This is good, but British authorities are still so paralyzed by fear of being called “Islamophobic” that many Muslim rape gang victims still aren’t getting justice. And the British political and media elites aren’t even close to dealing with the heart of this problem, in Islamic doctrine.

Three men who targeted a young girl on her paper rounds before raping her in a playground and her own bedroom have been jailed for a total of 41 years.
Banaras Hussain, 44, Talish Ahmed, 41, and Mohammed Akram, 44, subjected the child to a campaign of abuse between 1995 and 1998.
Leeds Crown Court heard the girl, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was just 12 years old and wearing school uniform when the predators first identified her as a target.
The court heard she was raped in a primary school playground and one of the men once climbed up a drainpipe and into her bedroom at her father’s house and raped her.
The vulnerable teen suffered the abuse between the ages of 13 and 15 before finally managing to break away from her tormentors, who are all from Huddersfield.
The three men were found guilty 25 years later as part of West Yorkshire Police’s Operation Tendersea enquiry, which investigates the historical abuse of young girls in the region.
A jury heard the victim was groomed for sexual purposes and bribed with cigarettes, vodka, special brew lager and drugs.
Opening the trial on Monday, prosecutor Kate Batty told the jury that from the age of 13 the girl was deliberately targeted by older men who wanted to use her for their own sexual purposes.
Batty described the girl, who was the daughter of an abusive single mother and was bullied in school, as vulnerable with low-self esteem.
She said older men struck up conversations with her in the street and she was groomed by being made to feel special, including by being given cigarettes, alcohol and drugs.
Batty said: “By the time she was 13 years old, she was drinking every day and was intoxicated most of the time.”
Appearing in the dock on Thursday, Hussain, who was 19 and married when he groomed the girl, was sentenced to 18 years for two offences of rape against a female aged under 16.
Ahmed was handed 10 years for the rape of a female aged under 16.
Akram, also 19 and in a relationship at the time, was handed a 13 years sentence for two offences of rape and one offence of indecent assault….

A.F., an honest, estimate of the cost to keep a person in jail in the US is about 80 to 100 dollars a day. I doubt it is less expensive in the UK. And that does not include welfare benefits for dependents while the prisoner is being held. How much can taxpayers afford to “teach” the unteachable savages? Please consider. The punishment should fit the crime, not punish the society for detecting the crime. What is a just and fitting punishment for rape?

Frank, As a father of a now adult daughter, I would have to say that I believe there can only be two possible sentences for rape.
Castration, with the word rapist tattooed on their forehead along with a prison term and for serial rapists, the death penalty is appropriate.
This may sound harsh but I was raised in a society that reveries women. If it wasn’t for females non of us would be here!
And so deserve our respect and anyone who harms a female does not get off lightly.
For us, the only time it is acceptable to harm a female is in battle when they are combatants.

There was a time when the convicted rapist of a child would be segregated from the normal prison population. As soon as they entered prison their lives were at risk. Also as the father of a daughter there is no punishment bad enough for their crime.

Frank–with the greatest respect–I don’t think that we should change our laws for Muslims. Just stop the flood of Muslims into the west, and deport these thugs after they have served their terms.

GI, we are changing our laws to permit muslims and their collaborators to violate them with absolute impunity. Everything that used to be prohibited is now permitted if you are muslim. Law that you and I are expected to obey, means nothing to the special people now calling the shots. Since when were we permitted to burn cities, set up independent states within cities, burn police stations and federal court houses? How about looting and burning private property? And what are you watching locally where shoplifting is no longer a crime and stores are closing? How is this tolerable? Unless we are ready to watch a total collapse into chaos, law had better adapt.

The only thing these men fear is to be deported. They should All be deported, because they cynically broke their contract with the generous country and with the generous people who trusted them.
Islam teaches that Muslims may break any contract with kafirs, if it is an advantage for Muslims.

Let’s think this through for a minute: While they are in jail, however long or short, what will be done to “convince” them that what is permitted in sharia is prohibited under UK’s human made law? NOTHING!
What will it cost to house, feed, and guard these savages?
What will the welfare benefits to their families and dependents cost while they get their free ride?

Robert Spencer is correct above: the UK elites do not know the rape doctrine of Islam, namely, that it is ‘mubaa’ (licit) to rape kafirs … Sharia has no penalty for this crime. For Muslims under Sharia, raping a kafir is similar to taking a fish from the water. It is ‘mubaa’ and ‘halal’.

The headline is misleading. The three offenders were not sentenced to 41-year prison terms, but to terms of 18, 10, and 13 years, respectively. Yes, 18+10+13 = 41, but no-one is going to prison for 41 years.

The far bigger problem is Leftwing lawyers and judges who will treat a perp with kid gloves as long a he belongs to a Leftist client group. Note they’re treating people who milled around the US Capitol on Jan 6 gawking ad statues and plaques without damaging anything as “insurrectionists”, while the thugs who terrorized, burned, and looted cities for months on end and launched crime sprees are supposedly brave fighters for civil rights.
