It is because Leftists truly believe in CULTURAL RELATIVISM, that is the postmodernist belief that there is
No Objective truth. Truth changes according to what culture you have.
Leftists believe in intersectionality,all are divided into categories of oppressor and oppressed. What category you are in depends on
race, gender,

Since there is no objective truth, you can’t condemn what Muslim culture and religion does, they are an oppressed group. You can condemn honor killings,sexism,etc in Western culture, but not otherwise.

Doomer, racism in the West is pretty rare these days, but you are mistaken in believing that racism against dark-skinned people is about fear of the dark. This makes no sense.
Besides, I have never heard that caucasians or other light-skinned people are more apt to be afraid of the dark than are people with darker skin tones.
And both my husband and I have brown eyes–we do not associate this with death. In fact, many people have dark eyes. The idea that people with dark eyes cannot find mates is mistaken.
In fact, while there are blue-eyed sex symbols like Brad Pitt, there are also many with dark eyes, like George Clooney.
As for Kamala Harris’s husband Doug Emhoff, he is a balding guy in his late ’50s. He may have other good points–I know little about him–but he is not particularly a sex symbol.

One of my brothers has blue eyes, another has green eyes, mine are hazel but most people assume they are light brown. I’m also somewhat of a swarthy white guy who has never had a problem with finding dates among the opposite sex. I never thought about it but I guess I should be shocked that I don’t scare myself when I look at myself in the mirror.

GI, a few of the speakers who survived the Holocaust told about people in the community at the time who discouraged open, critical response to the Nazi’s. They were afraid to speak, but not afraid enough to leave. “He didn’t mean them!” I recorded many of those survivors.
