If the money trails in Washington were fully known, Henry Cuellar is unlikely to be the only Congressman under suspicion.

Last month, FBI officials executed a search warrant on the Texas home of Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-TX) concerning an investigation into Azerbaijani government connections. Although no charges have been brought against the congressman, the raid illuminates the pervasive nature of Azerbaijani lobby groups in Washington, D.C. that actively undermine the interests of Armenian Christians in Congress.
The FBI conducted the raid as part of a federal grand jury investigation relating to Azerbaijan’s conduct with Congressman Cuellar and a number of American businessmen, according to a report from the Armenian Assembly of America.
“This kind of corruption enables genocidal policies like the atrocities that occurred in Nagorno-Karabakh during the 2020 44-day war,” said Van Krikorian and Anthony Barsamian, co-chairs of the Assembly. “We urge Members to disassociate from the Congressional Azerbaijan and Turkish caucuses.”…
ICC welcomes the federal probe of Azerbaijani connections in Washington in order to root out damaging Azerbaijani influence into U.S. foreign policy towards Artsakh. Azerbaijan and Turkey continue to cover up their genocidal actions during the 44-day war and further erase the Christian history of the region.

Probably corrupted while at the Georgetown University school of foreign Service. There are plenty of problems in South Texas he should be spending his energy on. Time to vote him out. I’d assume his district is heavily Hispanic Catholic. The poor Armenian christians have been suffering under the fist of Islam even before Manzikert in 1071.

I was so disappointed when I heard about Rep. Cuellar being investigated. He was about the only Democrat calling attention to our southern border problems, and as a resident of a southern border area, I appreciated that.
But wheeling and dealing with Azerbaijanis???

Marat, the Gulen movement is concerning, but they are *not* the only ones supporting Azerbaijani aggession against Armenia. That would include Turkey itself, which opposes the Gulen movement as a rival for Erdogan.

The FBI should be looking at all political leaders as to the flow of cash, stocks, and family enrichment programs from foreign countries and Corporations buying influence. Becoming wealthy seems to be a vary common thing in Washington.
