‘Islamophobia’ industry silent as China begins ‘corruption’ investigation of official who promoted respect for Islam

“In a signal of Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s resolve to push ahead with the country’s aggressive ethnic assimilation efforts,” China has launched “a corruption inquiry” into senior official Wang Zhengwei, “who was previously an influential advocate of Muslim culture.”

The silence is deafening from Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, the United Nations, and other “Islamophobia” pushers, as is their apathy toward the treatment of the Muslim Uighurs in China. That’s because Islamic supremacists focus their energies on Judeo-Christian democracies, despite nonsense talk about accepting the “people of the book.” Who could forget the response across the Islamic world over French teacher Samuel Paty’s beheading after he insulted Islam by showing Muhammad cartoons to his class? His “blasphemy” was condemned, not his beheading. Even Grand Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayyeb of the Cairo-based Al Azhar (the most preeminent religious institution in the Sunni world) weighed in.

Wang Zhengwe is not being officially charged by China. However, “party discipline investigations, which are often used to punish officials who step out of line with the Communist Party’s priorities, can be more wide-ranging than police investigations.” So his career and his reputation are as good as dead.

Muslims will not mess with China, no matter how abusive the Communist regime is toward them. They only infiltrate, subjugate and attack weak Westerners who actually respect their human rights. To Islamic supremacists, Western infidels are inferiors and dhimmi status must ultimately be imposed upon them.

TAIPEI—China’s Communist Party has authorized a corruption inquiry into a senior official who was previously an influential advocate of Muslim culture, according to people familiar with the matter, in a signal of Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s resolve to push ahead with the country’s aggressive ethnic assimilation efforts.

Wang Zhengwei, a member of China’s Muslim Hui minority and currently a vice chairman of China’s top political advisory body, the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Congress, is under investigation by the party’s internal disciplinary watchdogs for abuse of power and corruption, the people said.

The investigation was prompted by concerns that Mr. Wang had promoted “unrestrained Muslim culture” and encouraged religious extremism when he served as chairman of his home region of Ningxia in China’s northwest and later as head of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, the agency in charge of implementing ethnic policy, the people said.

No formal criminal charges have been announced against Mr. Wang. Party discipline investigations, which are often used to punish officials who step out of line with the Communist Party’s priorities, can be more wide-ranging than police investigations, and the results aren’t always made public….
