My latest in PJ Media:
No, she isn’t stalking him, but it is almost as bad: Gen. Michael Flynn, who knows a thing or two about witch hunts, is taking action to stop the latest one. Naming all the members of the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol as defendants, he has filed a complaint intended to stop a subpoena from that committee. At the same time, according to the Western Journal, Flynn “filed a motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction specifically” against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Smirnoff). It is always refreshing, and far too rare, to see someone fighting back against this latter-day American version of the Stalinist show trials.
Remember: Flynn served as Trump’s National Security Adviser for less than a month before he resigned under a cloud in Feb. 2017, having become a central focus of the Russian collusion hoax. He wasn’t serving in the Trump administration in any capacity on Jan. 6, 2020 and had not done so for nearly three years. But that didn’t stop the rabid partisans of the Jan. 6 committee from trying to rope him into something he had absolutely nothing to do with.
“In November,” the Western Journal reports, Flynn “was mailed a subpoena ordering him to hand over documents and appear for a deposition.” According to Flynn’s complaint, “The Subpoena commanded General Flynn produce documents in response to twenty sweeping and vague demands covering a year and a half time frame — by November 23, 2021. Further, it commanded General Flynn to appear for a deposition on December 6, 2021.”
This is absurd, as Flynn was not a player in the Trump administration at that time, and so if there was any planning for an “insurrection,” (there wasn’t, as has recently been proven definitively), it would have been extremely unlikely that Flynn would have been in on it.
So why are the Jan. 6 committee and Pelosi targeting Flynn? Flynn’s complaint suggests that it may be because he was one of the many Americans who were skeptical about the integrity of the 2020 presidential election. The complaint points out that “it is not a crime to hold such beliefs, regardless of whether they are correct or mistaken, to discuss them with others, to associate with those who share the same belief, or to ask the government to address such political concerns.”
There may be other reasons as well. Flynn has for years been one of the most vocal and articulate critics of the failed foreign policy establishment that the Biden administration has brought back into power. (It wasn’t entirely out of power during the Trump administration, as deeply entrenched bureaucrats fought hard against his efforts to establish American foreign policy on an America-First basis.) As far back as Aug. 2015, Foreign Policy Journal reported that Flynn, who had then recently left his position as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, stated that the Obama administration had made “a willful decision” to support al-Qaeda in Syria against the Assad regime. It came out early this year that U.S. taxpayer money went to a jihadist group in Syria during the Obama administration.
There is more. Read the rest here.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Smirnoff)”
It took me a few seconds, but that is GOLD Jerry! GOLD!
Wellington says
Yes, very clever.
Hoi Polloi says
I love his D-Smirnoff-style wit. They’re all hilarious.
Westman says
Yes, funny. And she manipulates “Biden(D-Zombie)”

Yes–despite all this ugliness, Robert Spencer has a wry sense of humor.

When 81 year old Nancy Pelosi sobers up she is going to ask for a retraction of that comment. I actually don’t mind the fact Nancy spends her days getting off her face on vodka, just she should do it in an old people’s home. When she goes she should take old Joe & Dr Death Fauci with her as well.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Smirnoff)”
Okay, it’s clever to modify the standard thumbnail description of a Senator or Representative — like “(D-HI)” for “(Democrat, Hawaii)”or “(R-IN) for “(Republican, Indiana)” — by replacing the name of the U.S. State with some other word. But how is it clever to describe Nancy Pelosi with “(D-Smirnoff)”? Smirnoff is a brand of vodka. Is Pelosi famous as a vodka imbiber? (This is the first I’ve hear of it.) Somebody please explain the joke.

Mark, supposedly Pelosi has had huge bar tabs. But I have also heard that she does not drink. Of course, both may be true–not sure about her staff.

On Fox Nation Ep. 74 on Tucker Carson Today he interviewed General Michael Flynn and the General informed said about the leftists in high power that power that their “entire effort to get rid of Flynn is to get rid of Trump”
Nevertheless regardless of the vicious spite “charges against Flynn were dismissed” and the those who pressed those charges to against Flynn had been taken part in “government misconduct.”
In addition, General Flynn that in America “here are two separate governments” . One that the politicians are elected and the other are those in power who are the bureaucrats who do what they want.
The view were then informed that Obama and some other have influence in that bureaucratic shadow government. Of course the general didn’t actually use that term “shadow government.”
Walter Sieruk says
General Flynn had , wisely , declared “We should always remember that our country, was built upon Judeo-Christian values and principles,”
Indeed, much of the greatness of the history of the United States of America is because this nation was, mostly m founded and based upon the Judo- Christian precepts and the concepts and values of Bible based Christianity and not Islamic precepts and “values.”
As the second President of the United States, John Adams, had, so well, declared when he wrote that “The general principles upon which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity …. I will avow that I believed and now believe that those general principles of Christianity are eternal and immutable as the existence of God.”

