Reuters reported Tuesday that at least one global authority is already reconciling itself to Taliban rule in Afghanistan: “The chief of field operations of the U.N. children’s agency expressed cautious optimism about working with Taliban officials following their seizure of power in Afghanistan, citing their early expressions of support for girls’ education.” The source of this optimism may have been Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid sounding a superficially reassuring note: “We are going to allow women to work and study, women are going to be very active in society… we guarantee all their rights within the limits of Islam.”
That’s a relief, right? Everyone, including Afghan women, is expecting the Taliban to act swiftly and ruthlessly to oppress women, but if Zabiullah Mujahid is on the level about respecting women’s rights within the limits of Islam, how bad could it be? After all, everyone tells us that it’s a religion of peace and tolerance, right? Still, instead of just breathing a sigh of relief at Zabiullah’s words and assuming that all will now be well for women in Afghanistan, it would behoove Westerners to familiarize themselves with what those “limits of Islam” actually are — that is, what Islamic texts say about women, as opposed to what Western non-Muslim spokesmen wish they said.
The record of those Islamic texts, unfortunately, is not as benign as the UN children’s agency might assume. The Qur’an teaches that men are superior to women and should beat those from whom they “fear disobedience”: “Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because Allah has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them” (4:34).
The Qur’an likens a woman to a field (tilth), to be used by a man as he wills: “Your women are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth as you will” (2:223).
It declares that a woman’s testimony is worth half that of a man: “Get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as you choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her” (2:282).
The Islamic holy book also allows men to marry up to four wives, and have sex with slave girls: “If you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry women of your choice, two or three or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly, then only one, or one that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice” (4:3).

Why is everyone on the Right up in arms about Afghanistan? It’s not the USA that lost the war, it’s the SWAMP in DC that lost it because they were the ones waging it all this time. If anything, this is an extremely good thing for the conservatives in America because it shows that the Deep State Satanic Globalists that run the US government and all three letter agencies can indeed be defeated. Hopefully, this is a start to US military clearing out from every other country they invaded as well and putting an end to endless foreign wars. Though knowing who’s running the show, it’s highly unlikely that will happen, but it’s a good start nonetheless.
And what’s the downside? Women in Afghanistan (who are all muslim) might get lesser rights? How terrible! Absolutely dreadful! There is no such thing as lesser women’s rights anywhere in the entire muslim world! I say we re-invade the Taliban and fight for muslim Afghani women’s rights! In another 20 or 30 years, we might maybe possibly start to see some signs of progress!
Seriously though, the only negative that will come of all this are the potential millions of “refugees” (read: musim economic migrants and invaders). UK has already volunteered to accept 300,000 and are asking the rest of the Europe to “take their fair share”. Worst case scenario, we may see sudden surge in numbers from Africa and Middle East. But then again, the “migrant” train from the muslim world never actually stopped, we simply got used to it, so frankly there’d be no big change there.

That execution was very unislamic: the Taliban was resorting to bida out here. Under shariah law, that woman, who was accused of adultery, was supposed to have been buried up down to her waist and then stoned to death. Even in Turkey, they do it that way. How could the Afghans be so derelict in their observance of shariah? ?

Are you suggesting we re-invade Afghanistan (and every other muslim country) because some small portion of women might be killed under sharia law? My main point is this: Stop caring about some sand people who are still living in the stone age (both mentally and physically) halfway across the planet and start worrying about the actual and more immediate threat which is the Deep State controlled US government. If you are a Trump supporter (or just conservative in general) and you have publicly voiced your opinion online, you are already on a watchlist of some sort. And now that the military has little to do, it’s no exaggeration to say that its efforts will be focused on “domestic terrorists”, and we all know who that refers to.

Actually, the main 2 negatives of this outcome are:
– Tons of US military hardware falling into the hands of the Taliban. If we have to attack that country for any reason going forward, it could be a lot more difficult. There is also the possibility of that hardware getting sold to China or Russia or Iran or Pakistan
– US civilians who’ve been working there on various projects (although god knows why?) being stuck there, while Afghans have been loading up those planes
I understand the need to get translators and other people who were employed by our forces out of there. But just b’cos the Taliban plans to execute everyone who went so far as sold a pen to a US soldier doesn’t mean that we owe it to get them out of their country. Let the Taliban be the ones to figure out what percentage of the population they can massacre before it boomerangs on them

Eh… I wouldn’t worry about modern military hardware falling into the hands of the cave-dwelling Taliban, I don’t think they’ll be put to good use anyway. But even if they do use it somehow, there is zero chance of it being used to attack USA simply due to the huge land distance. Selling it to America’s enemies might be of some concern, but even then, how would they use it against USA except by declaring open war? I doubt that’ll happen any time soon.
Thousands of American civilians being stuck in Afghanistan at the mercy of the Taliban is a legitimate concern, I hadn’t thought about that. But still, that does not impact the bigger picture which is that the Taliban are not a threat to USA in its home soil. And from what I’ve seen of them, it does appear that the Taliban are genuinely seeking to be a part of the international community without causing any incidents by being the rampaging, murdering muslim fanatics we all thought they’d be (myself included). Everything seems peaceful over there so far.

All aware people who understand Islam know that the last four words of that statement has an obvious meaning .
Which is the with Islam the rights of females are very limited. As in within the Islamic view ,they have little to no rights at all. .
As this has been so well explained by Brigitte Gabriel in her book ,entitled THEY MUST BE STOPPED in Chapter 9 of the title “Islam’s Contempt for Women” which informs its reader on page 171 “Control of behavior and disregard for human life are key elements in Islamic ideology.”
In addition ,on the next page it further reads ” Women in Islam are considered unclean , deemed inferior even to dirt.”
The tragic and sad reality is that Islam is a religion of brutal ,cruel ,harsh and even ,at times, murderous misogyny.

The scruffy cave dweller I saw on the news proclaiming about women’s rights said ‘within the limits of Sharia’ which is no different to within the limits of Islam all said and done, and some in the west actually thought that was great news but have adopted a wait and see just in case they go back on their word.
What’s wrong with these people? They actually think this is a good deal for women?
Oh well, what follows will be a good opportunity for them to brush up on their Sharia.

Hmm. Women and girls are to have rights within the “limits of Islam”. That means no rights at all. Or rather the right to be treated like crap by all the Muslim men as is always the case with barbaric islam. To be born a girl in any Muslim country is one hell of a curse to have to endure.
