To me, the answer is obvious: The “leftists” have been reading about Nazi Germany when the Storm Troopers were running uncontrolled between January 30, 1933 and June, 1934, when the Night of the Long Knives ended their reign of terror; putting in their place the SS and Gestapo. GI, there was no real difference between the Nazis and Communists in pre-WWII Germany. They both used common tactics for the goal of taking power over a bunch of sheep. The only real difference was the source of the orders they followed, Nazis-Hitler, Communists Stalin. I think it is fair to speculate if the Communists had won in Germany, all of Europe would be under Soviet domination today. Looks like the Communist successors are getting a second chance to take control.

That being said, I think that claiming that Lefitsts like these are *directly* inspired by the Fascists is mistaken. In all of my reading and viewing of pre-WWII Germany, Nazis and Communists used the same methods for the same goals. They imitated each other’s propaganda in addition to their street violence. Why? Because it worked to keep those in the “middle” cowed until one or the other prevailed.
It could be estimated that where the question then was to take orders from Berlin or Moscow, it could now be taking those orders from Beijing or Tehran. They have proclaimed openly for 1400 years the goal to force us, all of us, to “convert, submit or die.”

Look for example at UK, Canada, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden . . Violence continues and excuses flow like water from traitors and collaborators seeking the destruction of western society, to be replaced by totalitarian rule and death. Hitler and Stalin played on those indecisive people long enough to take away all choice, as these mobs seek to do now. As one economist speaker explained in a German video, “You didn’t know if what was to come was a big problem with a few benefits or a small problem with many benefits; you just did not know [until it was too late]”. If they win, will the orders come from Beijing, Istanbul or Tehran, maybe even Cairo or Riyadh? You never know, it might be Washington, London, Paris or Berlin after the conquest is complete? There are plenty trying to destroy us and a few trying to stop them; but they have by whatever means and methods learned from the past what works. When will “we”?
If there is an example in history worth considering: Think of Winston Churchill when speaking ca. 1940 about the expected German invasion of the UK. “We shall fight in all places at every opportunity. . .” (paraphrased). Think about all the places presently available to us, today, in the US. From a courtroom attempting to submit a lone woman to sharia or a professor fired for telling the truth about islam. Common Law Courts were invented by William the Conqueror to substitute for trial by combat to keep his nobles from killing each other over disputes. That was a good reason then and remains a better approach today than fighting in the streets.

What is mental illness to us, both of us, reflects a person’s either lack of ability to conform with what we consider normal, or complete indifference to the rules we, you and I, wish to live by. What is being told by throwing the mental illness label? That most informative book, that you may have suggested to me over a year ago, Without Conscience, by Robert Hare, PhD, discusses his work with mentally ill people in prisons, especially psychopaths.
We are just as dead or enslaved by mentally ill people as we would be by “healthy” people. Is there a step we could and should take after learning the people who are doing all in their power to either kill or enslave us, and destroy our society and future, are “mentally ill”? Is there a difference to be found by knowing how many angels can sit on the head of a pin?

Yes, I don’t think we disagree on much if anything, but I must say I don’t mind sticking a label on certain people, or certain organizations (e.g., the KKK), or certain ideologies, etc. at times (here is where we might disagree—you are anti-label and I am most definitely at times pro-label).
As examples, I think Biden can be labelled as a mental incompetent. I also would assert that Nancy Pelosi is easily the most harmful Speaker of the House in American history (really, no contest here). I would label Karl Marx as the classic example of the intellectual with foolhardy and pernicious ideas. And I would “label” Islam as the one major religion which is evil to its core. And, oh yes, I would label modern Western Leftism as evidence of a mental disorder.
Nothing the matter with labels per se, Frank. Indeed, sometimes they can be very helpful, as can humor in trashing malevolence (e.g., Charlie Chaplin’s The Great Dictator).

I’m not sure if this is a response to my post. Just to make it clear, even though I’m Christian and think homo-sexuality is basically wrong, I’m not in favour of making it illegal or condone violence against homosexuals, transvestites, etc. But that doesn’t give them a pass to force their LGBT-agenda on the kids, especially since it always seems to be so sexual in orientation. Kids should be protected from that. I’ve even seen videos where they try to normalize very sexual shows, pole dance, twerking, and so on in kindergartens and public schools with transvestites. In many cases these “transvestites” are just fully grown, bearded men with large wigs dressed in some kind of light lingerie. The idea seems to be that as long as it can be labelled LGBTQ+ then it’s all good and anything goes and if you have any grudge against it YOU are intolerant and a bigot and what not. That’s why I don’t care what they call me any longer. They have no moral compass and are simply twisted and perverted if they support something like that and take the kids hostage in their propaganda.

The left are usually anti-religion, so I thought that he was probably right in what he said.
