Shaun King is an influential “human rights” activist who served as a pastor, founded a church and is a writer-in-residence at Harvard Law School’s Fair Punishment Project. Newsweek featured his views about the Ukraine, which is testimony to his influence. He is also questionable in character and origins, but that doesn’t matter because he’s woke. This “champion of the poor and disenfranchised” who lives like a king perpetuated the Palestinian delusion and used the Ukrainian crisis to do it.
His appalling comparison is compounded by the infinite number of other such attacks against the State of Israel. It should be needless to say that the Palestinian “resistance” against Israel bears absolutely no resemblance to the Ukraine resistance against Russia. The Palestinian “resistance” is really a jihad war against Israel. The Palestinian leadership makes no effort to disguise this, but the world still generally believes in the victimhood status of the Palestinians, who have been trying to obliterate Israel from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea since the day of Israel’s founding. Even prior to that, they made numerous attempts to keep Jews out of their own ancestral lands. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Husseini, was a key player in this effort before 1948.
There are recordings of the mufti broadcasting from Berlin to the Arab world in Arabic, in which he says, “Kill the Jews wherever you find them – this is God’s will.”
On an anniversary of the Balfour Declaration just over five years before the birth of Israel, the Grand Mufti organized a protest in Berlin that drew thousands of Muslim immigrants in Germany. This is what Husseini said at the protest:
26 years ago the Jews received the Balfour Declaration so they could build a national Jewish homeland. The British betrayed the Arabs and Islam by supporting the Jews. Jews are selfish. They think they are the chosen people and that all the other people of the world are meant to serve them. The Jews are the enemy of Islam – they are the ones killed the prophet Mohammad!…The Jewish British minister [Benjamin] Disraeli bought the Suez Canal, thus paving the way for the British to conquer Egypt. And Algerian Jews helped France occupy Algeria. …The Arabs – and especially the Muslims – must expel the Jews from Arab countries.
To this day, the same mentality persists, and the same antisemitism against Jews continues. The only difference is that it is now packaged in propaganda, lapped up by the Left and presented as a “human rights” issue against the “oppressive” State of Israel.
“Israel is a constant source of threat vis-a-vis peace in the Middle East and the whole world. Since the liberation of Palestine will destroy the Zionist and imperialist presence and will contribute to the establishment of peace in the Middle East, the Palestinian people look for the support of all the progressive and peaceful forces and urge them all, irrespective of their affiliations and beliefs, to offer the Palestinian people all aid and support in their just struggle for the liberation of their homeland.” ~ The Palestinian National Charter
The Covenent of HAMAS states:
‘The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinguished Palestinian movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine.’ …Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.’
As the people of Ukraine suffer a brutal invasion by Russia, the people of Israel have suffered and still suffer a brutal jihadist incursion that persistently denies them the right to live in peace in their tiny homeland and the right to defend their country; meanwhile, Shaun King et al perpetuate jihad propaganda.
“Ukraine Resistance Like Palestinians Fighting Israel, Shaun King Suggests,” by Scott McDonald, Newsweek, February 27, 2022:
Civil rights activist Shaun King didn’t cast the first stone in the debate over who’s right and who might be wrong in the war between Russia and Ukraine. King, however, stoked fiery opinions while comparing Ukrainian nationals fighting for their homeland to Palestinians fighting to protect themselves against Israeli attacks in the Middle East.
During the third full day of Russia’s attack on Ukraine, King asked his social media followers if it was OK to now see revolting Palestinians in the same light as Ukrainians defending their home turf.
“I just wanna be clear on something … it appears it’s now publicly acceptable to take up arms, make & use Molotov cocktails, and take any measure possible to defend your literal home & homeland from violent occupying forces & invaders. Right? OK. (Notes to self for Palestine),” King tweeted.
King’s tweet came Saturday during the third day of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. While women and children fled Ukraine, the countrymen took up arms—some by choice and others by order of the government for all men aged 18-60 to remain in the country to fight tooth and nail.
The fighting folks of Ukraine have used a myriad of ways to thwart Russian aggression, from traditional weapons to improvised methods….

Talcum X also didn’t miss out on the opportunity to pluck his “racism” harp when able-bodied, male MENA students were expected to wait while women and children went first.

‘Civil rights’ activist Shaun King compares Ukraine resistance to ‘Palestinians fighting Israel’
…………….
Just disgusting false moral equivalence from Shaun King.
This witless fool has said that white men are terrorists. He hasn’t said whether he includes himself in this…
