The establishment media has given us story after story about Muslims supposedly being victimized in the West after 9/11, and nary a single one about the fact that the jihad threat is still very much with us, in the West and around the world.

Growing up in Edmonton in the 1970s and 1980s, lawyer Dany Assaf never saw himself as any different than his friends and neighbours.

His family had a rich history in Canada — his great-grandfather moved to the country from Lebanon in 1927 and helped build the first mosque in Canada. Like many boys his age, Assaf also dreamed of becoming an NHL player.

His family’s Muslim faith never came in the way of their Canadian identity.

“We never imagined, we never even thought that we could ever be portrayed as the ‘other,'” the author of Say Please and Thank You & Stand in Line told Day 6.

But that changed on Sept. 11, 2001, when the militant terrorist group al-Qaeda flew hijacked commercial airliners into the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon.

The attacks killed nearly 3,000 people, including at least 24 Canadians.

“It’s like living in a nightmare because now you’ve got stereotypes and prejudices that are being attributed to you when you have absolutely nothing to do with this kind of terrorist act,” he said….

    • Lawyer Dany Assaf should be smart enough to figure out why attitudes of fear are present, but instead he indulges himself and blames the victims … he blames the dirty kufaar for being afraid of the Muslim terrorists. He is merely trying to have one foot in both camps … that cannot be done, and he knows that.

      Muslims ALL KNOW that jihad is a core teaching of Islam, but they want to pretend that it isn’t.

      Does lawyer Dany Assaf DENOUNCE ISLAMIC TERRORISM? If he did, he knows that he would be a target of the terrorists.

      Stop playing games, Mr. Assaf ! Either you are a part of the jihad, a supporter of jihad or else you are NO LONGER a Muslim. There is no half-way Muslim / half-way Kafir denomination you can belong to.

      Make a choice, Mr. Assaf. Either ‘IN’ the jihad or ‘OUT’ of Islam.

    • As a Canadian Christian guy myself originally from Iraq, I wanna say that you’re absolutely right plus , we never heard Muslims protest Shriner ISIS who killed Iraqi Christians and raped Iraqi Christian girls and yazidi girls as well ! In the west snaky Muslims play victims !

  2. Hey Dany Assaf your problem has got nothing to do with being mis-treated or victimized by Canadians due to your religion. Your problem has got a lot to do with the fact that your mind is possesed by an evil ideology called Islam which has meesed up your life and this in turn makes you want to mess up the rest of the world. The sooner you realize this fact the sooner you will be free of your suffering and the sooner you will be part of the solution rather than part of the problem.

  3. Yes, many people from many different countries suffered the horrors ans misery of those jihadist of al Qaeda on September 11, 2001.

    Furthermore, on September 11, 2001 those murderous and destructive and deadly jihad attacks by jihadist/Muslims of al Qaeda were not acting out in a hijacked form of Islam but actual Quran based non-watered down hard core. As the Quran teaches in 9:111, “The believers fight in Allah’s Cause, they slay and are slain, they kill and are killed.” Likewise, this “holy book” of Islam also instructs in 47:4 “Whenever you encounter the disbeliever strike off their heads until you make a great slaughter among them…”

    The hash reality is that using jets planes as missiles as those jihadists did on 9/11 do does ,tragically , make a much greater “slaughter among them” than a sword can. There are the other verses the give instruction for violence and killing for the cause of Islam, as 2:191. 5:33. 8:39.9:5, 38-39.

    Adults are responsible for what they choose to believe, regardless of what they may have been brainwashed into during their formative years. If you choose to adhere to an ideology, religious or otherwise, which advocates the subjugation and/or destruction of “unbelievers”, then don’t complain when you are looked upon as part of the problem.

