Palestinian sheikh urges Taliban to ‘declare Islamic caliphate,’ ‘liberate Jerusalem’

In an open address at Al-Aqsa Mosque, a Palestinian Islamic scholar, Sheikh Issam Amira, called on the Taliban “to declare an Islamic Caliphate” and to “liberate Jerusalem.”. This should open the eyes of everyone to the thinking and doctrine behind the Palestinian jihad against Israel (and the Jews in general), but the willfully blind are determined to stay blind, even at the cost of innocent lives.

It was only a matter of time before the Palestinian jihad was linked to the Taliban, and we will see more such linkage, as the various jihads around the world emanate from the same doctrinal wellsprings and are in service of the ummah that transcends national boundaries. The Islamic ummah will stand behind its Palestinian “brothers” no matter what. According to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation:

Hamas has already congratulated the Taliban.

Last November, Sheikh Amira delivered another sermon, praising jihadist Abdullakh Anzorov for beheading school teacher Samuel Paty for alleged “blasphemy” in Paris. Yet Amira is accepted as a mainstream Islamic scholar among Palestinians.

Sheikh Issam Amira: “Oh Taliban, we call upon you, from the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
