Hizballah is an Iranian proxy. Last year, the Department of State Department indicated that Iran funded Hizballah to the tune of $700 million annually. By comparison Iran is said to give $100 million annually to Palestinian groups such as Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
It makes sense to crack down on Hizballah given the jihad threat it poses, amplified by its importance to Iran. Yet in a peculiar contradiction, the haphazard Biden administration — unlike the Trump Administration, which ended it — is eager to revive the disastrous nuclear deal that was funding Iranian proxies, including Hizballah. The deal that was based on lies by Iran’s own admission. Now Biden seeks to sanction Hizballah. That’s good, but to coordinate with Muslim Brotherhood-supporting Qatar to do so is unwise.
It was reported last year that “Muslim Brotherhood activists and media outlets have seemed very enthusiastic about the Democratic candidate Joe Biden’s progress in US election results. Analysts attributed this enthusiasm to their wish for an encore of their experience in the era of former President Barack Obama, during which they played a remarkable role riding the wave of the ‘Arab spring’ uprisings.” Now the Muslim Brotherhood has a clear pass.
“US issues Hezbollah-related sanctions in coordination with Qatar,” Al Jazeera, September 29, 2021:
The Biden administration, in coordination with Qatar, has imposed sanctions on several alleged Hezbollah financiers based in the Gulf region, accusing them of providing and facilitating material support to the Lebanese group.
The US Treasury Department announced sanctions on Wednesday against what it called a “major” Hezbollah financial network based in the Arabian Peninsula.
The administration targeted seven individuals – citizens of Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, as well as a Palestinian national – and a real estate firm that it said funnelled millions of dollars to Hezbollah and institutions linked to the group.
They include Ali al-Banai, Ali Lari and Abd al-Muayyid as well as Qatar-based AlDar Properties.
The US sanctions freeze their assets in the United States and make it a potential crime for American citizens to do business with them….
That was echoed by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who welcomed the sanctions as an example of the Biden administration’s cooperation with international allies….

When somebody creates a group called the PARTY OF GOD (hisb-allah) and then gets hundreds of millions in advanced weaponry, then you know the group is not benign!
Furthermore, when said group has the backing of a fanatically ideological government, they have no fear of running out of money or training for their terrorists.
A more accurate name for Hizballah would be ‘The Army of Allah’ or ‘The Terrorists of Allah’. That would explain to you what they are actually about.

“School Boards Ask Biden Admin to Treat Parents’ Protests as ‘Domestic Terrorism”The national organization of public school boards is calling on the Biden administration to protect its members from “angry mobs” of parents who protest against COVID-19 restrictions placed on students and the teaching of critical race theory, characterizing the protests as “domestic terrorism.”
The National School Boards Association (NSBA), which represents more than 90,000 school board members in the United States, wrote in a Sept. 29 letter (pdf) to President Joe Biden that the federal government must “deal with the growing number of threats of violence and acts of intimidation occurring across the nation.”

Yeah another mistake Democrats make in the Middle East is to think they can get cosy with some virulent Islamic group so they can offset another different poisonous group.
The answer is of course NO, they are all different versions of the same toxic ideology; and if you aren’t thinking elimination you are wasting your time.
Let us hope they wake up sometime soon.
