On Friday, September 10, 2021, the Philadelphia chapter of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is presenting a panel discussion entitled “Remember Pearl Harbor to Never Forget 9/11: Teaching Japanese American and Muslim American Histories.” There in a nutshell is much of what has gone wrong in our nation’s response to the 9/11 jihad attacks, and why we are so drastically on the wrong path now.
The CAIR panel is as noteworthy for what it is not about than for what it is about. It is not about the victims of 9/11, the lives lost, the lives destroyed, the magnitude of human suffering that was inflicted. It is most certainly not about the ongoing global jihad: a useful panel could be held on groups that still exist around the world that hold to the same belief system, ideology and goals that the 9/11 plotters and hijackers held, and which are an ongoing threat to Americans and to all free people. Hamas-linked CAIR is never going to hold such a panel, and neither is anyone else.
Instead, CAIR, predictably enough, focuses on the people who hold the same beliefs as the jihad attackers of 9/11 and have, CAIR claims, been victimized and discriminated against in the United States as a result. Statistically speaking, such claims are wildly exaggerated. FBI hate crime statistics show that anti-Semitic hate crimes are far more common than attacks on Muslims, which actually dropped 42% in the last year. No hate crime is justified, but the idea that Muslims are living in fear of MAGA-hat-wearing redneck vigilantes in America is Leftist fantasy.
Nonetheless, that is not just the focus of this unsavory Hamas-linked group, but of the establishment media as well. The Los Angeles Times on Friday published a lengthy weeper entitled “Muslim youth in America: A generation shadowed by the aftermath of 9/11,” all about how some people say rude things to innocent Muslims just because some people did something way back two decades ago. The article begins: “On a rainy day during her sophomore year of high school, as Aissata Ba studied in the library, a photo popped into her phone. It showed a beheading by Islamic State militants, along with a caption in red letters: ‘Go back to your country.’” In the big bad, “Islamophobic” USA, the perpetrator of this horror got off scot-free: “Ba reported the incident. Administrators never tracked down the person who sent it.”
The Times explained how Muslims are the true victims of the 9/11 attacks: “Asked when they thought such incidents became common, the Ba family didn’t hesitate. ‘It started with 9/11,’ said Ba’s mom, Zeinebou, who immigrated to Chicago in 1999. That day in 2001 caused a chain of tragedies — for the nearly 3,000 people who perished during the attacks in New York, at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania; for the young men and women who died serving their country in the wars that followed; and for Muslims, and those perceived as Muslim, who became targets of hate.”
It would be much easier to sympathize with all this if not for the fact that since 9/11, CAIR and its allied groups, with eager help from the establishment media, have insisted that any honest investigation of the motivating ideology behind the attacks, and jihad terror in general, constituted “hate.” Then there are the numerous fake anti-Muslim hate crimes, fabricated apparently in order to buttress the claim that Muslims are uniquely harassed and victimized in the United States. There are many lessons to be learned from 9/11 but in my opinion the most valuable are:
1. The 4 attacks were not launched from Afghanistan. They were launched from Logan international Airport by Islamic terrorists who had been welcomed into America.
2. The 9/11 attacks were preceded by many other Islamic attacks on America including the 1993 bombing in the basement of one of the Twin Towers.
3. Tens of thousands American would have been killed but for the unbelievable courage and sacrifice of first responders.
4. The Establishment had and still has no clue what motivated these Islamic attacks or, if they know, they are too cowardly to act.
5. Islam is a conquest ideology and the Surahs which motivated the attacks are still operational.
Remember 9/11 by citing the evil Surahs that motivated the attacks. Mortimer, use of your scholarship would be most welcome. Please give us chapter and verse from that evil book not written by God.

The difference between Pearl Harbor and 9/11 is that in the former we destroyed and all but wiped out Japan. We accomplished that in just under four years.
We screwed around in Afghanistan for twenty years and accomplished nothing..

America wasn’t attacked from Afghanistan. It was attacked from Logan International Airport by adherents of a conquest ideology. Bin Laden could’ve been anywhere in the Middle East or indeed in Canada or the United States at the time of the attack. He was driven out of Afghanistan in October 2001. It was pointless to stay in Afghanistan after that.