Which was the outcome of the Islamic doctrine from the Qu‘’ran [the Koran] of a sexual paradise with many virgins, houris , in it for the male Muslim /jihadist who dies fighting in the jihad for the cause of Islam is found in the “holy book” of Islam, the Koran, in Sura 44:54. 55: 56. 78:31. Also there is the Koranic instruction of Sura 9:111 which teaches “The believers fight in Allah’s Cause, they slay and are slain, they kill and are killed.” Getting back to the origin doctrine of Islam from the Koran of a sex –filled paradise with many houris for the use only by the male jihadist who dies fight for the advancement of Islam.

    All this started when the founder and prophet of Islam, Muhammad manufactured Islam he put , had stolen, some of sex doctrine of Zoroastrian mythology and a yet smaller bit of Hindu mythological sex teachings along with as well as mixture pagan Arabian folklore and myth plus a heavy dose of Judaism and Christianity . Also some of it apostate “Christianity” For the prophet of Islam, Muhammad, couldn’t discern the difference between genuine Bible based Christianity and bogus “Christianity.”

    Those words and teaching Muhammad gathered from many sources, including the virgins /sex place mythology. , and taught as “Divine Truth” were written down on many things then later compiled and then went into the composition of the Koran. So the hoax of the Koran is actually a mixture and fusion Judaism Christianity and mythology of other religions and now the Muslim clerics with the Koranic brainwashing of young Muslims who are thoroughly mind programmed into believing this Islamic/Koranic virgins myth.
    This deception of false doctrine /myth into the thoughts of some people was predicted in the Bible along with the false teachers who engage in the indoctrination of such a myth /doctrine into the minds and hearts other people. For it is written “For the time will come when they will not stand wholesome teaching, but will follow their own fancy and gather a crown of teachers to tickle their ears. They will stop their ears to the truth and turn to mythology.” Second Timothy 4:3,4. [N.E.B.]

    Until Muslims, like the two subjects of this article, are challenged to unequivocally renounce and denounce those aspects of Islam’s texts which clearly run afoul of the secular, man-made laws of the nations in which they live–they will continue the charade.

    Indeed, does the hijabed woman–Sheema Khan–even know what Qur’an teaches about that garb?

      And she’s written an entire book on the subject–“Hockey and Hijab–Reflections of a Canadian Muslim Woman”. It includes an essay on “the meaning of Hijab”. I haven’t read it, but it is quite obvious that it is another one of those “Muslims are just reg’lar folks” Taqiyya.

      She also claims that “a proper reading of the Koran and understanding of the teachings of the prophet Muhammad would lead to an Islam that would be perfectly compatible with Canada’s unique multicultural experiment”–what a load of tripe.

      Disgustingly, there is another essay on “Why Muslims are angry”–no doubt they are angry because the ‘filthy Infidels’ are becoming concerned about Jihad terror. Bad dhimmis!

    The normal, average person, unhappy with conditions where they live, will work to move to a place where they believe conditions will be better for them.

    mozlums just make stuff up. Anytime the Truth begins to come to light, they must lie and whine and lie some more in order to get the positive feedback and the pats on the back they don’t deserve.
    then, they go home and snicker because so many of those they see as their enemy have swallowed the garbage, hook, line, and sword edge.

    And no matter how much sympathy, acts of kindness, and new privileges they receive, just let someone mention the attacks of mozlums anywhere, and it’s back to whining and lying and carrying on about how everyone hates them and discriminates against them for their “faith.”

    What was YOUR reaction to what these terrorists did in the name of your god? Osama bin Laden was in the public eye for years before 9/11. For that matter, what about the Iranian Revolution? Did you ever speak out in response to what Ayatollah Khomeini did and said in those years?
    I can still remember a story I saw on the news only once (there was video) of Muslims in New Jersey cheering as one of the twin towers fell to the ground. Never did I believe that life in America could be like this.

  10. The CBC and many other Left-leaning media outlets have decided to support Islamic fascism. Fairness, balance in journalism has long died. Now it’s they fawn over whoever whines the most about their hurty feelings.

