American imam Ibraheem Al-Hoori said in a Friday sermon at Masjid Ahlul Quran Wa Sunnah in Queens, New York that men are leaders over women, that husbands run the marriage and household, and that it is an act of religious worship for women to be subservient and obedient to their husbands. He explained that men are looked down upon today, that they are “scared to talk like this,” and that “feminist men” try to “gather the women” when they speak in mosques because women have money. Al-Hoori also said that there are women who are oppressed throughout the world, and that the solution to this oppression is to practice Islam. The video of the sermon was uploaded to the mosque’s YouTube account on March 4, 2022.
Ibraheem Al-Hoori: “Look at the movies today, making the men [look] like idiots, lowering us, in other words, you being a man, that is something bad today. You having your point… You speaking and living your life, and conducting your family as a man should – that’s looked down [upon] today. He shouldn’t act like that. He should be a little more easy. “No you are the man, you are in control. You are the leader. Who has given you that right? Allah. […] “That is the proper place that Allah has given the men. Who runs the household? Who is in charge? Who is the one who runs this marriage, runs the house, so on and so forth? It is the man. […] “‘Men are the maintainers of women, the leaders of women.’ What… ‘Because Allah has made on superior to the other.’ From what… Allah has raised them in rank and virtue over women. […] “‘The righteous woman, is the obedient woman.’ By Allah, men today are scared to talk like this. There are men coming up to the pulpit, feminist men – they are men and they are feminist. Why? Because they are trying to gather the women around them. They get on the pulpit, and they want to gather the women, because the women – that’s money. “They gather the women, they want to speak… [They say:] ‘Oh, the women…’ We know that the women have been oppressed in certain places, but the solution to their oppression is practicing Islam. […] “Being obedient to her husband, after her father or guardian has given this woman in marriage, being obedient to him and honoring him, aiding him, and servicing him – yes, that is religion for her and worship. […] “We read the Quran and we see that this was something that was happening even in the time of Pharaoh, may Allah’s curse be upon him. What would he do? ‘Slaughtering your sons, and sparing your women.’ He would slaughter… He would do what? He would slaughter the male boys, and he would take the women for servitude, to serve him. By Allah, it’s like the same thing today. “The men are not being slaughtered, in other words, being killed, but their character and positions are being slaughtered. And the women are being what? They are being used to service the governments. They are being used to service the economy. They want the woman to be single and by herself, go out and work. They don’t really care about that woman’s rights. They want her to go out and work and make that money. It’s all about money.”

Nowhere in the NYC Imam’s screed is there a word about loving a woman. All he talks about is the obligatory servitude of women to Muslim men because “Allah” conveniently revealed it to Muhammad.
A Quranic marriage has very little luster in a world of opportunities for women. It was born in an era of survival to protect women as property.
Imagine the joy an educated Muslima must feel about the prospect of being “given” to a guy she might not want and “being obedient to him and honoring him, aiding him, and servicing him.” One would suspect that “servicing” actually leads the list.
The NYC Imam probably chose this topic because some congregants are whining about Muslim women refusing to marry them. The women must be so overwhelmed by the loving prospect of servitude and beatings that during fainting and swooning they are unable to say, “yes!”
And then, bizarrely, the Imam segues into Pharaoh who he accuses of doing what Muhammad’s raiding hordes also did, killing off defeated men and stealing the women. Talk about tone deaf.

I saw many women on the local market in Saudi Arabia begging for money. They were covering their faces, and just sitting on the ground like stones under the scorch of the sun hoping somebody took pity of them. I guess, they did not have any man to feed them and they were not allowed to work under the sharia law, so they had to beg. After being divorced by their men, those women would have no way to earn a living if they were originally poor.
For me, they were even more saddening than the female beggars in my country (or other non sharia countries) because at least in other countries, the female beggars are free to interact with strangers. Once, a beggar even said to me something like “oh no, you again” (LOL) because I had never gave money to her (she probably made more money than I).
Islam does not protect women nor help women, it is exactly the opposite direction. Islam makes women helpless and must depend on men, allowing men to oppress them, and dump her like garbage when the women are no longer useful.
4:20 But if you want to replace one wife with another and you have given one of them a great amount [in gifts], do not take [back] from it anything. Would you take it in injustice and manifest sin?
Muslims can replace their wives at will just like that, and not taking back the dowry (or anything has been given before) is considered a virtue according to Allah. Not even a tip is necessary according to Allah. What a super evil and moron teaching.

Then, as Westman notes, “temporary marriage”–prostitution by another name–is rife in Dar-al-Islam. It is most commonly performed *by Imams*, and is most common among Muslim religious students and among those Muslims on pigrimage. Quite disgusting.
Then, homosexuality is also very common in the Muslim world, so long as it takes the form of pedophilia and same sex rape intended to humiliate–Muslim clerics have endorsed the latter. What they *really* hate, and react murderously to, is any consensual gay relationship. Sick stuff.