This is the reality Israel has to deal with on a daily basis as they’re attacked continuously while the international press are portraying the ever innocent Palestinians; the real victims of the war. It’s amazing how this can go on year after year, it’s ALWAYS the poooor innocent Muslims who are the real victims of Jihad and evil white right-wingers who blame Islam. Forget about all the non-Muslims who’re killed and mutilated in the process, especially if they’re Jews or Christians.
I don’t really blame the Muslims here, they’re just playing the game and aiming for victory. I don’t think a lot of Muslims don’t know what is really going on and what the ultimate goal of Islam is. I do blame all the politically correct and useful idiots here in the West. I really hope they get to live and experience the world they’re creating for the next generations here. Right now they’re more concerned with their own self-righteous crusade against everything that build this part of the world, even though it made it possible for them to live such privileged lives in the first place. It will not continue with people like that in charge and the West is already falling apart at the seams.

Nobody seemed too interested in the fact than Zawahiri (Al-henchman numero uno) may still be walking this planet.

It’s a shame to think that this could have been 20 years of at least a partial success had we withdrawn cleanly as originally planned. It would have been a complete success had we done in Afghanistan what we did in Japan after WWII: just like we banned emperor worship in Japan, similarly we should have kept islam completely out of the Afghan constitution

Also, I was just looking at the ReligionofPeace.com ticker on the right, and today, on this 20th anniversary, we have also hit the 40,000 deadly terror attacks (not casualties) since 9/11/2001. That would be a clean 2,000 attacks per year, or over 150 per month, or over 3 per day!

The Afghanistan Constitution was drawn up in 2004 and declared Afghanistan an islamic Republic with sharia law.
Our continued support for the then Afghanistan government should have been contingent on at least some version of a Western style government.

The evilness of that decision was made obvious when Abdul Rahman, an apostate from islam to Christianity was sentenced to death, and the US had to force Afghanistan to drop that and then enable him to flee to Italy so that he wouldn’t be murdered instead

I completely disagree. Wars have unintended consequences. It is best to avoid war if possible. The best way of avoiding war with Islam is just to keep Muslims out of Western countries. They don’t have to like it. They can lump it.

You’re right, if the objective of the war is too interventionist. But we did things like bomb Serbia in the 90s, and except for one idiot who was captured straying from North Macedonian territory into Serbia, we had no casualties or POWs. That can be the template of any military action against a muslim country: just bomb them, taking out all their military sites as well as civilian sites that conceal military assets (no, Virginia, they don’t get to condemn us for killing civilians if they deliberately embed their military assets in civilian areas)
As Reuben pointed out, there are already too many muslims in western countries – ranging from 1% to 15% depending on the country being discussed. We’ve not yet discovered the event – at least at government level – that would cause us to deport every muslim out of our countries. Heck, even the ‘travel ban’ that we had left out countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey, to name a few

Those Islamic attacks on 9/11 were indeed very “harsh.” As Sura 2:191 instructs “kill the disbeliever wherever you find them.” That’s a very strange kind of “peaceful religion” if there ever was one. Just to site one more out on many from the Qu ‘ran about the instruction of deadly violence is Sura 47:4. Which instructs “Whenever you encounter unbelievers strike off their heads until you make a great slaughter among them …”
The harsh reality is using jet planes a missiles as those jihadist/ Muslims did of September 11, sure made a greater “slaughter among them” then sword can. Wake up West to the actual nature of Islam before it’s too late.

Thank you Walter for your thoughts. The apologists are everywhere, here in Canada, Jagmeet Singh makes wild statements about Islam – -if you wear a hijab, you cannot walk down a street in Canada without being killed. Singh is asking Canadians for their vote, no mention of his wild statements. Many of the big attacks, the Danforth shooting for example, we were told not to jump to any conclusions and the government did not inform the people for days who was responsible for days. M-103, our hate speech law, introduced by a Muslim, Liberal member of parliament has weakened our security.