    Imagine if the MSM coddled the Nazis during WW2, that’s exactly the situation today with Islam. No inquiry into their ideology. They treat terrorism like an ‘act of God’ like a hurricane or an earthquake, just something that happens and not caused by thinking agents with an intent to destroy us.

    They have no interest in examining Islamic ideology but should anyone dare denounce Islam, they’ll be excoriating and demonizing them right along with the Muslims. Beliefs have consequences and so does making choices. Sooner or later the Left will learn the hard way what happens when you choose cowardice, submission and align with the enemies of freedom.

    • Actually, much of the press pre-WWII *did* spout apologia for Fascism, characterizing it as “modern” and excoriating critics like Winston Churchill as “hysterics” and even “war-mongers” for daring to say anything negative about the Nazis.

      That is why we cannot be silent now–this whitewash of Islam can be countered if enough of us speak out.

It is amazing that Muslims seem to think that they can murder over 3000 people in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, along with endless other terrorist attacks, and yet they think that people won’t care about that and will treat them well. The arrogance of Muslims stuns me. Most Muslims are treated well in our western countries, too well as far as i’m concerned. Anyway, if these Muslims in Canada or anywhere else don’t like the way they are treated in non-Muslim countries, then they should piss off to some Muslim paradise country and live their Muslim lives among their fellow Muslims. They won’t be missed by the non-Muslims in our western countries. I think it makes sense to distrust Muslims. Far too many Muslims, who once might have been OK, become more devout and become terrorists. It happens over and over again.

I would say that people killed by the Muslim terrorist scum don’t matter to most Muslims. What sort of a reaction was there in the USA to her saying that? I would have thought that plenty of people would have been extremely angry at her saying that.

          Her workers bought a lot of votes; paying people for checking a box or signing their name on a ballot brought to their door by her workers.
          Many of these ‘voters’ were mozlums from somalia….and cannot even read.
          Hundreds…if not thousands…of ‘votes’ were harvested in that manner.
          One of her guys…mozlum of course…was ‘caught’ with around 300 of these ballots in his car, and bragged about it.

          That’s not being re-elected…that is cheating her way to a high-paid gig for which she is totally unqualified.

          Though every Muslim man, woman, and child in that district probably voted for her–at least once–it was the non-Muslim population that got her over the finish line.

          Keith Ellison, a Muslim former congressman who represented that district prior to Omar’s election, was later elected–by enough “filthy unbelievers:–as the state’s Attorney General.

          Muslims in the U.S. have many, many useful idiots.

        • Thanks for the information about how this maggot got re-elected. The electoral process sounds very corrupt, somehistory. Here in Australia, especially in Melbourne, Sudanese and Somali Muslim youth gangs have been a huge problem. They were very violent and were carrying out carjackings and home invasions. It was very bad, but seems to have quietened down a bit lately. They seem to be pretty hopeless migrants to any country. PRCS, I know what you mean about the useful idiots, the people who buy the whole leftist agenda, and support Muslims continually. Omar sounds appalling. We have a few Muslims in our parliaments in Australia, but, so far, none of them seem as bad as she seems to be. Probably only a matter of time before we get such a scumbag in our parliaments, both at the Federal and at State levels

        • Most places here do see what she had her people do as illegal and don’t allow “vote harvesting.”
          She has committed fraud and so has tlaib…who said she lived where she was running, but it was her father’s house and he stated that she did not live there.

From what I hear about Omar and Tlaib, only here at Jihad Watch that I hear about them because they are not on anyone’s radar in Australia, they sound like appalling, and criminal, creatures, that’s for sure.   13. For the non muslims in Islamic countries, being oppressed, discriminated, raped, robed, tortured, etc by the muslims certainly is not a nightmare for the muslims, thus muslims never complain.
    Afterall, it is the fault of the non muslims themselves. In fact, doing that to the non muslims is an act of mercy of the muslims because it will entice the non muslims to become muslims. The non muslims should be grateful to the muslims for doing that, not complaining.
    That is the logic of muslims.
