On February 11, Jihad Watch reported that “a number of staffers in Deutsche Welle’s Arabic department” were fired from Germany’s public broadcaster Deutsche Welle “after the employees were accused of antisemitism.” It started out with five termination proceedings, but the investigation was ongoing, and now two more have been added.
Germany’s former Chancellor Angela Merkel once admitted an Islamic antisemitism problem in her country. Despite her own reckless open-door immigration policy, Merkel stated: “We now have another phenomenon, as we have refugees or people of Arab origin who bring another form of anti-Semitism into the country.” It is peculiar that anyone would have expected anything different. Not all Muslims are antisemitic, but Islamic antisemitism is normalized in Islamic tradition, and many Muslims are deeply antisemitic. See also HERE and HERE.
These malicious lies being spread in a workplace foster disunity among employees, anxiety, and a toxic environment, in a media setting to boot. It is propaganda at its worst; its message is fueling a virulent form of antisemitism which has incited violence against Jews beyond the Middle East, and continues to encourage the Palestinian jihad against Israelis, which includes a “pay-for-slay” program (murdering Israelis for money from the Palestinian leadership).
The Palestinian determination to obliterate the Jewish State from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea continues to find support in Western countries, where all too many are brainwashed into the propagandist Palestinian narrative.
Since the Palestinian goal is to obliterate the State of Israel, this is the part of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition that offends them:
Manifestations might include the targeting of the state of Israel, conceived as a Jewish collectivity. However, criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country cannot be regarded as antisemitic.
Note that the definition does not aim to prevent criticism of Israel, but the targeting of it “as a Jewish collectivity.” It is because of its Jewish identity that the surrounding Arab nations have sought to destroy Israel since the day of its birth. This is why the Palestinian jihad to obliterate Israel continues. The Hamas Covenant (that is, the Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement) states:
Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it” (The Martyr, Imam Hassan al-Banna, of blessed memory).
Bear in mind that Islamic groups in the West that were named unindicted co-conspirators in a Hamas jihad terror funding case are “individuals/entities who are and/or were part of the
HAMAS’ social infrastructure in Israel and the Palestinian territories.” These groups and their offshoots have infiltrated the entire West.
The toxic Palestinian jihadist narrative has no place in the any workplace, let alone in any Western society.

Two Palestinian-German journalists have been fired from their jobs at German broadcaster Deutsche Welle, a week after the news organisation let go of five of its Arabic service staff.
The dismissal of DW’s Arab employees came after an external inquiry said Zahi Alawi and Yasser Abu Muailek published social media posts back in 2014 that were anti-Semitic, based on the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) controversial extended definition of anti-Semitism.
Critics have said that the IHRA definition is an affront to freedom of speech and is used to muzzle any criticism of Israeli policies and occupation against the Palestinian people, and equates anti-Zionism with anti-Jewish prejudice.
The social media posts in question referred to Facebook posts by Alawi and Abu Muailek that had condemned the Israeli offensive on the blockaded Gaza Strip in 2014.
“What the terrorist state of Israel is doing to the Palestinians is a repeated Holocaust,” Alawi wrote on his Facebook page in July 2014.
More than 2,200 Palestinians were killed, including 551 children and 299 women, in the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip that had drawn global condemnation.
The inquiry was led by German Justice Minister Sabine Leuthauser Schanberger and psychologist Ahmed Mansour, a Palestinian Israeli known for his anti-Islam views.
On February 7, the inquiry concluded its findings into the original five journalists under investigation, who were suspended from DW in early December. The probe found that although there was no evidence of structural anti-Semitism within DW, the five journalists were guilty of anti-Semitism.
Basil al-Aridi, Murhaf Mahmoud, Maram Salem, Farah Maraqa, and Dawood Ibrahim were suspended were fired on February 7 – the same day the two-month external inquiry was released….
