their lives rest that they have no concept of the unintended fallout of simple-minded decisions about energy.

I just watched that Tucker segment, and that was long. It’s one thing that we are not only buying oil from Russia now, but even during the Trump administration, when we were supposedly energy independent and exporting, we bought something like 460k barrels from them. Also, if 2 years ago, it was a shocker that 97% of our prescription drug ingredients came from China, we now know that the bulk of our fertilizer comes from Russia. And here we were, thinking that trade w/ Russia was at a minimum, and thinking that we can do w/o any Russian imports
Tucker made good points, particularly about the 2 renegade senators McCain and Graham telling Ukraine that their fight is our fight. Something that only a president gets to say, and neither Obama nor Trump ever told Ukraine that. This is not to rip on Ukraine: it’s pointing out how such statements and moves kept riling the Russians until it got to this invasion. And there was Kamala Harris welcoming Ukraine into NATO, even though that was the red line that Russia had drawn. If you wanna do that, first fill up Ukraine w/ NATO troops and then announce it
I do think that the US dollar won’t be the world’s reserve currency before too long as Tucker pointed out, and at that point, it’ll be interesting to see how easily Congress can keep passing trillions of omnibus bills once that happens: the currency will be about as valuable as that of Zimbabwe or Uzbekistan

Doomer, I don’t want to go to war with Russia either, and hope we don’t.
But the idea that the world should let Putin and every other thug invade and kill whoever they want to because they will die some day only emboldens him and every other dictator in the world. Should we have let Hitler do whatever he wanted because he would also have died some day?

Given that our leaders have sought a one-world financial system, don’t the major sanctions, such as blocking Russian access to SWIFT or Visa and Mastercard blocking Russian transactions endanger the very concept of globalization? It’s one thing to say to an oligarch that he can’t come here, but blocking international trade is another. I wonder if we will revert to a pre-1989 system, where we had trading blocs. Communists and their allies traded with one another and Western countries did the same. Except in exceptional cases, neither side traded with the other.
Putin is talking about nationalizing foreign-owned factories in Russia. The death of the NWO and globalization.
