Former NHS doctor behind Glasgow Airport jihad bombing confesses to plotting the attack

Poverty causes terrorism, or so mainstream counterterror analysts constantly assume. In reality, Ahmed was a doctor, and came from a wealthy family. He “used his ancestral property worth to fund terrorism, recruit terrorists and buy arms to create havoc.”

The Al-Qaeda terrorist who helped ‘mastermind’ the Glasgow Airport terrorist attack has confessed to his involvement in planning the suicide bombing and revealed exactly how the plot was hatched.

Sabeel Ahmed, a former NHS doctor, was arrested following the June 2007 attack and sentenced to 18 months in prison in the UK after pleading guilty to failing to disclose information that could have prevented an act of terrorism.

He was then deported to India after his release.

His brother, Kafeel Ahmed, died of his injuries in Glasgow Royal Infirmary in 2007, two months after the attack – which saw him attempt to drive a burning jeep loaded with propane canisters into the airport terminal building.

Fellow perpetrator, Bilal Abdullah, was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder in December of 2009 and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 32 years.

Ahmed, nicknamed ‘Motu Doctor’ by Indian security services, is currently in custody in Delhi’s Tihar Jail having been detained in Saudi Arabia in September last year and extradited to India in connection with an alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorism recruitment plot.

Hindi News have labelled Ahmed Sabeel ‘probably the single most highly educated terrorist of India’ and report that he ‘used his ancestral property worth to fund terrorism, recruit terrorists and buy arms to create havoc’ in the country.

They report that Ahmed, in his confession concerning his role as ‘mastermind’ of the Glasgow Airport attack, says he was radicalised alongside his elder brother Kapil while on repeated visits to the Tipu Sultan Masjid mosque and surrounding areas in Kolkata, India.

While working as a doctor at a hospital near Liverpool, Ahmed added that he was in constant contact with his elder brother and that during that time his brother would constantly talk to him about committing Jihad.

Sabeel told the news outlet: “After some time in May 2007, my elder brother Kafeel Ahmed came to visit me in England. My brother told me that something big has to be done for Jihad and for that we have to plan together”.

Sabeel revealed that he and his brother were planning a suicide attack in London and he assured Kafeel of all possible help. Despite this, Kafeel returned to India. Things then started happening when Kafeel went to Iceland and during that period the pair kept talking by email and other communication methods and planned Jihad….

Sabeel added: “Just before the Glasgow bomb blasts on June 30, 2007, my brother Kafeel sent me a message in which he had sent the password of an email. I read the message, which was about Mission Jihad.

“There was a suicide attack at Glasgow Airport on the day the email was sent. Kafeel was badly injured in this attack and was immediately admitted to hospital, where he died one month later”.

Sabeel was subsequently arrested in Liverpool by anti-terrorism officers and sentenced to jail for failing to disclose information that could have prevented the attack – having misled detectives probing the attack for five days….

That must have been very easy.