It’s about time some one fought pelosi. She’s a lying witch who breaks laws she doesn’t like, while pretending to be a good Christian…one who quotes Scriptures that don’t exist.
Hooray for Gen. Flynn. Defeat the witch.

Ditch the witch!

He’ll have to file a Restraining Order against Nancy Pelosi to get her to show any restraint. She is constitutionally incapable of exhibiting any basic good or decency without being forced to do so.
Wellington says
I have longed assumed Pelosi is an utterly vile human being. To date, I have been presented no evidence that would change my mind. Repulsive, wretched person is she. Too many face lifts and vodka martinis as well.

While he’s been through a grinder, and though I have absolutely nothing good to say about Pelosi, I lost all respect for Flynn after this:
Michael Flynn says of the US: ‘We have to have one religion’

As do “our” Muslims.

I’ll pick that any day over an establishment that puts islam on a pedestal at par w/ Christian sects and Judaism. And I happen to belong to neither. Problem w/ Christians who are tolerant is that they happen to be tolerant of islam as well, which invokes Karl Popper’s rule that ‘unlimited tolerance will lead to the end of tolerance! Which is why someone who’s out to swat all non-Christians is more likely to be effective against islam than someone who tolerates everyone
PRCS says
The First Amendment’s prohibition aside, while far too many do foolishly put Islam ‘on a pedestal’, establishing a national religion (for 300 million people of numerous religious beliefs) is not the cure.
gravenimage says
Agreed, PRCS. You don’t protect America by destroying her core values.

…………………..
Infidel, this is one of the few times I’m afraid I strongly disagree with you. There is no problem with most faiths, and I don’t see why we should have to pretend there is in order to oppose the savagery of Islam.
Then–thank, goodness!–very few Christians want to crush other faiths–that is a diktat of Islam, *not* Christianity.

I was shocked a few days ago to read in the news that sikhs in india beat a man to death for “defiling” their golden temple. And the head cheese of the town condemned the actions of the man who was beaten, but not the sikhs who did the beating.
There was also in the article something about the killing of another who “defiled” their “holy book” and that they don’t allow anyone to depict, as a human, the guy who started the religion
. Indira ghandi’s body guards…all sikhs…killed her for sending troops into their golden temple.
I never knew that kind of thing happened in that religion. Thankfully this kind of thing does not happen as often as it does with mozlums. Or for so many irrational *reasons.*
gravenimage says
I just found that horrible story, Somehistory. Even if this was intentional, they had *no* right to beat and murder this man. I hope they are prosecuted.
I condemn this just as much as I would an act of Islamic violence.

I’ve lost my respect for Sikhs ever since 2016, when they decided to take the side of muslims against Trump. Like the Sikh guy who decided to try and disrupt a Trump rally
This is a religion where 2 of their founding gurus were executed, 1 assassinated and 1 imprisoned. They fought side by side alongside Hindus and in the 19th century, there was even a Sikh kingdom in the northern half of Pakistan which completely curbed the muslims. Leave it to the legendary Brits to totally sabotage that arrangement
But back to Sikhs: I recognize them as a separate religion, unlike India’s bizarrely written constitution. I’ve seen Hindus commenting on this incident by saying that they’ll avoid visiting Gurudwaras – something I’ve never done and now have a good reason never to. In fact, there wasn’t just the incident at the Golden Temple – the holiest Sikh shrine: a few days later, there was another lynching of a man who just went in to get food from the community kitchen that gurudwaras are famous for. The state government initially filed cases against the 2 dead men, as opposed to their killers, and only reversed course on the latter case later when more evidence came out about his innocence

Gen. Michael Flynn Files Restraining Order Against Nancy Pelosi
………….
*Good*.

Now if we could only find a prosecutor with enough B–ls to file charges against these political criminals we be getting somewhere. Friends in high places keep you out of jail, just ask Hunter, Bill, Hillary, Nancy and Chuck, Schiffty and dam what’s his name “Go Brandon” along with a few hundred others. If you don’t get charged with committing a crime you never go to Jail.
