The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign was originally intended to delegitimize the State of Israel by presenting it as an international lawbreaker, an apartheid state, an oppressor and “occupier.” The jihadist goal is to obliterate Israel, and BDS is one weapon that is employed to further that goal.
Says the Hamas Charter:
“Israel will rise and will remain erect until Islam eliminates it as it had eliminated its predecessors.”

J-Street supports Ben and Jerry’s boycott of Israel.
“After Ben & Jerry’s snub, Herzog calls Israel boycotts a ‘new kind of terrorism,’” Times of Israel, July 21, 2021:
President Isaac Herzog called boycotts of Israel “a new kind of terrorism” on Wednesday, joining a chorus of Israeli officials who have ripped into Ben & Jerry’s over its decision to cease ice cream sales in West Bank settlements and East Jerusalem.
“The boycott against Israel is a new type of terrorism — economic terrorism. Terrorism that seeks to harm Israeli citizens and the Israeli economy. We must oppose this boycott and terrorism of any kind,” Herzog said during his remarks at a memorial event for former prime minister Yitzhak Shamir.
“The BDS campaign does not pursue peace and seeks to undermine the very existence of the State of Israel. It is aiming its arrows at the Israeli economy,” he continued, insisting that all Israeli leaders over the years would respond aggressively to such measures directed against the Jewish state.
The comments were lambasted by the Palestinian Authority foreign ministry, which said in a statement that “the occupation is terrorism itself. It is the worst kind of terrorism.”
“The Israeli president should thank Ben & Jerry’s. They’re an alarm bell. Either Israel wakes up from its occupation and works to end it, or it will face a total boycott,” the PA foreign ministry added.
Yair Golan, from the left-wing Meretz party, was similarly critical of Herzog’s characterization of the boycott.
The former deputy IDF chief of staff tweeted at Herzog, writing: “As someone who knows terrorism and has been fighting terrorism all his life, what is happening in the international arena is not terrorism. We must fight against the boycott with one hand, and for a two-state solution with the other. But using concepts drawn from the world of violence is not the way.”
“An ice cream boycott is not terrorism,” Golan added….

There is already a two-state solution in Israel and it was created under the direction of Winston Churchill and the Colonial Office in the 1920s. 76% of the Mandatory Palestine was sliced off of the originally designated Jewish homeland and given to the Hashemite family without the permission of the League of Nations. It could be said that Jordan is an illegal entity as well, at least the way it came about.
The right for any country to exist is not absolute, but a matter of international agreement between state that chose to recognize the entity. It’s time to recognize Israel and stop the psychodrama. Arabs are free to live in Israel, but millions of Pally descendants now live in diaspora in Western countries. Most have left Judea and Samaria.

Boycotting ice cream coming into is a pain in the arse for the residents that buy it, but it should only effect the bottom line of the parent company.
If they were trying the same shit on anything that is exported from Israel, then that would be an entirely different matter. If anything, this now gives an Israeli startup the opportunity to fill the void.
Ben & Jerry are simply doing this as a means of sucking up to the extreme left and the anti Israel crowd.
Let’s face it, the money coming out of a small country like Israel would be a tiny part of their profits.
This just contributed to the illusion of the so called Palestinians having any importance in the world.

BDS is essentially the Left’s way of pretending that Israel is the moral equivalent of Apartheid South Africa, even if it’s anything but. While in the meantime, the racist policies of muslim countries go unchecked
Personally, I practice a BDS against muslim countries. While shopping for anything, if I see things made in any muslim country – main examples I see are Bangladesh, Indonesia, Egypt, Pakistan, et al I give them a hard pass and keep looking
maria says
I do the same, and if there is anything connected to islam (halal marked) I don´t buy it.
And the same goes for clothing mostly from Bangladesh or other muslim country
And now there are more people who do the same in my neighborhood

Infidel,
I also try to not buy goods that are made in China.
It’s not easy – or always possible…
Infidel says
Yeah, China is difficult, especially when it comes to electronic goods. Like I bought a grooming kit, a Chromebook and some other electronic item recently. All made in China
Hopefully, India’s ban on Chinese imports forces these companies to look elsewhere, such as Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines or India itself to make such products

Israel’s President calls BDS ‘new kind of terrorism’ after Ben & Jerry’s boycott
…………..
Yes–this is disgusting. And the head of the board is not just “woke”, but is an active supporter of Hamas and Jihad terror against Israel:
“Ben & Jerry’s Board chair supports jihad terror against Israel, has defended Hamas and Hizballah”
