Guilty pleas in exchange for life sentences could bring to an end the long-running case at the war court, which was set up by the George W. Bush administration and has been mired in pretrial proceedings focusing on the C.I.A.’s torture of the defendants. Nearly a decade after the men were arraigned, the military judge has set no trial start date.
No deal is expected soon. But guilty pleas resulting in life sentences could force the Biden administration to modify its ambition of ending detention operations at Guantánamo Bay and instead rebrand it as a military prison for a few men.
In an earlier, failed attempt at such talks during the Trump administration, the accused plotters demanded that they serve their sentences at Guantánamo, where they are able to pray and eat in groups. They specifically did not want to be sent to the supermax prison in Florence, Colo., where federal inmates are held in solitary confinement up to 23 hours a day.
The five men are accused of directing and training or providing travel arrangements and money to the 19 hijackers who crashed four commercial aircraft into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania, killing nearly 3,000 people.
A plea deal would undoubtedly disappoint, if not enrage, death-penalty advocates among the victims’ family members. But other family members, including those troubled by the role of U.S. torture in the case and the delays, might see it as a fitting conclusion….

Get a load of that guy, Yosemite Sam in the flesh but more demented than the comic character. Apparently the planners of suicide missions like 9/11 happily sell their obscenity to others to carry out but don’t expect to ever participate or receive any repercussions themselves.
Probably the bureaucracy would rather not run the risk of trying them in open court because doing that would expose the real hideous doctrine of Islam to a wide audience, which is something they want to keep hidden.

I think you nailed it Greg, the elites probably know Islam is a violent death cult, but for some reason they feel it’s worth covering up. Either because they don’t want to start WW3 or they fear what Muslims will do to them if they tell the truth about Islam.

People have a right to know the truth that there is a cult of fanatics that want us to submit, convert or be killed. The more we try to hide it, the more the Muslim population will grow and the worse the fallout when the SHTF and it will happen, if not now, certainly in the next 20-40 years when it’s nearly impossible to ignore.
Some European nations have already reached that tipping point like France and Sweden, where Muslims no longer feel they need to pretend to be peaceful anymore and they start make demands and threatening the non-Muslim population. This is why someone like Zemmour has been so popular.
But thanks to the traitorous Left, they tar and feather heroes of the West who dare to speak out against this destructive ideology. If they silence critics of Islam then who’s left to oppose it, certainly not them. This is a violation of Amendment VI: “In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district [in this case, NYC] wherein the crime shall have been committed; …”.

V. might also look up that same specific verse in the NEW KING JAMES VERSION and see how it’s put right by reading “ You shall not murder” For in the very next chapter in Exodus 21:12 it reads “He who strikes man so that he dies shall surely be put to death.”
Further, in the New Testament the Bible reader in Roman 13:1-4 that not only are governmental law enforcement forces are ordained by God to hold back and stop the criminal and wicked activities by evil and dangerous men. This also this may extent to the criminal courts which h included punishment for the evil doer. If the Bible student examines more closely the specific verse number four he or she will discover that the scripture even refers to the government executor as type of minister of God to punish such men.

In conclusion the people who use their constitutional right to speak out against capital punishment do and should have the right of freedom of speech and expression to let other know how they feel on the subject of capital punishment. Nevertheless they either don’t know or do know but couldn’t care less that they are misusing the Bible in quoting Exodus 20:13 out of context.
Some of the anti –capital punishment feel might feel real righteous and pious by quoting that single verse out of the whole Bible , still in spite of the “pious emotions” some of them might have ,they are still misusing the Bible.

He explains the whys of it all….it began with “bo” and eric holder, and the mozlums wanting the planner to be sent to gitmo where he will be released…because biden is emptying that prison.
The mozlus confessed numerous times, bragging about committing the acts and saying why they did it.
Mr. Greenfield compares this to what happened during the war with hitler when some German sailors came her, didn’t manage to kill anyone, were captured, tried and executed in a matter of months.
