Some good news to report out of Pakistan for a change.
International pressure was also swift when news emerged of this youngster’s arrest. The aspect not being covered, however, is the quality of life the boy and his family will now have. Imprisonment and execution for so-called “blasphemy” in Pakistan is not only a matter for legal authorities. Muslim village mobs also sometimes hunt down those who are accused of blasphemy.
The boy and his family will live in fear for rest of their lives, never knowing a moment’s peace again.

Police in Pakistan have dropped blasphemy charges against an eight-year-old Hindu boy after media and government pressure over his arrest.
The boy, the youngest Pakistani ever to be charged with the crime, was accused of intentionally urinating on a carpet in the library of a madrassa, where religious books were kept, in July.
His release on bail prompted an attack on a Hindu temple by a Muslim mob in the conservative district of Rahim Yar Khan, in Punjab.
“The charges against the boy were baseless,” said Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, special representative of the prime minister on religious harmony.
Ashrafi said the police officers who had charged the boy had been arrested. “Minorities are equal citizens and these are illiterate people attacking worship places,” he said. “Our Islam does not allow attacking of any other religion’s places of worship.”
The temple has been repaired by the government and was handed back to the Hindu community in a ceremony on Wednesday. Dozens of people have been arrested for vandalising the temple and have been told by local authorities they will have to pay for repairs.
The boy and his family are still in hiding and under protective police custody for fear of reprisals.
Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, head of the Pakistan Hindu Council, said: “We are happy that the charges are dropped and the temple is repaired. It was made possible after the media pressure and government pressure on the [local] authorities.”….

While they have this respite, that boy’s family should make it to Rawalpindi and apply to go to India on a pilgrimage, and stay there. That’s something that’s now legal under the CAA

Imrân Khan does not govern Pakistan – Islamic Imams do. Whatever excesses these illiterate pseudo men have to offer, he will sanction. Both he and Pakistan are a modern example of what can go wrong- and badly so, when the uncivilized ignoramus brute becomes dominant. There is NO ideology that I can think of that delights in both persecuting and prosecuting very young children, men and women, and those who merely wish to live their lives according to their own lights. None that are outside of Islam that is. When are we in the West going to sanction these muttonheads for their horrifying abuses all across the world? Judging from the level of violence instigated by the totalitarian demands of non western countries, the world appears to be roughly divided into two parts – one with never ending-and rising levels of war, death, lawlessness, mutilations, horrifying sexual abuse inspired and/ or permitted by Islamic governments, the other – the countries in Western democracies where the terrified and abused run to for sanctuary – all based on Christianity. This distinction between good and evil has never been clearer.

Obviously the message is not getting through inside or outside of Pakistan. Perhaps you should straighten that out with your imams.
