Alasiri/James said about one of his planned jihad massacres: “This incident is the first in a series of incidents to come in a plight to defend and propagate traditional Islam in its purity. We are not extremists, radicals, or terrorists. We are only servants of Allah.” One of the members of his jihad group, Jamiyat ul-Islam is-Saheeh, explained that they were robbing gas stations as “part of a jihad against the U.S., particularly against American oil companies who are stealing from our countries.”
Were Alasiri’s meth sales also part of his jihad against the U.S.? Jihadists have used drugs to fund their efforts for years. Years ago, in his study of the Taliban, journalist Ahmed Rashid reported: “Abdul Rashid, the head of the Taliban’s anti-drugs control force in Kandahar, spelt out the nature of his unique job. He is authorized to impose a strict ban on the growing of hashish, ‘because it is consumed by Afghans and Muslims.’ But, Rashid tells me without a hint of sarcasm, ‘Opium is permissible because it is consumed by kafirs [unbelievers] in the West and not by Muslims or Afghans.’ This seems to have been a common view among the Taliban. Another Taliban named Khaled asked, ‘Who cares if heroin is wreaking havoc in the West? It doesn’t matter; they aren’t Muslims.’”

SANTA ANA, California – An Orange County man was sentenced today to 188 months in federal prison for selling nearly four pounds of methamphetamine while he was on supervised release following a 2009 terrorism conviction.
Ahmed Binyamin Alasiri, 45, a.k.a. Kevin Lamar James, of Garden Grove, was sentenced by United States District Judge Cormac J. Carney. Judge Carney also sentenced Alasiri to 24 months in federal prison for violating the terms of his supervised release, a sentence that will run concurrently to Alasiri’s 188-month term.
Alasiri pleaded guilty in October 2021 to one count of distribution of methamphetamine.
About one year after being released from prison and while serving a term of federal supervised release, Alasiri sold methamphetamine to a buyer on three occasions….
Alasiri is on supervised release after completing a 16-year federal prison sentence for conspiring to levy war against the United States through terrorism. Alasiri’s co-conspirators committed numerous armed robberies of gas stations to raise money for attacks Alasari planned on U.S. military operations and Israeli and Jewish facilities in Southern California. Alasiri completed his prison sentence in September 2019….

Selling drugs to Infidels is not a problem in his mind because it’s simple (for a simple mind). Infidels are on the lowest level of life there is and what happens to them is of no concern. It’s part of his religion.

Yes GI – prisons in the West are breeding grounds for Muslim conversions – “if you convert to Islam we will protect you” plus they do get special privileges, such as this:
“A UK prison has agreed to give Muslims their own cells after they complained about sharing with other inmates. They were said to be unhappy at praying and eating near non-Muslims at Birmingham’s Winson Green jail.”

All too true, Eleanor. Muslims in prison often get better food–Halal food from restaurants, rather than meals cooked in the prison–time off work to pray and meet with Imams, and their own cells not shared with roommates.
Then, as you also note, there is often pressure and threats of violence from Muslims to weaker or more isolated inmates if they *don’t* convert to Islam.
Most prisons don’t even seem to be trying to put a stop to this–some even encourage Muslim preaching. Utter madness.

Well islam is a perfect religious following for criminals, it reflects. the gang mentality. He’ll feel right at home in prison amongst his fellow gang members.
