As messed up as the United States may be these days, the Europeans periodically remind us that it gets worse. Much worse.
It’s hard to think of a more backward and warped phenomenon than the trial of former immigration minister Inger Støjberg, who tried to stop child marriage and the traffic of underage girls into the country during the Muslim migrant crisis. Or the resulting guilty verdict.
Inger Støjberg, a former Danish immigration minister and high-profile government figure during Europe’s 2015 migration crisis, was sentenced to 60 days in jail on Monday after an order she issued in 2016 was ruled illegal.
Støjberg had said that if a member of a married couple seeking asylum in Denmark was found to be under 18 years old — the legal age for marriage in Denmark — then the couple should be separated and housed in separate asylum centers.
Støjberg said at the time she was trying to protect “child brides” who may have been forced into marriage against their will before coming to Denmark.
This is political payback for her attempt to stop the invasion. And it’s meant to send a message to any other political leader with the courage to put their finger in the dike.
Støjberg brought in a series of tough new initiatives to dissuade asylum seekers from coming to her country.
These included a new rule granting border officials the authority to seize valuables to cover the cost of new arrivals’ stay in Denmark, as well as the rule allowing the separation of married couples, which was applied in 23 cases.
Doing the right thing will get you punished.
Speaking outside the court, Støjberg said the ruling was “very surprising” and went against what she believed her country should stand for.
“I think it wasn’t just me that lost today, it was Danish values that lost today,” she told reporters. “I would like to say that if I had had to live with the fact that I had not protected these girls — that would actually have been worse than this,” she said.

She was upholding the law.

She went about it the wrong way. She should have hired assassins to kill anyone who married children, and then pass it on to their lack of privilege. She’d have done fine that. Upholding the law – that’s so quaint! What does she think this is – 1980? ?

Støjberg was right to bring in a series of tough initiatives to dissuade asylum seekers from coming to her country by banning child marriages. She should also have banned first-cousin marriages.
Cousin marriage and child marriages in Islamic countries are usually FORCED marriages. They ruin a woman’s life and make sure she is a slave to the patriarch for life.
Liberation of Muslim women will lead to the greatest liberation in history with over 800 million women an girls freed to make their own choices.
Islam is the most systemically misogynistic religion.

children marriages have been legalised in european countries already and it is the eu policy that this law will pass to the whole of the eu gradually apart from maybe poland and hungary, from a completely demoralised corrupt and sickening european union… one would say that can change but for the time being one holds their stomach to the realisation of where human values have fallen to, as it was planned together with the islamic invasion….
to the most sickening disgusting level….

She did what was decent and right. Of course the “politically correct” turn everything upside down. I saw a headline from one of the major left leaning newspapers here. I wasn’t able to read the whole article though, but I saw the teaser to the article. The heading went like this “This would never have happened in my country”. This was a statement from one of the migrants in a reference to the separation that happened with these minor-brides. I mean, can you even make this stuff up? I don’t even know where to begin 🙁
Johnny B says
Maybe I should add that it was very obvious what was being implied, namely that the country this guy came from was much more humane and less brutal than the one he arrived at (Denmark). Yet, he and his entire family is still here all these years later, so go figure..
I know this newspapers general viewpoints when it comes to something like this; Muslims are basically angels and if not they’re certainly victims of either this or that. It’s just a horrible newspaper..

Good point, Johnny.

This is totally wrong…immoral and demonic. Isaiah said, “Woe to those putting darkness for light, evil for good and bitter for sweet.”
Woe is coming for those who take little girls and rape them daily: and calling it marriage won’t keep the woe from being visited upon the scum doing it, making it possible for others to do it, and punishing this woman who was doing the right, moral, thing.
But, just this week, it was revealed that the dod and the cia are allowing known pedolusters…those having child porn and even raping small children, to keep their jobs and not be prosecuted.
Those allowing it and those doing it, will all face the “Woe” that Isaiah warned of.

Yes, somehistory – and a very pertinent quote from Isaiah 5:20

Denmark Minister Sentenced to Prison for Trying to Protect Muslim Child Brides
……………………
Moral insanity. Inger Støjberg is a hero!
somehistory says
The poor children she was trying to help most likely adore her. She deserves respect…and her freedom, plus a huge apology for all she has been through for doing the right thing.

Convicted by political opinion, which means Inger Støjberg is now a political prisoner. The Feudal system for the Elite never ended in many European nations.
Jesper says
Hi from Denmark.
A political verdict. Because cases can only occur if the majority of the parliament votes for it.
And halfe of the judges are MPs.
This has noting to do with justice and fair trial.
Everybody in the Danish media and law experts are surprised that she got jailtime.
She was jailed, because she was against childbrides , with no exceptions.
She will only become even more popular because if the verdict.
She is one off the very few MPs from her now former party, that actually fights against the islamic culture.

Thanks for your view on the ground, Jesper.

I really thought that Sweden or Britain would be the first Islamic European state. But no, Denmark has beaten them to it. What will come next? Imams taking part in government? Re-introduction of the death penalty? Special license for doctors and hospitals to amputate hands and feet? Introduction of Islamic theology classes in primary classes? (Oh, no…they’ve already got those.) Deportation of all Christian priests? Where will it end. We allow in a few moslem refugees and 40 years later our nations have been changed totally. And who is to blame? You? Or you? No. Our brainless leaders are to blame. They have allowed in millions of unintelligent, unemployable, mainly young men who will never speak our languages and will never contribute to our societies.
joan_of_ark2005 says
But…but….all of those millions, who immigrated to all of those many NON muslim countries, will have a purpose, and a good reason for being there, very shortly. One word in Rev 20:4, will tell you what that is…you wouldn’t think that the regular citizens of all those countries, would do that, to the ones who will NOT take the mark, would you? Nah, there’s many others, who will be working for satan, and be glad to work for him, exterminating all of those pitiful, little Christians, and Jews, who REFUSE to take his mark, during the “coming soon” 7 year Tribulation period.
Of course, a lot of them are getting antsy, and decide to practice…
But have you asked yourself, what GOOD reason, is there, for all of these MANY “people” to walk, run, boat, to all of these 27 or 28 NON muslim countries? Do they absolutely love the country their in, and it’s beauty? Do they love the people who live there, and their food is SO delicous, and they came a LONG way to get some of THAT! lol….jk.
So, test question. Who hates, with a passion, the Christians and Jews?
And isn’t it iin their “book” to hate them, kill them, not make friends with, etc?
Well, maybe they hate those Godly people, MORE than satan does, but either way, they will ALL have a job soon, working for satan, doing what it says in that verse, Rev 20:4. (And here’s an interesting tip, that word in that verse? It’s also in the koran! What a co-ink-a-dink!)
James Lincoln says
So, the Danish court apparently is okay with migrants violating Danish law: 18 years old to marry.
Sounds like sharia law is “trumping” Danish law – with this case as a precedent.
OLD GUY says
Coming to America sooner than you think. Thank you Let go Brandon and friends. Will these Muslim/Islamic migrants make America a better place to live? I doubt it. But we will change our laws or at least bend them so as to conform to their belief system.

The sickest thing is that Inger Støjberg is accused of violating the European convention on human rights for separating “couples”. Never mind that one member of these “couples” is a child. This is not human rights. *Ugh*. She is also accused of “restricting the rights of foreigners”–even though these laws against child rape also apply to native Danes.
What makes this all the worse is that this is only the third time since 1910 that a politician has been tried by this court.
