“Tell me you hate America, without telling me you hate America.”
The Biden administration is still fighting congressional efforts to stop the importation of Iranian oil. In a surreal exercise, Biden expects the rest of the world to sanction Russia even as we keep buying Russian energy products. And if that’s not enough, the former Mayor of South Bend is down with Iranian oil.
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Wednesday that “all options are on the table” during a discussion about oil prices after MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle asked if President Biden would consider “working something out with Iran.”
Do all options also include the 25th Amendment?
Biden will get oil anywhere and from any of our enemies… just not from Americans.
While Biden gives meaningless quotes about Russia and Ukraine, the Russians are negotiating an even worse version of the Iran Deal that Biden is expected to sign on to.
The Russians may be getting kicked out of the Paralympics and the cat shows, but Putin is still in the driver’s seat at the White House
The rest of it, the hollow saber-rattling, the sanctions, and the propaganda are a show. The reality can be seen quickly enough if you follow the power and the money.

We are led by imbeciles.
Jim says
The Biden regime is not going to strengthen US energy production. It is under the control of far left climate change ideologues. There is not going to be any pragmatic policy as long as they are in power. That means giving Putin, Iran, the Muslim world, China all the opportunities they can. We can forget the patriotic rhetoric of the SOTU speech. He said he wanted to control illegal immigration and secure the border. The opposite of what he and his handlers are doing. We can simply forget anything he and his party says.
CogitoErgoSum says
Yes, I should have said we are led by liars and imbeciles.

Doesn’t it look like Biden’s gang is going to trade Israel’s security for a new nuke deal and some oil?

If you cannot fix a pot hole as Mayor you qualify as Transportation Secretary in the dim wit biden regime. The democrat party is where the unqualified seek employment.

Gas hit $4 per gallon here today.
How about where some of the rest of you are?
tgusa says
Gas here was around 2.40 a gallon under Trump. It is now approaching 4.50 a gallon.

GreekEmpress, as you know the San Francisco Bay Area has some of the highest gas prices in tbe nation, and we just topped out over *$5 a gallon* here for the first time:

Even though we don’t drive, gas prices still heavily effect our cost of living here.

My car has been in repairs since the 3rd of February, and I’m not getting it back until next Tuesday. I did have a loaner rental, but that ran out last week, so I’ve been w/o a car, and just using Lyft to go to work. As a result, since the last time I refueled – 2 weeks ago – I have no idea what gas prices are
I guess it will be a sticker shock next week when I finally get my car back and fill her up

Sorry to hear about your car, Infidel.

Biden’s Handlers Won’t Open Domestic Production, May Buy Iranian Oil
………………..
Just appalling stupidity.
Not only is buying from our enemies madness, but do these leftists *really* believe that places like Russia and Iran have better environmental standards than does the US? Just nuts.
libertyORdeath says
Another step towards WWIII.
The axis powers of WWII have nothing on the growing axis of power between China, Russia and Iran.
Infidel says
Precisely what I have been saying. That Russia + China is far greater than Germany + Japan ever were
My only difference w/ you – the third member of this axis is Turkey, rather than Iran. Iran can barely threaten the likes of Iraq and Bahrein. Turkey, otoh, has been flexing its muscle, claiming Mediterranean resources well outside its territorial waters, and bullying Greece and Armenia. Only thing I wonder – whether they’ll actually have the guts to act against Russia in the Black Sea, as President Zelanskyy seems to be expecting?

Giving aid and support to our enemies is TREASON.

“My only difference w/ you – the third member of this axis is Turkey, rather than Iran.”
Turkey, a NATO member, completing the axis with China and Russia.
How is that handled by the rest of the NATO members?
Infidel says
Only they know! They have no mechanism for removing a member: the member would have to leave on its own
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
Yes.
But any member of NATO can withdraw on its own, so there is a possible workaround:
All members except Turkey could simultaneously withdraw from NATO – and form a new alliance without Turkey.
OLD GUY says
Sadly our President has never been a leader of anything other than campaigning for political office. Biden can not make a decision on his own, he has always followed the advice of his political advisors based on what’s good for him and his political career. He’s a puppet of the wealthy patrons that support him.
Bought and paid for should be his campaign slogan if he were honest.
