Just after an Islamic jihadist murdered a British MP and another murdered five random people in Norway, two stalwart guardians of our sacred democracy’s cosseted ruling class, Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishu) and Jan Schakowsky (D-Lightfootland) have determined to take action.
On Thursday, they introduced the Combating International Islamophobia Act, which would, according to a press release posted on Omar’s website, “require the State Department to create a Special Envoy for monitoring and combating Islamophobia, and include state-sponsored Islamophobic violence and impunity in the Department’s annual human rights reports.” This will supposedly “help policymakers better understand the interconnected, global problem of anti-Muslim bigotry. It will also establish a comprehensive strategy for establishing U.S. leadership in combatting Islamophobia worldwide.”
The press release says nothing whatsoever about combating jihad terror or about how suspicion of Islam may be created by the all too common spectacle of Muslims committing acts of violence while screaming “Allahu akbar” and justifying their actions by reference to Islamic texts.
Omar and Schakowsky claim that “this year, the United States has seen over 500 documented complaints of anti-Muslim hate and bias.” Their link goes to another press release, this one from the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), claiming that these documented complaints include “hate crimes, harassment, school bullying, discrimination, hate speech, and anti-mosque incidents.”
“Hate speech”: this means that trivial incidents in which someone who is rude to a Muslim gets counted in as a hate crime, inflating the numbers of those crimes and contributing to the false impression that Muslims are victims of widespread discrimination and harassment in America today. With that low a bar, it’s no surprise that the press release at Omar’s site goes on to note that “in March, the United Nations Human Rights Council cited discrimination and hatred towards Muslims has risen to ‘epidemic proportions.”
Omar claimed that “we are seeing a rise in Islamophobia in nearly every corner of the globe. In my home state of Minnesota, vandals spray-painted hate messages and a Nazi swastika on and near the Moorhead Fargo Islamic Center. These types of incidents are all too common for Muslims in the United States and beyond. As part of our commitment to international religious freedom and human rights, we must recognize Islamophobia and do all we can to eradicate it. That’s why I’m proud to partner with Rep. Jan Schakowsky to create a special envoy to put an end to this bigotry.”
Really, that Nazi swastika business is terrible. But let’s try to keep some perspective, shall we? Muslims in Nigeria are subjecting Christians to murderous jihad attacks on a near-daily basis. Muslims in Pakistan persecute Christians and other religious minorities by means of that country’s draconian blasphemy laws, which have seen lives destroyed on rumors and false charges. Compared to that, some spray-painted graffiti just isn’t that big a deal, although certainly the louts who did it should be caught and prosecuted.

This doctrine of hatred (AL WALAA WAL BARAA) is a form of Islamic APARTHEID … hateful towards non-Muslims, but supportive and loving towards ‘brother’ Muslims.
WALAA means ‘comradeship’ and BARAA means ‘cleansing’ or ‘apartheid’.
Muslims are required to ‘CLEANSE’ themselves from any association with the DIRTY, POLLUTED KUFAAR and required to hate them ‘for the sake of Allah’.
Jihad occurs because Muslims are canonically required to hate non-Muslims by this ‘ESSENTIAL TEACHING’ (usul ud-deen) of Islam.

I would like to ask her a question. With all the persecution and slaughter going on in Pakistan, Nigeria and other African states, not to mention Afghanistan, where the Sunni are slaughtering the Shi’ia, and all the terrorist attacks in Western countries, Is it surprising that non Muslims view Islam with horror and disgust? Any person with a concern for humanity would be at least repelled.
I suppose her answer would be that is not ‘real’ Islam.

I don’t blame her-she’s acting in her own interest, like Obama they smell blood in the water, they see the US as a very weak nation, esp. under Biden. They see that there’s nothing but morons in power who are clueless on Islam so they’re pressing their advantage.
If I was a Muslim I’d be doubling-down right now also, given the complicit, supine admin that’s in control.
I think it’s going to be a very ugly fight. The center-Right is too polite to take a firm stand against Muslims. Meanwhile the RGA (red-green alliance) pulls the race and Islamophobia card every single chance they get to shame and silence opponents of their agenda.
Nobody is going to save us, we have to do it ourselves by standing up to these thugs, bullies and Islamic loons. And by ‘us’ I mean those on the center-right, esp. in gov’t. Conservatives need to step up, we need more people like Ted Cruz and other anti-Islam voices to fight back.

Omar reaching out for assistance from the state department tells you all you need to know about the state department. The ugly secret is the federal governments agencies and departments have been, for decades, seeded and stocked with democrat supporters. If you don’t fit in with the democrat party you don’t get hired. People talk about fixing things by electing good representatives but that alone wont do it. Elected politicians are a prop that makes Americans think they are being represented while the un-elected massive cancer below continues on, unrestrained, unobstructed, unnoticed.
